Bon Bon's chocolates are so freshly made and perfect! Nice update is .. there were friendly young helpers making it a pleasant experience again. Very efficient and great with boxing.

Maybe 3 stars but I'm being extremely generous. This is a cute store on Main Street in Huntington Village Long Island but it's not even close (in chocolate terms) to Godiva or Lindt so don't get excited. The dark chocolate was just average and the service is horrible. They basically ignored us but we entertained ourselves with the Valentine's Day merchandise. Someone call the owner and get this place some personality!! Geez

I have to say this is my place to go when I want chocolate, when I feel like taking a walk around town, when I need to get a very special present for a dear friend or family member, even when I want to decorate my home for the season, or when I want to get ingredients for delicious brownies or cookies! Bon Bons Chocolatier has many well thought and beautifully designed toys, books, household gadgets and snacks. the people who attend at the front desk are polite and always helpful, they also know how to wrap presents well. The owner and her assistant are exceptional when selecting the merchandise for this lovely store. When I go to Bon Bons Chocolatier I feel happy and eager to eat their delicious chocolates. I feel at home. I give this place a 10!

It does not even matter how cute the store is. The workers are disgustingly, rude, especially one woman with a cold sore behind the counter.

Why go here when Kilwin's is right down the block? Nasty and rude and no better than any other chocolate. Kilwins is the place to GO!

Still my favorite chocolate. Despite having lived out of New York for over 10 years, I make my family mail me some for every holiday!

I literally bought one mini baguette, took a bite outside the store and walked right back in for 4 more. It is THAT good. The texture and flavor was simply perfect, and having to warmed with a schemer cutter was heavenly. Now it's important to note that I live at least 30 minutes away, and returned 3x since my first visit to try their breads. TBH, it doesn't even matter what you get! They are ALL the BEST versions of whatever bread it is! I literally walked out today with 6 loaves of bread and as a carb-a-holic, I am here to confirm that Duck Island has THE BEST bread in NY. PS I am literally gnawing on a piece of sesame something (looks like a branch of leaves - so pretty) as I'm typing this. Just amazing!

I went…read moreto order two of their chocolate babka muffins that looked simply delicious, with large chocolatey swirls and a glossy sugary finish. Not only did these set me back $9 total, but were annoying to eat and not worth the cost at all. The minimal chocolate filling had sunken to the bottom and completely fused to the wrappers, and the muffins were very dry inside, not soft and fudgey like chocolate babka should be. Everything they have looks and sounds incredible, but the two muffins I got were very overpriced and not nearly good enough to be worth it. Additionally, the parking situation is a nightmare, with people parking in spots that don't exist in a lot that's already way too tight.

The elegance is nice. Service (4/5): Understanding that the restaurant was extremely busy this day, we did not get the best service. They forgot to give us the table bread which we had to ask for after our appetizers came. They knew we were sharing everything so it was nice that they had pre-sliced everything and provided us sharing plates during the meal. Food (4/5): This is review is specific for their Mother's Day fixed prix menu ($125/pp which btw is $115 for Father's day 2026). Sad to say overall, the price point was not worth the food we received, as it was way overpriced. Potato bread (6/5): This is one of the best table bread I've ever had--the softness and flavors are so good that I would sacrifice stomach space for 5 servings of this! Use the leftover butter for your steaks! Blue Point Oysters (5/5): Super fresh! Delicious Lobster shrimp wontons (4/5): Wonderful presentation just okay on flavor. Lukewarm upon serving. Red Roof Roll (4/5): The portion of fish was pretty generous! Tasted fresh as well. They were out of the 38oz porterhouse for 2 by 7p. New York Strip Steak (4/5): Cooked as requested, however not enough fat to make it melt in your mouth as the cuts were a bit too tough. The dry aged taste was great. Filet Mignon (4/5): I don't think this piece was as good as I remember. It needed their house steak sauce to give the dish any flavor. Pork Tenderloin with Carrot Puree sauce (2/5): Each piece was tough, not much flavor to it, carrot sauce did not give it any more flavor. Scottish Salmon (5/5): This was my favorite dish of the 4; it was juicy and had lots of flavor to the butter sauce. Crème Brule and cheesecake were wonderful. The carrot cake was dry and half of it was leftover.

The food was really good, everything from their sushi rolls, to entrees, appetizers and sides. We did skip on dessert because we were absolutely stuffed but I am sure it would have been great. Went to dinner expecting great things but what we got was just mediocre…read more The menu looked amazing and it was hard to decide, we got 2 appetizers and a salad to share. We got the butternut squash which sounded very fancy on the menu but was just butternut squash with a piece of fried prosciutto stuck in each portion on top of cacio e pepe sauce which by the way was broken. We also got what we thought was going to be artichokes on a bed of arugula but was mostly arugula with a few small pieces of artichoke and some pistachios. It was bland, definitely needed some vinegar or lemon or something. Not worth the price, I could have thrown that together myself at home. We also had the spinach/pear salad. Again, I could have made that at home. I got the lemon shrimp linguine. I liked the pasta, I liked the sauce, I did not like the shrimp that came with it. They were tiny and maybe boiled, just not great. We also had the ravioli. One big extremely dense ravioli, raviolo or whatever a singular one is technically called. It was ok but so dense and rich. We also had the bolognese. Not the best. For the prices we paid we expected greatness. We each had dessert. So for the 3 of us the bill came to almost $300 with tip. I personally felt like the service did not warrant the tip but we left it anyway. We weren't checked on, we had to wait a long time to get the bill and we paid by phone app. The service wasn't great. I think the best part of the entire night was the little bucket of candy that we got with the check. The gummy butterfly was delicious! No, we won't be back.
