Decided to try some of the more authentic items and was not disappointed. I ordered the shrimp and cucumber. I had some kind of garlic sauce on it was to die for. Shrimp were cooked perfectly and were clean tasting. I got the two entree combo with steamed dumplings and lo mein. Both of those items were pretty decent. Not knock your socks off, but still solid. Would definitely order that combination again. I also opted for the shrimp egg roll which after eating at this place many times and trying both the vegetable and the roast pork egg rolls, I have to say the shrimp was the best out of three for flavor, to which it had a lot! My partner ordered the number 2 combo, which was the sesame chicken and sweet and sour chicken. He said the sesame chicken was fantastic and the sweet and sour was just ok. Not bad, but not his favorite. We order from this place quite a bit and have yet to have a bad experience. We ordered take out here last night and they hooked it up! We ordered crab Rangoons, teriyaki chicken and chow mei fun. The chow mei fun wasn't exactly what we expected but it was SO TASTY regardless so we will order again, and recommend to others. First time ordering (for delivery) from Ling Ling and it will be the last time too. They shorted us one order of fried rice and when I called to have them get it to us, they would only oblige if we came to pick it up which defeats the purpose of having our dinner delivered! While they offered a credit which was convenient for them and not for us (plus there would be no guarantee they'd honor it later), we saw how little they demonstrated they cared about their customers. We decided to try this based on a friend's raving reviews. Honestly, our expectations were low for a "fast food" Chinese Restaurant. WOW, were we wrong! First, the portion sizes are HUGE, and for the price, we expected a third of the serving we received. We had placed the order online and were given a pickup time. When I walked in and asked about our order, they had yet to receive the online order. The owner apologized, and they prepared our order quickly. The response from the owner and staff was excellent and above the service we are accustomed to at other places. They even gave us a free order of Chinese Donuts due to the lost online order that was outside their control. Over the last three weeks, we have returned three more times, and the speed, order accuracy, and portion sizes have been consistent each time. The food is always fresh and hot, and the customer service from all the staff is above par. The restaurant is very clean. They offer an expansive menu of fresh foods. The portion sizes are incredible, we order a large meat entree and fried rice, and it is enough food for us to have a full dinner and our lunches for the following day. Our dinner tonight was $21.00 before we added a $10 tip. We like to tip for great food that exceeds our expectations. Not bad to get a full dinner and lunch the following day for $31.00, including tip. TIP: If you pick up your order to take out, they have serving items and a full complement of condiments such as Duck Sauce, Hot Mustard, and much more beside the drink machine. I have ordered from Ling Ling several times and most of the food items tried were good. The pork fried rice was my go to. Last time I ordered it was August 2024 because I got such a bad case of food poisoning I was in the hospital 4 days. It was bad and it affected my heart and now I have to take medication for it. I miss the food, but since that happened, I cannot and have not gone back. Please be careful eating their food. read more

I had the pleasure of ordering take out from Ling Ling last night and was so glad that I did! Their food variety is very different than Panda Express. Now, we just get the best flavors from China and Taiwan. The staff members are super friendly. I am finally able to put my Mandarin to use and surprised that I can still order some of the food in Mandarin, lol. Next, I'll have to practice my Taiwanese, lol. I got the "Hot and Sour Soup," "Teriyaki Chicken," "Chicken Fried Rice," and "Mei Fun." You may be asking what is Mei Fun? Its a type of very thin noodle that is stir fried with vegetables. I waited till we went here several times before writing this review. We went opening day and everything was fresh and good but since it was opening day everything had to be fresh, right? We have now gone two or three times since then and each time seems to be worse than the last. They do not cook to order for it all sits on a line like mall Chinese food. I really wanted to love this place since it's close to home and I love Chinese food. The place is just not doing it for me. The egg rolls are large but when you bite into them the inside of the wrapper seems to be raw. It's also just stuffed with baggage mainly and no seasoning so not worth eating for me. All the chicken dishes we have tried all taste very similar and have an underlying taste of sweetness to it. The broccoli beef is an okay dish. The sauce is a bit sweet but the beef is tender since it's sliced so thin. The dumplings I liked and I had then steamed and fried and I prefer them steamed. They are on thick side if you like them that way. The lo mein and chow mein are both very greasy and will slide right though you. The fried rice is meh. A couple of times it has hard pieces and it was problems from sitting around. Overall we won't be going back any time soon. read more

I did go here an hour before close. I loved the lo mein but the rice and chicken tasted like it had sat out all day. I also got the Chinese donuts and that had to be my absolute favorite part. We got lunch from drive-thru today. Maybe the worst Chinese I've ever had in my 60, or so, years of eating it. Egg rolls pretty much consisted only of overcooked, shredded cabbage packed into a dry, tough, inedible wrapper. Hunan beef was really just beef and broccoli in a strange greasy red sauce, with a few pieces of red bell pepper thrown in for show. And, I won't even attempt to describe what's being passed off as hot and sour soup. No thanks! read more

Ordered a take out of Lo Mein , Chow Mein and beef. All was good with on time packaging. But reason for 2 stars is that the LO Mein was smelling of bad oil . The smell was so much not sure how did they give it to customer. CHOW Mein was ok . So if they cooking in old bad oil it is not a good sign read more

My son and I went there for lunch last month. Inside was set up like a food court booth at the mall. Everything is served in the drive thru containers no matter whether it was for there or to go. It was obvious the stuff on the steam table had been sitting awhile. We will try again later when they have had some time to perfect the operation and get everything tasting hot and fresh. read more
