I purchased a replica Gibson guitar from Lincoln Pawn. I found out 6 months later that it is a Chinese counterfeit. I called the pawn shop and spoke with Jesse, he is the individual that sold it to me. I explained that I was recording the call, and their message said they were recording as well. He admitted that he knew it was counterfeit, but he thinks that using the term replica, covers selling fraudulent items on eBay, it does not. He refuses to give me a number to reach the owner, he has changed his story about 9 times, all on tape. DO NOT TRUST LINCOLN PAWN IN ANAHEIM!!! I went into their business yesterday to try and sell a brand new watch. their website states specifically that they specialize in movado watches. upon inspection the employee said he was going to have to pass on a BRAND NEW MOVADO CHRONOGRAPH. I got it as a gift so there was no need for it. I asked for 33% of retail as a starter price. they treated me like I was in desperate need for cash. I simply wanted to sell a watch. Few things about this place: 1. It's not as big as their website and list of inventory would have you believe. 2. The kids working here are friendly but, not very knowledgeable. 3. If you're looking for a gun, you'll probably be disappointed. They have a website (gunstores.net) with an inventory of what they can get, but 90% of it isn't on the California roster, which means you can't buy it. I learned this lesson the hard way of trying to put a deposit down and being told it's restricted in California. Why they have it all listed as available and who they intend to sell to, I have no idea, but don't try to order unless it's on the doj roster. read more

Ive been a regular customer of Lincoln pawn for some time now and they have never let me down. I fell short on my rent this month so I took some things down to them and was unsure of the amount I was going to get but I needed not worry they asked how much I needed and they met that amount without a problem. My wife is always bugging them on the phone I apologized but they responded with a light heart "No need to worry we enjoy talking to her". I never thought I would ever buy a hand gun from a pawn shop, but I read a couple of reviews and thought what the heck let me go check it out. I saw a Glock 19 gen3 and had them pull it out for me. I did a quick function check and realized that the Glock was in great shape. To my surprise they were having a 25% off sale. I grabbed this weapon for $299. I have since put around 400 rounds through it without a miss feed. I will be checking on their inventory every other month to see if they get any weapons I may be interested in. The staff made the transaction very fast and simple. Buying a used gun is not a bad idea. In my opinion it's like buying a used RV most people only take them out a couple of times a year!! In the beginning I Went to assured pawn shop yesterday in the city of gardena. I had 3 pieces of beautiful jewlry real gold, heavy with genuine tigers eye stone and diamonds along with a golden nugget ring with diamonds and just a ring I never liked in the first place. Now originally I wanted to take the stones out and make another piece of jewelry because these are sentimental to me. Now at assured pawn I was offered almost 800.00 for all three if I did not want the money I could get a ring valued at 1400. Now I wanted to see if I could get a better offer, well these men at this establishment Lincoln pawn offered me $400.00 for all 3 pieces of jewlry as if I was a smoker just trying to get a fix. Now I'm wondering how many other folks have this pawn shopndone this way. He had the nerve to ask if he could take the stone out and weight it. He'll naw they might have done a switch a roo on me. I message this location asking if i can put a firearm as collateral for a loan and the reply i got was YES. I stopped by this pawn show and when i arrived as im walking toward the door i was worried thinking i would get the loan denied. I walk inside looked around nice environment. The employee at the front desk greeted me. He explained everything to how the loan agreement works. The amount i wanted was approved. The employee was very helpful. So I needed a last minute gift for bae, and I'd been wanting to get him an impressive chain for a smaller frame. I saw the legit stuff online, and knowing the price of gold per gram, I wanted to buy smart, not overpriced. The selection was small, but I soon found out why. Their prices were fair and the workers were very nice. It was pretty busy for a morning, atleast 3 people in store right after opening. I kinda stood around looking at the men's jewelry, and they asked right away what I was in for. When I got a look at their selection, they informed me that they had more chains to process, and they would be ready Wednesday. Maybe I would like those better. After letting them know who it was for, and that I was a little anxious to wait, the nice guy behind the counter said to hold on, he was going to look at a chain I might like right now. I know they're busy, so this was awesome. He brought out the perfect chain from the back, and gave me an excellent price. I was so happy, the weight per gram was fair and the chain was in great condition. He said to come back in about 30 minutes so he could clean it and process it properly, so I paid my deposit and returned later that day for pick up. I walked out spending almost half of what I had been expecting, and I got a beautiful chain in solid 14k gold, not hollow or plated. I'm always concerned with being sold a hollow piece, because it's happened to me before, and I returned it unsatisfied. Not here, I was told details that helped me make an informed decision. After a bad telephone experience at Imperial Pawnbrokers (for which I wrote a review and should be read if considering to buy, sell, or pawn) and was told the items I wanted to borrow against (in not so many words) were not worth anything to them for a pawn loan I decided to check the reviews for Lincoln Pawn Shop. I am glad I did. The whole experience was perfectly painless and non-condescending. At no time was I told that the items I had brought had no value. They were honest, fair, and reasonable. The whole process was very fast and took about ten, no more than fifteen minutes and I walked out with a 3-digit cash loan in hand. The following is a more detailed account of my experience. I have done pawn loans a lot in my time but not in the last few years, so I was unsure if the process had changed since my last loan. Based on my experiences - it didn't matter what pawn shop I went to there was always one condescending person who wanted to lowball all of my collateral regardless of what it was. I mean, some one who would be willing to loan money against a 70s Fender Stratocaster over a newer G & L Comanche (or comparable guitar) just because of the "Fender" name. If you know guitars then that experience would mean something, if not, then read onto the next paragraph. I did a classic pawn loan. I brought with me more items than I thought I would need. Robert, the awesomely professional and fair gentleman that helped me, asked me what amount I was trying to get. I told him. He looked at all of my items. He proceeded to tell me ". . . with these [six] items alone I can loan you [X - amount]". It was a very reasonable quote on the following: Ibanez RG (black on black) electric guitar in a Carvin tweed case, a couple of electric guitar effects pedals (including a vintage Dunlop "Jimi Hendrix" Cry Baby), and two Jorg Gray (model 9800-12 & 9800-13) watches that work but have dead batteries. Next time I need to borrow cash in a pinch and have something of value, these guys are my new pawn shop! I know they will be fair, reasonable, and respectful of the things I bring in (like my father's coins or my wife's jewelry). I also checked out the merchandise they had for sale. There were several choice long guns and a few shotguns on the wall and an awesome, affordable selection of guitars and vintage amps. They had coins, tools, sporting goods, and watches. All the prices I saw were reasonable to begin with so I didn't ask how firm they were. But I will most definitely go back when I have some extra cash to get another guitar. read more

I remember going in the first time not knowing what I'd get for my 2 guitars. Yeah I know blah blah sell them on craigslist or eBay. But I just wanted to give them maybe a better chance than let them just sit at home. Might as well let them go quick also. In the beginning he gave me a deal on the two with which, I had to go think about. In the end, after hopping from different pawn shops I noticed the customer service was horrible. Yeah I know I'm not getting the price I want, but you don't have to be disgusted with what I wanted initially. So I returned today and the guy who had helped me before allowed me to keep the same deal + the fact that I brought in a 3rd guitar to offer.
