I don't know how they found so many good employees every person here knows everything there is to know about their products. I always tell them when the wines I like and a ballpark price range And they find me two or three bottles I've never heard of that are good every single time without exception. This is a brief review to thank Haque for exceptional customer service. I searched all over Los Angeles (including my favorite wine/spirits store in Beverly Hills) for a certain Italian digestive that I wanted to try. No luck. When I googled it, miracle of miracle, Lincoln FW had it. I called, spoke with Haque, he checked inventory and immediately put aside two bottles for me to pick up by the end of the day. He volunteered to do it. When we went to get it, he had it bagged and ready with my name on it. I live nowhere near this store but, given that kind of customer care, I will go out of my way to buy from them in the future. Thank you! read more

This review is for the staff at cash registry and tasting event. Visited tonight for the tasting which gave 6 pours each barely wet the bottom of glass so could not even smell the wine. Also, packed space, and silent staff who I learned nothing from. Asked the front desk on way out to see if this is typical so I could decide whether to come back next time. Didn't get my answer. Instead, received series of assuming and condescending comments including "we are not a place to get drunk" and "it's on you" for coming in...If the wines are expensive, price appropriately for an appropriate event. Don't waste my time and skip the attitude. Cute place, decent wine, but will avoid. If you are serious about wine, both K&L and Winehouse have much better selections and professional staffs. If you want overpriced wine and good ambiance, try Wally's. read more

Yeeeeesss!!! Finally- a place that values it's customer's safety as well as delivering a great product. I am so THANKFUL for their delivery service and attention to detail. The employees are incredibly knowledgeable- every time I stop in. I realize that due to Covid-19 the shop has had to make a few changes to protect their clientele, but I am happy to oblige knowing that the employees are safe. Veronica is an angel! My friends and I are always obsessed with everything she picks for us. I've been trying to stick to Natural Wines to avoid any extra chemicals in the foods and beverages I ingest. Lincoln has the best Natural Wine Selection. I truly miss visiting their "Natty Corner" pre-Covid. LA has great wine shops, but most of the time the prices are too high, or the staff doesn't know what they are talking about. This will be a short review as I literally stopped into Lincoln Fine Wines for two minutes while my husband waited outside with the car running. We came to pick up a bottle of wine for a house party in Venice on one of those smoldering hot days a couple weeks back. The place was small with a cheerful feel. It felt pleasantly cluttered and bursting with boxes and shelves and fridges full of wine. There were a couple guys on staff and they were very friendly and helpful. I told them I wanted a good hot day wine, maybe a white, in the $25-40 range. They thought it over and agreed on a specific bottle of chablis already chilling in a fridge. It was at the bottom of my price range. Didn't actually get to try it as there was a keg and a lot of open bottles when we arrived at the party. I'm sure it was good, though, and I'll come back to Lincoln Fine Wines whenever I'm in need of a reasonable bottle and some expertise in this part of town. read more

Selection, good pricing, helpful and knowledgable (but not dismissive or conceited) staff. This is what you look for in a wine store. And this is what you get at Lincoln Fine Wines! I've been shopping here for years. I consider myself fairly knowledgable about wine, but am always open to suggestion, and theirs are always spot on. They don't upsell you, they listen to what you say you like, and they give you a bottle that you will enjoy. It's a small store, but they still have an amazing selection (they aren't enormous, but they don't fill their store with 100 cases of the same wine), so you'll be in and out in just a few minutes. One order arrived short a bottle, the other was never delivered but says it was and wasn't with the other two orders I received from Lincoln on the same day and time. I've reached out via email and phone to get this issue sorted and they stopped responding weeks ago, leaving this matter unaddressed and haven't done anything to rectify my order that I was shorted 1 bottle. Tried to file a claim with the courier they used to ship the lost package, but was denied because the shipper has to file the claim and still hasn't for over a month now, despite asking them to do so. No issues with Lincoln up until this last experience but the lack of communication and inability to take accountability for an easily correctable mistake is why I will not be ordering from them anymore. read more

I love wine shops that are carefully curated like Lincoln Fine Wines. They stock wines at all price points and have a bunch of incredibly sophisticated $20 wines that look like they are about $40, are highly drinkable and you will not feel embarrassed bringing as a gift for someone. Worst wine store I've visited. We went for some sweet Riesling, and they didn't have much so I looked around. The employee started following me closely in the small space they have to walk around. It was very uncomfortable. He was pressuring me to pick quickly... Telling me that every wine I pick up is "good". So it did not feel right. Wine shopping is an experience, and it takes time for some people. They make that experience a bad one when they follow you way too closely, and pressure you. This was all happening as the manager/owner? was just sitting there, so you know it's not fully the employee that is the problem but the management. Go to ANY wine store other than this. There are plenty in the area. They ruined my wine buying experience. Also overpriced. If you rate this wine store more than 2-3 stars then you seriously need to visit a better wine store, because this store on inventory and setup alone does not even come close to a 4-5 star wine store, let alone their uncomfortable customer service. read more

I went back to Lincoln Fine Wines last night for my 2nd time ever, and was fully convinced they are the best. Here is why. First, their selection is incredible. It is wall to wall boxes of what can only be good wine from all over the world. Plus they have all the appertifs and digestifs you would want. Second, the staff is fun and approachable. They make you feel comfortable asking all the random wine questions a novice like me has to ask. I was able to walk in, give a vague description of the things I am looking for, and walked out with 3 bottles I was very excited for. And third, they know what they're talking about. I CAN NOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH. As a business owner myself, I know the importance of honesty, education, and how that ties into the advice you give clients. Zero salesmanship, just making sure your customer is happy with whatever they decide to go with based on their wants and needs. Bonus points for location too! I'm not a wine drinker at all, so I've only ever come here to pick up gifts... as such, I have no idea what I'm looking for. The times I've come in, I walk in with a budget and an objective ($20, red wine, etc.) and walk out with a gift for someone who will hopefully get more enjoyment out of wine than I ever will. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!! I walked in today after looking for a bottle of pinot I haven't been able to find. I saw on their website they had it in stock. I walked in and asked if they had it. If your first impression after seeing the Box City layout of the store is to head to the counter for poppers, lube, Powerball, and cigarettes, then we should be friends. As if to prove American provincialism, the wines are divided in America and not-America. Wines are identified by handwritten shelf tags that are just hilarious in its illegibility. As an experienced roving wine store prices shade-thrower, the prices here are absolute ripoffs, something that I've never criticized other stores for doing so because there are always uncommon QPRs. I breezed in here buzzed from having some midday Saturday cocktails (my fave) and was a bit late to a friend's house to meet her recently adopted kittens. Lame but awesome at the same time. I have always driven by this place and wanted to check it out. I parked along the side of the building in allotted spaces and walked in to be greeted by three friendly employees. The shop is small but mighty. They have quite the selection and it seems pretty organized. The wines are labeled and clearly delineated by region etc. I purchased a pinot noir and a sauvignon blanc. The store associate helped suggest some quality wines but of course I was being cheap. I ended up spending $ 34 on two bottles of wine but I would be curious to go back and spend more for a more special occasion rather than just cat play time ha ha. I like this place and enjoy smaller places with rare finds as well as old standbys. read more

Wonderful for many reasons: 1) Great staff are helpful but don't pressure you. Very very knowledgeable, yet approachable and down to earth. 2) Great selection of local producers as well as European and other selections. Staff have personal relationships with many of the actual wine-makers, owners and growers. Not many wine stores like this. 3) Wines you won't find elsewhere. 4) Very good prices. Whether you want to stop in quickly and have someone help you pick the 'right' wine for a dinner or gift, or you want to spend a long time looking through interesting wines and discussing them with the proprietors and staff, LFW has both! Love this place. Best on the Westside. My other fave is 20/20. Less expensive than Wally's. Less 'intimidating' than 20/20. Way more personal and warm than Wine House Better wine than Wine Expo. I just moved from The Valley where the Toluca Lake Vendome was my jam to Venice. Whole Foods has lots of wines to choose from, but I haven't purchased any of there wines because Lincoln Fine Wines is right down the street. The staff has been friendly and knowledgeable and introduced me to several new white varietals since I started shopping there.
