    Philly......I mean Chicago Cheesesteak.
    Steven M.

I ended up randomly walking into Lincoln Station on Saturday while walking around the neighborhood. Upon entering it appeared to be a typical sports bar style establishment covered in sports memorabilia with some TV's. The menu here has plenty of burgers, sandwiches, and appetizers to keep anyone satisfied, but it also features a full menu of baked potatoes filled with different things which is pretty cool. When I walked in I saw someone eating a Philly cheesesteak and knew I needed to follow suit. The food didn't take all that long to come out and when it did it was worth the wait. The Philly cheesesteak was delicious! The meat itself was flavourful, covered in cheese, and lived up to its name and bread was soft but not soggy which is just the way I liked it. The staff was friendly, the establishment was clean (and even had Buffalo Bills banners hanging up, A+ for that), and the food was way better then I expected. If you are in Lincoln Park in need of some solid food, give this place a try!

I only went for mid-day drinks, but I really enjoyed my time at Lincoln Station. The Lebatt Blue pints are very well priced and the ambiance was good. I was here with a larger group and they had no issue with putting a few tables together to accommodate us. A nice, no-frills, price-conscious spot. Go Bills.

Based on the crowd, music and overall vibe, I enjoyed my time hanging at the bar killing time. A huge win for me was they had Michigan's Greenbush Brewery's Shotgun Chicken on tap! I mean it's one thing to find it let alone on tap. Very, very cool however it was disappointing to hear it's not a big seller. Seriously?!! In regards to the food, i can't speak on it. I only had time for 2 beers. The staff was friendly and parking is tricky around here so if you find a spot consider it a great day!!!

Always a great time at Lincoln Station! This place is a good casual sports bar for hanging out with friends, and playing darts and pool. They usually have a beer special for $5. As someone else correctly mentioned, you get a free chips and salsa for the table the first time you check in on Yelp, as long as you also purchase a pitcher of beer. Was pleased to find that they had all kinds of Mardi Gras specials this weekend. $3 beers and a bunch of other options. Last night, the Sazerac was only $6 and it was excellent! Will be back soon.

I've been to Lincoln station twice now. The last time was a Thursday and it was pretty cold. I was frantically searching for a bar that still had an open kitchen. Lincoln station came through!! Got some poutine and some wings! 2 to 3 beers. One was a stout the other was a porter. Was pleased with the quality of the food and the service of the bartender. The night I was here was the night of the Mason Rudolph altercation Thursday night football. The other time was like some months ago. Baylor was playing Syracuse in hoops. Didn't have anywhere to watch and it turned out some Syracuse folks had gathered to watch the game. Sports is communal and also tribal. There's something worthwhile to watching a game with others. Even if they're strangers.

Great joint to check out for drinks and loaded potatoes! They have daily food and drink specials. Perfect location in Lincoln Park. Bartenders and waiters all very nice. Highly recommend the "stuffed spuds." Good ships and salsa

We were going to see a show next door. A live podcast taping of, "Watch What Crappens" (google it if you like all things Bravo." We wanted something before the show and got here a little early. The bartender was super friendly and attentive. We did a $5 burger and hummus along with wine. I will say it was a good pour.

Make your own spud- practically a choose your own adventure! Went with a bunch of friends to the Founders Breakfast Stout Brunch. Fantastic 3 founders stouts, best being the Canadian Stout. Wow. Took a star off for the brunch- $10 for some French toast and potatoes. I'd say not worth it but I also didn't try it so don't want to bash it. I guess the idea of having $10 all you can eat brunch is probably worth it... AFTER I've had a few of my stouts. Ended up with make your own spud, and it was huge and great. Sweet potato with a bunch of insides. Worth it! Nothing classy but pretty great for bar food. Now the beers. Yes! Founders, you make awesome stouts! Canadian #1, Kentucky #2 and regular breakfast stout #3. Each of them worth it- for a 5oz of each, and definitely had a good buzz. Will for sure go back again for all of the above!

The worst service I've ever had. The waitress was extremely inattentive and mixed up our bills. The food was mediocre.

Every time I visit, the decor never ceases to impress. It's classy but unpretentious and you can tell folks are there to have a good time. We arrived at about 8:30pm on a Saturday and it was packed. Luckily, we were able to snag seats at a bar before a table opened up around 9pm. A note that they don't take reservations (but I kind of wish they did!), so this isn't the place to go if you're in a rush. They had a special seasonal menu going for the holiday, and we started with the reuben hush puppies. While they were more like croquettes, they were extra crispy, cheesy, and juicy with the most delicious thousand island dressing. I wish they would offer this year round! For mains, we ordered the corned beef and buddha bowl. I really liked the horseradish aioli that came with the beef- while the meat could've been more tender, it had a great flavor overall. The cabbage actually tasted pickled and the carrots sweet; non-traditional, but tasty! The buddha bowl had a very wide range of veggies and perfectly cooked rice. I could drink that spicy peanut sauce. I appreciated how large the portions were, which definitely softened the price as we left with plenty of leftovers. All in all, we had a great experience- if you haven't checked Wilde out, I highly recommend doing so!

(Kari's Rating 8/10)…read more Came in on a Friday night about 8 o'clock, and I didn't realize there was a basketball game tonight, so the bar was really packed with IU fans. I heard off this place from an Instagram video from a food blogger. There wasn't initially seating when we first got in, but the bartender/hostess helped us make a makeshift table. We also didn't have a chair so she had to go find a chair and she found one so really appreciate her hustle. The wings came out pretty quickly, the honey barbecue wings were really sweet, and came with a substantial amount of sauce. The ranch was impeccable. It was not too thin and came with celery. The birds nest hot sauce was relatively hot for a medium. I was definitely feeling the spice after two or three. I think there was a little too much sauce on the wings for me, personally, but overall very good. The volume is really loud because everyone was there for the game, so we kinda had to yell over each other to have a conversation. We got our check pretty quickly and the servers were really attentive. I would definitely come back if I was in the area, but I probably wouldn't come all the way from River North for this again.
