    Corn beef hash
    Barbara B.

Great breakfast! My breakfast burrito was stuffed with hash browns, onions and a savory sauce. With the side of black beans it was enough for two meals! My husband ordered the corn beef hash and he gave it a thumbs up. The second cup of coffee was much better than the first. Andrea was a friendly waitress. We will make this a regular stop.

Grilled Homemade Biscuit (request they grill it you're in for a treat!), tasty home fires (not bland like most of New England's breakfast potatoes and the best incredible homemade hash ever in my opinion. Service is genuine, sincere and attentive. Ambiance nothing fancy just clean and simple breakfast nook. Been coming here for years and never had a negative experience.

I love place like the Bluebird. You've got people killing themselves to open restaurants in interesting places with interesting themes and they come in and go out all the time. Here's a group of people who said, "Strip mall? No problem. Small place? No Problem. We're just going to crush it with food and nothing else will matter." And they do! All the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The tables were not crowded in. Coffee? Spot on. We had three different meals, each of which were great. "The Best Ever" is over rated on YELP but I've have had Huevos Rancheros all over the country and I've never had any better than The Bluebird's!

My husband and I went here for brunch today, we are in the area for a wedding this week. I saw on Yelp it's listed as Cajun food which was intriguing to me, as I know he really enjoys that type of food. I am not a big breakfast person so I got a side order of toast and ham. The toast was great, the ham was a little too grilled for my liking. We also split an order of the fried green tomatoes, which was another reason I wanted to come to this cafe, because that's one of my favorite dishes and I feel like it's hard to find sometimes. The tomatoes were great and it came with a semi-spicy dipping sauce, I think it might have horseradish or something in it. My husband ordered the special of the day, the crawfish roll, and really liked it. It comes with a side and he chose to upgrade it to sweet potato fries, which were very good. Service was fast and friendly as well. I would return when in the area, their pancakes and other breakfast stuff also looked very good and they also have lunch things like sandwiches.

Cute small cafe with a fun and diverse atmosphere that is so fun and welcoming! Impeccable service from all of the ladies on the floor and the food is sooo good! I had a vanilla chai latte and their French toast and it was so good it reminded me of some of the bread from New Orleans. Stop by if you're in the neighborhood!

It's been again quite some time (7 years!) since we visited Bluebird, but my hat's off to them for maintaining a high quality and standard for food service! We happened to be in the area, it was closing in on lunchtime, so we decided to visit for old time's sake - and were we happy with the decision. I had a breakfast (ok, brunch) special: two eggs (any way) with jambalaya hash and home fries; my wife had their fried catfish po' boy (I just realized that this particular meal had a def whiff of Louisiana ...). The jambalaya hash was excellent, flavorful, with tasty bites of sausage. (I assume that the chef was probably re-purposing leftover jambalaya from a previous menu, but fried up as a hash was brilliant!) My wife reported that her po' boy was also very good, nicely fried fresh fish fillet, and well-seasoned. All in all a happy and tasty reunion!

Best corn beef has ever!! Tim can't quit raving about it! And love the Heuvos rancheros. Yellow grits to die for! Great staff, too!!

Everything on the menu looked good. I ordered the Vermont burger, with candied bacon, and onion rings on the side, and it was delicious. My husband got a Philly steak Benedict, from the specials menu, and liked it. We also got a side of cornbread which was very good. My mom ordered the chicken and avocado sandwich, which was my second choice off the menu, but I'm glad I didn't order it, it wasn't quite as tasty as the burger IMO. When we left we struggled to move the tables, as my aunt has a walker, and I did feel like the staff should've helped us with that. Other than that, waitservice was fast and friendly.

First look at the menu, you start drooling, so many great options. Since I was with my girlfriend (who has Alpha Gal and is allergic to red meat) I try not to eat red meat when we go out. They were happy to substitute the ham for avocado on my eggs Benedict. The eggs Benedict were cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. The hash browns for me were a little under seasoned. However next to the salt and pepper they had some hot sauce, a little addition of all three of those and the hash browns were great! They have many different coffee flavor options, service was great. While they were busy they let us know that, and apologized for the delays. We were not in a hurry and will be back again the next time we are in the area.

What I mean by that is this place could be pricey but if you search and connect specials you can have a great time and not break the bank! We ordered the stuffies, that were fantastic--and the shrimp cocktail that were huge (6) and delicious! $25 I ordered the lobster tamale...a corn sheath stuffed with corn meal and LOBSTER swimming in a delicious broth! Fabulous. ($20) My wife ordered the sword fish that was off the hook!! A beautiful bottle of Chilean Merlot $30... it was divine. Look at the view!! Nick, our waiter was excellent. I remember there being a patio overlooking the ocean, giving incredible views while eating dinner. That part has not changed. We got a table partly shaded, partly sunny. To start, we ordered the Firefly Mule ($15.00) which had Velo Butterfly Vodka, Guava Puree, Lime Juice, Ginger Beer. The first sip was good, but it somehow got progressively worse. I will say the guava puree was delicious, I wish there was more of it. We shared 4 cocktail shrimp and they were a bit firmer/dense, so maybe slightly overcooked. We ordered a Lychee Martini ($15.00) which has Grey Goose Vodka, Lychee Juice, Lemon, Simple Syrup Joto 'The Blue One' Junmai Nigori Sake. The start was okay, but the ending was terrible, almost like sipping rubbing alcohol. In hindsight, we would've swapped grey goose for a better vodka. We did ask for more simple syrup to try to balance out the bitterness but there was no remedy. For our entrees, we had the Linguine & Clams ($29.00) with Native little neck clams, fresh herbs, garlic white wine butter sauce and the Sunset Farm Burger ($24.00) 1/2 local ground beef, 1/2 ground bacon, crispy onion strings, arugula, cheddar, garlic aioli & sunny side up farm egg, brioche bun. I did upgrade my fries to truffle your fries for +$3.00 and it was the best decision I made. The plates looked spectacular. The burger patty didn't look too impressive, but everything on the burger all together looked amazing. The egg was cooked to perfection, the bun was slightly grilled, the cheese was melted well, and the arugula looked fresh. I wish it did come with more crispy onions and more garlic aioli. I think tomato would've gone well too. I could actually taste the bacon in the patty, but I wish it were in the form of crispy strips instead for a saltier finish. The fries were crispy, packed with truffle oil and parmesan cheese, and crispy; no complaints. The linguine and clams was decent. I am not the biggest fan of clams but these tasted fresh. The garlic white wine butter sauce was simple, good, and taste just as the name implies - a combination of all three ingredients. Our waiter was good to us; very charismatic and attentive.
