To be honest, we had high hopes based on the reviews, but my family had a mediocre experience here. We arrived at 11:30am, they were not very busy, and we ordered closer to 11:45. Not only did it take an hour for our food (for 4 people) to come out, but our breakfast came out plates at a time, with about 15 minutes between the first plate being dropped off until we received the last plate. The morning before, we went to a different diner that was much busier, and we had our food within 15 minutes of ordering. I'm not sure what caused the delay here, but we were not entirely happy. I would say the server was not at fault here, but there was never an apology and when she came to check us out, she shrugged and said, "I brought everything out when it was ready." read more

Came here for late breakfast around 11:30am on a Monday and although the two of us were seated fairly quickly, it took almost an hour for our food to come out. That seemed to be the same for other tables as well. They have many tables inside and outside and enough staff to serve the tables, but the kitchen is extremely small and way understaffed. Way too long to get the food. The food itself was just ok. Nothing wrong with it, but nothing special either that would make me want to come back. Prices are reasonable, the portions are good and the place was clean. Granted, they were busy, as most of the tables were taken. However they need to revamp the kitchen to keep up. read more

Pros: Biscuits are delish Fruit cup is fresh Coffee is plentiful Cons: Crowded, so it's a bit hard to navigate to your table or to the restroom. We pulled looking for breakfast! Searching yelp this place had great reviews! We were prepared for a wait! The waitress told us 20 mins , but we're seated in 5! The waitress came over we asked for coffee! Coffee came right away, the bowl containing individual creamers were still on the table with half of the creamers being used! Since they are individually sealed I had no problem using them! The waitress came back asked our order never receiving a menu! Fast forward 10 minutes getting a menu placed our order! I got my orange juice and fruit cup and that's when we waited! For a hour we waited! Frustrated my husband left a $20 on the table and we left! First, I was unsure what to expect because the reviews were so mixed, but after dining here I would chalk any negativity up to someone expecting a "foodie" experience instead of a diner experience. I arrived with my young granddaughter and we were seated immediately and the waitress quickly made sure we had drinks. Coffee for me and hot chocolate with mini marshmallows for her and they were thoughtful enough to make sure her cup had a cover so she wasn't burned if she accidentally spilled her drink. She had the 222 and I had French toast with a side of sausage. The food came out quickly and was clearly freshly prepared and absolutely delicious. The pancakes were giant and fluffy. The scrambled eggs cooked perfectly and bacon nice and crispy while still having a good chew. My French toast slices were thick and flavorful and the sausage was delicious. This is a true diner experience, family run, and where you will be welcomed like family. The pricing was extremely reasonable. This restaurant is unpretentious and is exactly what it represents itself to be. If you are looking for a chain restaurant experience or a fine dining experience, this is not your place. But if you are craving good home cooked food at fair prices where everyone is welcomed and treated as family then go here! read more

Went to have breakfast at a restaurant recommended by a friend. It was not open yet, but lucky for us, we ended up at Linda's Diner. It was terrific. Linda and her husband are wonderful hosts. I gave it one star because our server was very sweet and so apologetic. Waited 35 min for a table ( was told 20 minutes) and we were greeted by our friendly waitress with coffee and water. After she took our order ( eggs , toast and bacon) we waited 45 minutes !!! Yes: 45 minutes for a small portion of eggs, greasy, tasteless bacon ( not sure how bacon has NO taste) and 2 small cardboard ( advertised " Johnny cakes") things.
