Excellent place for bread bowls, sandwiches and dessert. I tend to always get the turkey cranberry on sourdough, I order it with cream cheese and a cup.of chicken asparagus soup. The soups are always delicious! The service is fast and friendly. These ladies sure to work hard and fast.with no skimp on service. They also serve a homemade sweet tea with zero calories that you would never expect to be zero.calories, and a points menu for when you feel like a little less lunch. I always forget they are open Saturdays, its great to have a yummy healthy place to eat in town especially if your looking for a light meal or a huge sandwich to fill you up. read more

Nice change from fast-food. Seating is limited, and always busy. They do have some tables outside. Price is a little high for sandwiches, but worth it on occasion. read more

I recently went on a camping trip with my church and my friend and I remembered the delicious and welcoming place we had eaten at the year before. Linda's Soup Cafe! We hyped it up with the rest of the group and soon everyone was excited to go to Linda's. Let me tell you, they did not disappoint! The chicken noodle soup and garlic bread that I ordered was to die for after a six hour car ride. Such a pleasant experience that I had to share it. The entire car ride home to San Diego in Southern California there were constant mentions of Linda's, and you should know that even though Linda's Soup Cafe is at the very top of California, there are people way down at the bottom of California talking about it. read more

I stopped in for the daily special of BBQ pulled pork sandwich, and it was so delicious. I hardly ever treat myself but decided to swing through after shopping. Ladies were kind of unfriendly there's ALOT to choose from which is nice but you have to stand at the counter to order so you really can't take your time, so I felt a little rushed and uncomfortable but the sandwich I got was yummy, they don't use red onions which are my fav so that's a bummer but I guess I would go back there isn't much in yreka. read more

It didn't seem there were a lot of places for lunch in Yreka, in fact we stumbled upon this place while trying to find parking for Carl's Jr. The menu for this place is massive, and there were so many options it was almost overwhelming. There's something here to please everyone, from a large variety of wraps, sandwiches, soups, salads, and Mexican dishes. They even have coffee, blended drinks, Italian sodas, milkshakes, ice cream, etc. The staff members were beyond helpful and friendly, and thankfully very patient with us first timers trying to navigate giant menu. The food was light and delicious. My chicken salad was good, and the vegetarian pea soup was amazing, especially with the fresh garlic bread. If I'm ever in Yreka again, I'm definitely coming back. read more

Good soups and ice cream! Was very happy to find a place in this sleepy town that serves Gyros, which were decent and what you'd expect from a tiny lunch cafe. My wife and I stopped in for lunch while passing through town. We like to try local spots, although you never know what you will get. Location and decor weren't great. It wasn't very roomy. We travel from LA to Eugene at least once per year. Always stop here for lunch. There aren't many places near the I-5 where you can get a nutritious meal quickly for a great price. Always a great selection of good tasting soups plus many types of sandwiches. And the staff is remarkably friendly. If you're near here during the day do yourself a favor and stop in. If you have kids that like that awful fast food crap there is a Carl's in the same parking lot. read more
