Linda is soooo sweet, kind, and really fun to talk to!!! I went to her studio after looking for "Asian hair" specialists in the bay area, and I'm super happy I did! Her studio is also only 10 mins away from where I live~ Appointments are super easy to book online, and Linda even personally offered an earlier appointment time slot for me when it opened up! I moved from Seattle WA, where I did my last balayage in 2023. The balayage was too red/orange/warm to my liking, and Linda explained everything in detail on how I can to achieve the look I wanted, which was a muted cool brown balayage. Since I booked a balayage + haircut, the process took around 4.5 hours altogether including the final styling. She offered drinks while we waited for the application to sit. I brought my laptop to work for a little bit and snacks to eat while she did my hair. She's super knowledgable about all things Asian hair, including the balayage post-maintenance and refresh appointments, which was not explained to me before at my previous balayage hair-do at another salon. Over the years, I've gone through different phases with my hair--from wanting to go lighter to now being in my low-maintenance phase but still wanting some dimension and color. Linda has a sweet and easygoing persona which is why I had been a customer of hers for a very long time. However, that time also allowed me to slowly realize that I had mistrusted her expertise and integrity. She recommended bleaching and color treatment despite her previous treatment has caused irreversible damage to my hair. I have since spent months trying to redo the damage she has done. My hair was damaged to the point where I had to get toner redone every 4-5 weeks just so it didn't have an orange sheen to it. Even at that point she still recommended more highlights to me. Often times after a hair appointment I left her salon with wet roots because she didn't care to spend enough time or care to fully dry it (most places offer a blowout after an appointment). I brushed all of that to her being busy and tired, till I realized that she was only after the money. I thought to leave this review after talking to some of her other previous customers that also left her, we had very similar experience and results. There is no way for me to get my time or money back but hopefully this review helps others. read more

Linda is truly sooo talented. I went to her a year ago to help me fix up my previous color and she did an amazing job. The thing I really appreciate is that when she does your hair it'll still look good in 6 months. I recently came back to get my color fixed again (after going DIY copper lol) and I'm convinced she's magic!! I had layers of box dye and a DIY hair cut. My hair had been bleached and developed multiple times at home. It was looking like a wreck all because I wanted to save a little money on hair! She carefully listened to the hair colors I was interested in, reviewed photos with me, and brought out her colors to show what would be realistic and healthy for my hair on this first process. We also went through a brief color analysis to find the right shade - more on the ashy side for me. I was so happy with the process! This was easily my favorite color of highlights I've ever received. Linda also uses Milbon hair products, which smell and feel soft and light.
