Delicious food with fun twists. So many places that sell tavern esque food are boring and mediocre. Not this one! The drinks were well made, the menu was hard to choose from because it all sounded so good, and everyone was happy.

Rustic establishment in South Boston, great for weekend brunch, make a rezy! Chloe was a fantastic server (5/5) and the dim (mood) lighting was intimate for a lunch time. Large pew style booth seating. I recommend the strawberry mojito (mocktail) and the fruity pebbles pancake. If you don't want to stack of pancakes, just get one on the side, it's large and delicious! It's perfect. I was not a fan of the Breakfast style wood fire pizza, the egg lacked flavor. The popcorn cauliflower is a new item and the hot honey sauce is good, but I've had better cauliflower dishes in the past.

I've been to Lincoln several times for dinner and night outs - it never disappoints. The atmosphere is lively and welcoming, perfect for Southie. I've had both the cheesesteak and the burger, and both were absolutely amazing and cooked perfectly. On my most recent visit, for the $1 oyster special and was genuinely surprised by how extensive the selection was. Great food, great value, and a consistently solid spot I'm always happy to return to.

We came to Lincoln Tavern during a quiet stretch, and it was actually kind of perfect -- no wait, no noise, just an easy, relaxed vibe. I had the breakfast pizza, and I really enjoyed it. My friend really enjoyed the hash browns and could not stop talking about them. We both got drinks (one cocktail, one mocktail), and they were solid -- simple, well-made, no notes. Staff was super friendly without being overbearing, and the space had that comfortable, laid-back feel that makes you want to hang out a while. Would 100% come back for a low-key brunch or an easy catch-up spot. Great food and good energy.

I came here for a last-minute birthday brunch on a late Saturday morning. The space is large, with deep booths that work well for both laid-back family meals and lively groups like ours. I don't think anyone else was taking tequila shots at 11am. But we were seated right away, and our server promptly brought over waters. The espresso martini and the Lavender Haze Spritz were both excellent. For food, our table ordered the crab cake Benedict, the egg BLT, the Sooo-Cal breakfast burrito con queso, the California omelet, and the Lincoln burger. Everything was tasty, but the clear standout was the burrito--everyone at the table had their eye on it! I did wish I'd tried one of the sweet dishes--they looked fun and creative. If I come back, I'd probably go for the stuffed lemon poppy seed pancakes or the Fruity Pebbles pancakes. Service was great overall, though there was one small hiccup: one dish came out noticeably later than the rest, so we all waited to start eating. Otherwise, it was a fantastic experience.

This place was great!! We stopped in for work and ordered a lot of different items. Everything was delicious. My favorite were the truffle fries, the white pizza, and the Boursin whipped potatoes... those were to die for. I wanted to like to goat cheese dip but I felt it didn't have enough goat cheese. The drinks were fun and they had a ton of options. I would definitely return!

Visited Boston before a cruise. In a pinch we needed to grab a bite to eat and wound up here at the Lincoln Tavern. I was pleasantly surprised how nice and efficient the staff was. The tavern gave off a warm vibe that will definitely pull me back in if I choose to visit the city again. Would recommend the pizza because it was so good.

I love this place - every time I'm here I'm low-key surprised how good the food is. Dinner or Brunch, you can't go wrong with great drinks and amaze food

Lincoln Tavern is a great spot to hit when you're in Southie! Very lively and has lots of seating. It was pretty packed when we went on a Sunday morning. They had lots of TVs, so definitely a good place to go to watch the game & grab something to eat! What we ordered: -Espresso martini -mushroom pizza -burrata pizza -sausage pizza -fruity pebbles pancakes -butterscotch doughnuts OMG! Totally didn't expect the pizzas to be so good! My favorite was the burrata pizza; comes with hot honey, burrata, arugula, & prosciutto. It's usually my go-to type of pizza to get & they made it amazing. The dough is perfection ;) The espresso martini... you see the foam? Yeah, you already know it was PHENOMENAL. Our server was sweet. She was quick and efficient, even with how busy it was in there. Parking: there is street parking & also a public lot across the street. Free parking on Sundays!

Food was pretty good and drinks were delicious. The portions were huge!! It is an adorable place with outdoor seating. Our server was very nice and helpful. We wanted to split the bill, but were not able to at the end. It wasn't a big deal, but make sure to tell your server before ordering.

Having been here before, but not in awhile we decided to pop in for couple drinks and pies! Of course it was slammed today but we got seated quickly. They have plenty of booths, and tables and of course plenty of screens so you can catch the game (today was eagles vs commanders!) I enjoyed all their pizzas, the dough they use is good and buttery / nice flavor. I chose the sausage and peppers pie, the lady got the burrata and both were great! My friend that got the doughnuts said they were "bussin!" Haha Service was quick, refills on drinks, pleasant and accommodating. No complaints from us here! Will be back!

Lincoln Tavern is a must go, especially on a Thursday! They have this $35 special where you get a drink (wine or lager), a decently sized appetizer and an entree. It was extremely worth it and tasted great as well. I got the calamari for appetizer, serving size was huge but could use a bit more crispiness. I also got the lobster fettuccini and it was amazing! There was a good amount of lobster as well. The vibe was also great, towards later in the night, they also had live music at the back, which was another great vibe. Service was good, waitress let us finish our apps before they start serving the entrees.

Went here for a bday. The food and service were pretty good and awesome mimosas! Everything came out pretty quick and there was 9 of us. Enjoyed everything and huge portions so worth the price!

Their menu online looked great and we were able to walk in with no reservations early on a Friday night, although they were starting to fill up more as we left. The crab cake was delish & my baby devoured most of it. The salmon salad was tasty but the salmon itself was very salty, salt was literally all I could taste. The lettuce was very crisp and fresh and everything else was good so I didn't feel the need to complain also with the consideration that the chef intended to make the salmon salty to pair with the rest of the dish. The vibe was nice, a bit elevated. My server Michael was great! I would definitely order the crab cake again and try many other items on the menu that all looked superb. Thanks Moxies!

We were seated immediately, the atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and Sarah, our waitress, was top-notch--friendly, helpful, and genuinely delightful. We started with the Maple Glazed Brussels Sprouts, which were so yummy. My daughter thoroughly enjoyed the Spicy Tuna Dynamite Roll and absolutely loved the Sticky Toffee Pudding for dessert. I had the Vegetarian Power Bowl, and it was one of those meals you remember long after the trip is over. Since Moxies was just a few steps from our hotel, we thought it would be the perfect place for lunch before heading back to Arizona. We were offered a table inside or on the second-floor patio, and we chose the patio. Maybe that was our mistake. From the moment we sat down, it felt like a completely different restaurant. The atmosphere was very casual, but unfortunately so was the service. Our waitress was forgetful, clueless, and at times borderline disrespectful. Our food arrived completely cold after apparently sitting for over 30 minutes, yet there was no acknowledgment of the delay--not even a simple apology. I honestly couldn't believe this was the same place we had raved about the night before. If I were reviewing only our dinner, this would be an easy 5 stars. But I can't ignore what happened the next day. Maybe we were just unlucky. Maybe the patio has a different rhythm than the dining room. I really don't know. I just wish our last memory before heading back to Arizona had been as wonderful as our first.

We went up to the hostess stand and were seated right away. Our server came by and was very friendly. However, as the night went on the service became quite slow. It took a lot of time for our food to come out and to get our to-go boxes as well. For a drink, I ordered the PINA-NO-LADA. It is basically a virgin pina colada. Very delicious and they added some nice cherries on top. For the food we shared: -CEVICHE: Great flavor and very fresh octopus. Went well with the tortilla chips it came with. -SHRIMP SCAMPI: The pasta was cooked perfectly as were the shrimp that were big and juicy. However, the sauce was overly acidic. There was way too much lemon in it. I do also wish they had more than just 4 shrimp on top of a $30 bowl of pasta. -BRUSSEL SPROUTS: Was good brussel sprouts. All in all, while the food was pretty good (with some hit or miss elements), it is such an expensive meal especially for the portion and service you are getting.

The sangria was okay and the crab rangoon dip was exactly what I expected, but the squid ink tagliatelle surprisingly impressed me. The course began with the charred octopus appetizer, which was easily one of the highlights of the night. The octopus had a beautifully crispy, charred exterior while remaining soft and juicy inside. It was coated in an aromatic, slightly sweet glaze that reminded me of balsamic, adding depth without overpowering the dish. The daikon brought a subtle sweetness with hints of soy and sugar that balanced everything nicely. The greens were slightly dry and a bit overcooked, but still a pleasant addition overall. Generous portion and very well executed. I also got to try the smoked fish croquettes which were another standout. Shaped almost like crispy potato balls, they had the perfect crunch on the outside and a creamy, soft filling inside. The fish flavor was light and delicate, not overly "fishy", making them incredibly enjoyable and well-balanced. For wine, I had an Austrian Grüner selection that was sweet and crisp, yet smooth. It paired beautifully with the octopus, enhancing the glaze and balancing the char. I had to get another glass of this after my entire meal. The prosciutto-wrapped cod was visually stunning - vibrant, colorful, and thoughtfully plated with fingerling potatoes, slices of chorizo, and a bright orange confit beneath the fish. While the presentation and portion size were great, this entrée fell a bit short in flavor. The cod itself was tender and juicy, but it needed some seasoning. The prosciutto created a slightly dry crust, and a steak knife was necessary to cut through it comfortably. The confit and vegetables leaned a little too tangy and overpowered the dish. I found the fingerlings ame chorizo to be slightly over-salted, and while the chorizo had good flavor, I felt that there were too many overpowering flavors coming through. Overall, this wasn't my favorite dish of the night, though the wine paired with it was excellent. Dessert completely redeemed the experience. The mascarpone berry cake was sweet, spongy, and moist with a warm center. It was topped with a citrusy vanilla whipped cream and fresh strawberries, which added brightness and balance. Absolutely delicious. The Moscato-like dessert wine - lightly bubbly, fruity, soft, and sweet - paired perfectly and elevated the cake even more. Overall, Provisions shines in its appetizers, wine pairings, and exceptional service (thank you, Katie!). While the cod entrée didn't quite meet my expectations, the experience as a whole was enjoyable and thoughtfully curated. Definitely worth a visit, especially if you appreciate well-executed small plates and expertly paired wines!
