Recently I had my car serviced here. Making appointment was ok I had mentioned that I also had a bday coupon for a complimentary car wash. At first my advisor J. Gardner was giving me the run around on how to get my car wash done. I had to email a few people and eventually it was handled well. On the day of my appointment, my advisor J.G was great. He informed me throughout the time i was there. They have a small waiting area. However you have access to free waters and sodas... lots of Dr. Pepper! I love how transparent they are. For the first 2 1/2 almost 3 weeks after my driver side front panel was hit, i was under the impression my car was being worked on, turns out they didn't even know my car had been sitting on their lot for all that time. I had to call 3 different police stations, the first time the dispatcher called she was told they didn't have any whan the Manassas police called all of sudden my car appeared. Because of their lack of attention to what goes on at their location I ran out of rental car MONEY and was looked at like it's not their problem. My insurance dished out well over 10 grand for my car to be fixed only for it to be returned three different times due to things not being fixed or fit correctly. I was allowed to drive away with my 3 yr old in the car that noticeably had the drivers side wheel scraping the wheel well. Upon bringing it back to be fixed, they looked at me like I was stupid and couldn't possibly being telling to truth. Needless to say if you can go somewhere else do it. I had to fight tooth and nail for them to fix my car and my accident happened at the end of May, were now at the end of August and I still do not have my car back, they look at and treat women look were stupid and don't know anything. So Lindsay fixed my car 6 months ago, and it was perfect. Now I have a front collision detector light that comes on. I emailed Colby, who emails me back in 5 minutes, saying Carlos will call me in 5 minutes. Carlos calls me in 4 minutes. I tell him what the issue is, and he says ,bring me the car, we will take care of it. Normally you would get, hey its 6 months later, too bad. Not with these guys, they are amazing. I brought the car in, they got me a rental car, and they fixed the problem within a few days. Colby is the top guy, and he runs outside, when I was picking the car up, and asks if its all good, and greets me like he's know me for years. Carlos goes over the car with me ,and you can see his concern for me, as well as the car, as he takes his time, and is happy that it all worked out great. Thats top down leadership. If you have any need for a collision center, you must go here. Their service and quality are unmatched. If your in the service industry, we all need to take a lesson from these guys on how to treat clients, and make a normally uneasy process go seamless Oh, and by the way, you could eat off the floors in this place, talk about clean. OMG! I had a minor fender bender. I just gone home from picking up my beautiful car! Besides fixing my fender, they washed my car, put tire black on my tires and vacuumed my car!!! (It had alot of dog hair since i take the dogs to the dog park everyday!). I was totally blown away! The fender btw, looked awesome! If I need their Services i will go back, though I hope I don't need it! Btw, this place is further for me than one near my house, but the closer shop didn't fix an issue and so now the door leaks. read more

I've had 2 excellent experiences with this place. I mean, I would rather have experienced their great service under different circumstances since both times were due to car accidents but dealing with them was super easy and they did a great job. The first accident they ended up doing the repair for me on my car and turn around time was quick and it looked great...second time the car ended up being a total loss but both times I had to deal with them they were great. I want to mention that Adriana at the front desk is excellent. I recently got into a minor car accident and brought my car to Lindsay's since it was one of the repair shops for my insurance. They also had more convenient hours for me than other locations. It was simple enough to drop off my car and rent a car from Enterprise who had an office there as well. The staff was friendly and gave me all the information I needed. It took them a couple weeks, but my car was fixed nicely :) I did have to reach out to them a few times to get a progress update on my car and to extend my rental, but I liked how I could do both at the same location and didn't have to go through multiple people. read more

Lindsay Collision Center lost my vehicle for six days. The receptionist called and told me they had my vehicle on a Friday. The insurance adjuster was supposed to look at it Monday morning so I called Lindsay Collision Center Monday afternoon and they told me the adjuster had to reschedule for the next morning. I called Tuesday afternoon and the same thing, they told me the insurance adjuster had to reschedule. i called my insurance and got in touch with the adjuster, the adjuster had to reschedule because Lindsay Collision Center could not find my vehicle. The receptionist just assumed they had my vehicle because they had the keys. At no point did Lindsay Collision tell me they could not lost my vehicle! For 6 days they said they looked for it. They finally found it on one of their new car lot dealership. Then instead of towing it to Lindsay Collision Center because it was filed as undriveable they informed me that they did not want to wait for a tow truck so they drove it! Their manage also informed me that once a vehicle is dropped off there is absolutely no paperwork stating they have received the vehicle. They just assume there is a vehicle to go with the key. Then the manager told me he hopes Ill be in the area because my car will be there for a long time, not even knowing what was wrong with it! Avoid Lindsay Collision at all costs! read more

I just picked up my Honda Civic from Lindsay's. A lady rear ended my car at a stop light. Her insurance company was paying, so I didn't care about the price, I only cared about the quality of the results. My car looks perfect! Just like like before the accident. Lindsay asked me if I had any questions and told me how to care for the paint job while it cures. It took 3 days but Enterprise rent a car was in the same office. Customer service was terrific. Quality of work is outstanding. They washed my car and detailed the tires also. Enterprise was great also. I hope I don't have to go there in the future, but if I need to, I'll be back. Best customer service ever? Well it's definitely the best customer service experience I have had in recent memory. I recently made the bonehead mistake of crushing my right drivers's side door on my 2014 Ford Edge. A few months back, my wife had had a similar incident with her 2007 Altima. We had taken it to our local Fairfax body shop with some pretty good results, though it kind of felt like it cost a bit more than it should have. They also kept my car for over a week, which was 4 days longer than what they had told me. None the less, I had heard of Lindsay Collision Manassas from a friend of mine. "Dude, these guys are the best. Get your car fixed there and ask for Colby." I decided to take the extra 15 minute drive to go and talk to them. When I walked in the first thing I thought was "this is a body shop?". It felt more like a hotel lobby (slight exaggeration but it was nice). There was a lounge, big screen TV and full coffee bar. I was greeted by Julia who was super nice and had me sit and fill out my paperwork. When I was done with that, Coby came out and and introduced himself. Really friendly dude. He asked if I could show him to my car so he could see the damage. Colby took a good look at the car and gave me some options. I was kind of surprised I had options. There were some small things like a scratches on the plastic that he told me that it was optional if I wanted to fix those. Most of them just looked like regular wear and tear so he said it would save me some money if I decided to leave those. After we talked he escorted me to the lounge and he went to put my estimate together. While I was waiting, I was greeted by another customer service agent, her name was Amanda, I think. She asked how everything was going and if there was anything she could do. I told her that it looks like I'll need a rental car and if I could start the paperwork now. She introduced me to another guy who set me up with my Enterprise rental. Again, this guy was really cool and he found a rental that fit my budget. And there was no pressure for an "upgrade" either, which I appreciated. Colby came back with the estimate about 15 minutes later, and guess what? The estimate was cheaper than what we had paid for my wife's car (her car was worse btw). He said he could have it done in 3 days too. Count it! After that I was on my way. Not only did I get my car back on time (I was heading out of town that weekend) but they had cleaned and I think waxed (maybe not waxed) the car. It seriously looked brand new. Not just the part they fixed, but the whole thing. I was really impressed. The previous bodyshop had not done that. Colby handed me my keys and I was pretty much off. They have done some things incredible right, and others not so much but I am going back to get the job done right, again. It must be an issue of quality control and inspection. And I find more things; some that should have been done correctly which I might not normally see (working electric windows on the passenger side and the electrical cover under the passenger seat, as examples) not done either by intent/commission or laziness/omission. I've dealt with their predecessors Browning and Browns Automotive both of whom had these issues and would not have been back for this event (thanks for lifetime warranties) had their efforts been done correctly and not rusted out the car roof. It took time to get it done and then to redo by replacing the entire roof again in a three week interval. So far, they have been fully cooperative in getting it right to their credit and easy to deal with. Other than this posting I have not taken it to the next level and raised Cain with my insurance carrier - USAA. Note that for one lone pine tree landing on the roof if this car, about $10k more than the original cost of this VW has been spent by the insurance company. Hummpf. read more

My wife was also involved in a minor parking lot collision a couple of years ago, and Lindsay Collision of Alexandria repaired her car to perfection. I remember feeling very impressed with their service, so I definitely remembered this when dealing with my accident one month ago. Lindsay Collision of Manassas is located in close proximity to my job, so that's why I chose them. The overall process was stress-free and quick; had they not been held up waiting for a special part order, they would have certainly been finished with my vehicle the next day. One issue that they gladly rectified was that during my ride home in my newly repaired car, the windshield molding came loose and flew off they fixed this for me and explained that the clips must have broken off during removal. A brand new replacement was ordered and they installed it because they stand behind their work! I have zero complaints and if I were asked to fill out a survey, they'd receive 100% from me! read more

My car was damaged in the front, minor damages. Car was fixed and it looked alright, but it wasn't that great. Drove in with a completely fine tires. When I picked it up a week later. Tire was left flat and the car was in the bay. I was told to drive it out of the Bay Area, which was unprofessional. When cars are serviced they should be left outside parked and ready, not with a flat tire and inside. They could of at least told me before I drove on my side wall and could of damaged my rims. But no that said f* it and left it likes that. I heard bad things about them but I decided to take it there to see how it is. After going throw them I am going to warn everyone not to go there. I have a 2021 Volkswagen ID.4 All Electric "1ST Addition", and was in an accident that crunched the right front hood, headlights and the right side of the vehicle. I was so upset and thought the vehicle would never be right again. I was mistaken, thanks to Colby Wood at the Lindsay Collision Center and his team of experts, they returned it to me good as new with no mechanical or electrical problems and the body work was exceptional. My insurance company had first sent it to another popular auto body shop. After they spent five days assessing the damage and the intricacies of the electrical system, they had no experts familiar with the new ID.4 EV and suggested that I look for a shop with EV experience. Very happy with Lindsay & State Farm. I went to this Lindsay collision shop due to the fact that they had a SF (State Farm) estimator on location on Saturday. I entered the shop & was immediately greated by a very nice lady behind the front counter named Jaclyn who explained what the estimate entailed. After a couple of minutes of waiting and drinking the very nice Starbucks Coffee, they pulled my F-150 around and started on the estimate. had my 2018 jeep wrangler rear ended and brought it to this guy's recommended by my own insurance (geico) after a week this guys messed up my new jeep JL, first attempt they did a sloppy job, they replaced rear gate, paint all messed up, wires sticking out not being secured, so obviously i didn't take the jeep that day, second attempt, after i pointed all their mistakes i though they would fix the issues, well ... no! paint was pretty much the same way like before and wires were cut to tuck it in so they don't have to remove the spare tire carrier REALLY? well after that oscar their manager took over and the 3rd attempt did fix the paint but wires were cut and just taped i was already done dealing with this guys and left all this behind but today that i was cleaning the jeep and the mess they left behind... we'll there was a trim cap missing from the repairs they did WHO THE HELL DO QUALITY CONTROL THERE???? dammit my jeep is a 54K vehicle! after an accident i'm expecting they do a good work!!! definitely not going back to this place me and my buddies would have done a better job then this guys! I dropped off my vehicle for a small repair, this week. I dealt with Amanda and she was nothing short of friendly and professional. They had the repair done, in exactly the time they estimated and when I went to pick it up, not only was the repair flawless, but they detailed the vehicle, inside and out. I was in the automotive industry for 25 years (car electronics) and have done paint and body work. I've built limousines and built world class, competitive show vehicles and have an eye for detail. I pride myself on being able to point out flaws in paint and body work. For a while, I was a foreman for a used car dealership and would have to look for flaws on vehicles, when they came in, from auction or trade ins. I've looked at their repair, NUMEROUS times and cannot see where it was repaired. This shop is top notch, from the smiling faces that greet you, to the folks, behind the scenes, making the repairs. I hope not to ever be involved in another accident, but if I am, there is no doubt, I'll be going back to see Amanda and the rest of the team at Lindsay Collision. read more

I drive for Uber, so my car is my source of income. I was rear-ended one night and Uber denied the use of my vehicle until the repairs were effected. Took my car to Lindsay on July 10 to get an estimate for the damage. The other party's insurance - USAA - was going to cover the repairs. Lindsay sent the estimate to USAA electronically and told me I would be notified when the repairs had been approved and I could bring the car in to be repaired. After hearing nothing for a week, on July 17 I called USAA to find out the status of the claim. USAA was confused, because according to them the claim had been immediately approved and Lindsay had been electronically notified (also on July 10) to this fact. Lindsay never contacted me. Their receptionist had no answer when I asked how long were they planning on making me wait for repairs. I am now contemplating a lawsuit against Lindsay for lost income due to their negligence. read more

only giving these guys a 1 star because there isn't an option for 0 stars. They "repaired" my car after an accident. I went to pick it up and the bumper they painted my bumper a completely different color and then argued with me that it "was like that when it was brought in" After showing them pictured that it wasn't they argued and said that a phone camera "isn't going to pick up the difference" and pulls out his phone and snaps a picture and sees that it will... Also they replaced a black plastic piece on my car the old one was matte textured black finish and the new one was shinny and smooth black which didn't match any of the rest of the car. The manager tells me that the proper part is no longer available and discontinued. Not knowing I had already called the dealership across the street from there and the said they have both versions in stock. Bottom line my car was there for 2 weeks, they didn't want to fix their mistakes, and they refuse to fix what is clearly their fault and now ive had to take it somewhere else. DO NOT USE THESE GUYS!! Even if you insurance company tells you to take it here, tell them no and take it somewhere else. Doug the manager there will try to talk down to you, and they are all clueless. I would have done the repair myself had insurance not been covering the cost. read more

Went here based on the 4 stars it had here on yelp after our Jeep Wrangler was rear ended. The other person's insurance was paying so all we cared about was quality over price. I should've paid attention to the handful of reviews here that stated that the quality of their work was poor. 9 weeks after the accident and 5 visits later the work is finally "done" and we're dissatisfied to say the least. They had returned the vehicle to us at 8 weeks after the accident and after 4 visits and it looked only marginally better than it did before taking into the shop. They blamed their lack of quality control on "poor lighting". Imagine going to your doctor for a broken leg, have the doctor do absolutely nothing and then blame it on poor lighting. The vehicle was still in serious need of work but they tried to pass it off as "done". Communication was lacking too. Out of 12 different occasions when they said they would call us back with information about our vehicle, they called back 0 times. We always had to call and call and hope we'd catch them. Usually our guy had "just walked out" and we "just missed him". The only positive thing I could say is that the stafall very polite even when being called out on their incompetence. However, that doesn't make up for their lack of professionalism. However, the manager does seem to have a moral compass. Upon hearing about our experience he called us to offer an explanation, an apology, and a partial reimbursement of the costs. read more
