Linda's was really nice. It was the third diner we tried and the only one we could get into. They were very accommodating and really nice. We were a huge group. The food was super solid. It's classic dinner food and you really can't go wrong. The pancakes were delicious and classic. The eggs Benedict was super solid.

Typical greasy spoon atmosphere. Food is the type you know you're getting into: eggs, bacon and potatoes. Pros: Biscuits are delish Fruit cup is fresh Coffee is plentiful Cons: Crowded, so it's a bit hard to navigate to your table or to the restroom. Servers were understaffed so you could tell they were exhausted by 10 a.m. We liked it, I think it's still affiliated with Melgie's somehow. We would be back.

Amazing little diner! The service was great and food hit the greasy diner brunch spot. Didn't have to wait at all on Sunday at 11:30, we were literally shocked when our food came out in like 5 mins!! Highly recommend!

First, I was unsure what to expect because the reviews were so mixed, but after dining here I would chalk any negativity up to someone expecting a "foodie" experience instead of a diner experience. I arrived with my young granddaughter and we were seated immediately and the waitress quickly made sure we had drinks. Coffee for me and hot chocolate with mini marshmallows for her and they were thoughtful enough to make sure her cup had a cover so she wasn't burned if she accidentally spilled her drink. She had the 222 and I had French toast with a side of sausage. The food came out quickly and was clearly freshly prepared and absolutely delicious. The pancakes were giant and fluffy. The scrambled eggs cooked perfectly and bacon nice and crispy while still having a good chew. My French toast slices were thick and flavorful and the sausage was delicious. This is a true diner experience, family run, and where you will be welcomed like family. The pricing was extremely reasonable. This restaurant is unpretentious and is exactly what it represents itself to be. If you are looking for a chain restaurant experience or a fine dining experience, this is not your place. But if you are craving good home cooked food at fair prices where everyone is welcomed and treated as family then go here!

Everything on the menu looked good. I ordered the Vermont burger, with candied bacon, and onion rings on the side, and it was delicious. My husband got a Philly steak Benedict, from the specials menu, and liked it. We also got a side of cornbread which was very good. My mom ordered the chicken and avocado sandwich, which was my second choice off the menu, but I'm glad I didn't order it, it wasn't quite as tasty as the burger IMO. When we left we struggled to move the tables, as my aunt has a walker, and I did feel like the staff should've helped us with that. Other than that, waitservice was fast and friendly.

First look at the menu, you start drooling, so many great options. Since I was with my girlfriend (who has Alpha Gal and is allergic to red meat) I try not to eat red meat when we go out. They were happy to substitute the ham for avocado on my eggs Benedict. The eggs Benedict were cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. The hash browns for me were a little under seasoned. However next to the salt and pepper they had some hot sauce, a little addition of all three of those and the hash browns were great! They have many different coffee flavor options, service was great. While they were busy they let us know that, and apologized for the delays. We were not in a hurry and will be back again the next time we are in the area.

What I mean by that is this place could be pricey but if you search and connect specials you can have a great time and not break the bank! Fabulous. ($20) My wife ordered the sword fish that was off the hook!! A beautiful bottle of Chilean Merlot $30... it was divine. Look at the view!! Nick, our waiter was excellent. Okay - that's fine. We said we'd put them in the car. As we arrive they proceed to say we canceled your reservation and now it's a 2 hour wait. We've dined at coast guard a plentiful of times and this was the first time we experienced this type of animosity from the general manager. (With our dogs as well). I understand it's peak summer, but to accuse me of stool and expect me to pick it up (amongst the many dogs already there) and then punish me off or a baseless accusation was the last thing I expected.
