Cool place. Everyone was having fun, not "casual" like a sports bar but definitely not fancy. Just right, I'd say. Good selection of beers on tap and I caught a glimpse of a decent sized cocktail menu. I always saw and smelled some good looking food though didn't try any. They were playing awesome 90s Music and the vibe was overall really positive. I did have a scare though, when I got to paying my tab it appeared they had lost my debit card. They assured me I wouldn't be charged for anything, and they took my information so that they could call me once they closed down the bar and could look with the lights on. I was pretty PO'd, not gonna lie, but the staff was very and visibly apologetic and as upset about it as I was. Some of them were even on hands and knees with their cell phone lights looking for it. We hit 2 or 3, sometimes 4 spots on Friday nights, and we like to mix it up a lot. Somehow LLL has gotten on our routine a lot and for good reason. We love our music, especially when it's done right, and so the main pull for me is the DJ Michael Clark (MyKill). The man knows music and is always on point. The staff is pretty friendly and laid back. Drinks are good at reasonable prices. The food is really good, definitely a cut above the usual bar fare (the zucchini fries are worth a stop here alone). The environment is low-light and close with a lot of style, very enjoyable. Keep it up! read more

This place was actually pretty busy for a Wednesday night after 8pm and the live music made the place a lot of fun. I had a blood orange cider and liked the beer selection but the food was pretty slow. Our hummus plate, and brie dip came out fairly quickly and were very tasty but I think they grew and harvested the vegetables for my friend's salad it took so long. We unknowingly came on a first Saturday..which was AWESOME! It was Stranger Things themed. This place place went all out with the decor and a themed drink! Loved the food! Our group ordered a pizza, a salad, a sandwich (hello grilled cheese!) and loaded fries. All of which was devoured! We have been here 4 or 5 times now. Love the atmosphere, love the DJ/music. The food that we have had has been good. The only thing that needs to improve - the service. We've drank our beer, ate our wings and haven't seen a waitress for probably 15 minutes, anywhere on the floor. This isn't the 1st time it's happened. Pretty much every time we come in the service lacks, busy or not. We'll still come in for the other things, and hope that the service improves at some point. read more

Came here for happy hour and trivia night. The happy hour goes from 4-7pm and all day Sunday. Splurged on cheesy bread, zucchini fries and BAKED BRIE OHHH MY GOD! So good! The guys at Genuine Concepts took a sports bar I used to goto years earlier (the 16th Street Bar & Grill) and turned it into something different entirely. Brought to you by the same folks that brought you The Vig, Crescent Ballroom, and Little Woody, Linger Longer is a hidden neighborhood lounge that pretty much caters to anyone. We actually came this time for a friend's surprise birthday party. Her boyfriend picked this place in part due to the decent drink selection, numerous games to keep the group entertained and the neighborhood lounge aesthetics. You enter from the back at this place and walk past a decent sized outdoor patio area en route to one of two rooms. To your right, is a game room that includes darts, skeeball, and shuffleboard. To your left, the main bar and lounge seating area with a mix of high tables and booths. Between the three sections of this place, they could probably pack in upwards of 100 people or so, but it was barely half full the whole time we were there. While we waited we got some food and drinks. I went with their house lager (not sure who brews it for them), as well as the Big Board appetizer to share with a couple of friends in the group. The Big Board has an assortment of fruits, nuts, cheeses, cold cuts, bread, and sauces (including a dynamite apple chutney) all for $12. It was a pretty good value for all the food we got and easily sharable. The house lager was also pretty decent and for only $4. A group of us played some shuffleboard as well. Wanted to play skeeball and darts, but I didn't have cash on me and neither takes a credit card swipe (might be something they could look into changing). There's also Jenga at the high tables near the bar which kept us occupied until the birthday girl arrived for her surprise. All in all, the Genuine Concepts crew has turned this space into a pretty cool neighborhood hangout. Certainly not the rowdy sports bar this place used to be, but meshes well with the neighborhood. The service was a little on the slow side and like I said I wish I could pay for some of those games with my credit card instead of cash, but still certainly a place I can recommend. And even though its no longer a sports bar, there's more than enough TVs if you want to catch a ballgame here. That is if you can avoid the temptation to show off your Jenga superiority. read more

This was my first time here and I'm not sure I'd go back. The service was so slow and they weren't that busy. We got there pretty early in the night and sat at a table where we were supposed to have full service but we had to hunt our server down several times to order more drinks or food which drives me absolutely nuts. I can understand if it's a self serve kind of place but when I'm assigned a server I expect to get served. Midway through the meal our server just says our cards and bar and left. We moved to the bar and this is the only reason I gave 4 stars vs the 2 or 3 I would've given if it was just for the server. The bartenders were friendly and took great care of us. This is the only reason I'd come back maybe down the road. The food was really good! Try the wings and cheesy bread! Let me start by saying that this star rating has very little to do with the space or the food. Those were great indeed. This is more for management, if they even read these, as a source for feedback. A group of industry folks were out to celebrate and get away from our respective bars / restaurants. It was our first time there. The food was great and our server equally as attentive. However the last impression we had as we "lingered" toward the end was a door person that made the whole experience turn sour quickly. While we mentioned it to several staff members, the apologies were more out of obligation. Again, maybe just a bad night or a disinterested person. Regardless, as an industry that relies on first and last impressions; that impression is often the thing that becomes the lasting one. read more

Ironically, Linger Longer Lounge hosted one of the few dance parties I left early. I arrived in costume at 9 p.m. after awkwardly squeezing my car into the labyrinth back parking lot. Tongue Tied had advertised no cover till 9 p.m., and the door guy took that very, very seriously. I don't know if you've ever arrived at a bar/grill at 9 p.m. for a dance party, but it's weird. It's still the dinner crowd (which skewed rather old), and they're looking at you like an alien. C'mon, door guy, don't get technical about the cover. This isn't a shuttle launch. My watch says 9 p.m. You don't even have a watch. So after paying cover, I walk into an overcrowded bar with a laughably small dance floor that is SURROUNDED BY DINING BOOTHS. Nothing says, "Let's party," like being the entertainment for boring old farts who just stare. Several of my friends left because the bar staff was rude. And the single bar for two rooms left people waiting a long time for drinks. I just gave up on that. Anyway, I decided to call it a night at 11:06 p.m. On the dot. If you're looking for a bar that serves food, has two rooms, offers live entertainment at actually gets it right, head over to Crescent Ballroom, Valley Bar or Yucca Tap Room. read more

A really cute place. I love that they have games and Jenga on the tables ready for you. A friend and I had a few drinks and fries that were all pretty good. I didn't have a lot of requirements in going, so the bar was pretty low, but I am a fan of the food that we got and the drinks that I had from the cocktail menu. We got there at 5:00-5:30 and it was pretty busy by 6:00, so get there early if you want a booth. :) read more

This was our first stop of the night last night. It was just alright. Cool setup in the main bar area, it was just that it was full and there was nowhere to really mingle. We went across the way and rolled a couple games of skeeball ($1.00 for 2 games of 9 balls each) and watched a little of the basketball game on TV. If the main bar wasn't full, I think we might have hung out longer and had more fun. All 3 of us were kind of over the place after about 30 minutes and decided to go somewhere else. I'm pretty new to the bar scene, but wow I had fun. We came a bit earlier than most would, Caught happy hour which was a pretty good deal, their "linger longer lager" is tasty and only 3 bucks. Plus the well drinks are 3 bucks as well. The wings are grilled, so.. sorry all you fried wing lovers but I must say even my girlfriend who is a fried wing person said they were delicious, and as for me I was in heaven with that delicious char. 6 bucks got us more wings than I could finish. No pool table, but they have darts, ski ball, and shuffle board which was okay with me. Beyond the food and the games, our bar tender was the coolest guy. At first I wasn't to sure of the place because the front looks like a little hole in the wall place and we went on a Monday and there were no cars in the front. But we drove around back where the main entrance is and there were a couple more cars. Getting a better look at the place it turned out to be a really nice place! I really like this bar. Tucked into the corner of an unassuming strip style shopping "center", it's almost unnoticeable. It has a funky layout but a super fun atmosphere with a DJ on the weekends and an actual drink menu with a good variety of specialty drinks. I love this spot - it's a hidden gem! I always describe it to people as an upscale hole-in-the-wall bar for a younger crowd. The atmosphere/decor is trendy and romantic. Love the jenga they put on the tables. Trivia Tuesday's are fun! Service is always friendly and quick. Bathrooms are always clean. I love that during the week it's low-key, sometimes it's nice to grab a drink midweek without all of the commotion and noise. I have noticed a different vibe on different days of the week, but that's pretty normal - just have to find your groove. The only reason we came here was for Jack Bingo so I tried to give the place the benefit of the doubt, despite my better judgement and was quickly shown the true colors of this dank bar! Lack of seating at the actual bar so we stood, waiting, just to get a drink to take with us to find a seat. The bartender never acknowledged us. We stopped in to see this new place. Wow they made some changes! The layout of this spot has always been weird but I have to say these guys made the best of it. There is what seems to be a dance floor in the main part. Not much seating so I think it's a waste of space. BUT...people actually got up and danced while we were sitting there! It was fun to watch. They have some board games to play while you are waiting for cocktails or food (Connect 4, Jenga). Not a large menu, but something for everyone. We had the kabobs. They were amazing! There is a fun looking cocktail menu but at my age (29 forever) I've got my drink already. It's def a hipster, younger vibe although there were people there older than us. This Friday night, we decided to give this nieghborhood bar a try. We arrived around 8p. It was already busy and we seated ourselves(no sign, but its a bar) about 10m later we did get a server. He was excelent and very refreshing to have a great personality as well as the on point recommendations to our tastes. They did a nice job with the remodel from the former 16th st sports bar. The atmosphere: Very similar to Little Woodys on Indian School. Wood accents on the walls with games to keep you entertained in 2 rooms. Fun place for a group. Hands down ..this is 5stars The Food: I went with the Cubano sandwich and upgraded to the loaded fries. The gf got the prosciutto grilled cheese and upgraded to the zucchini fries. I was amazed we hadnt heard that this place was bomb.com .. we live very close and no nieghbors talking about this hidden gem. Wow! The food is worth the stop in alone. 5stars We will be back many more times for a quick bite. Later on in the night, a dj sets up and the dance party starts. We had sat down next to the dj booth not knowing. Eventhough he was great on the turn tables..im afraid Id fire him for how he interacts with your customers. We saw him repeatedly pushing back on ladies as they came over for requests leaning over top of booth. Believe me i know the business well, as Ive worked in the industry. It was uncalled for, a simple wave to show them to come over to the side would of been all that was needed. Not flipping out and being rude(putting hands on guests) and worrying about his unsecured laptop. Remember these are your paying customers..he didnt seem to care.. I just became horrified at my lack of review writing for LLL. Where have I been? How could I have disrespected triple L by not sharing the love? I feel shame. In a nut shell: I love this place, these are my people. We started going during football season. This is the perfect place to watch football. An unlikely statement but hang in there for this. First, it's not horrifically crowded. Enough people there to make it fun. Everyone seems to end up chatting with everyone else. Second, all day happy hour on Sunday. All day. They have some damn good beer. Preferring wine, $3 glasses of house wine make me overjoyed! Third, they have food specials, too. Let's discuss. My husband does not like pickles. I order the fried pickles every time. Then I eat the whole thing myself. Fat and happy. The sweet chili wings are to die for. The zucchini fries? Oh, Linger Longer, you got my husband to eat his veggies. Okay, you fried them first but still... The loaded fries are ridiculous but needs to be shared by a large group of people. Two of us can't finish them. The staff makes this place. I love them. Ryan, the manager is just an all around good dude and great to chat with. He lets me pick on him because I have t-shirts older than him. He makes a mean cocktail, that guy! The rest of the team is equally nice. We went in one day and they were just testing out some new cocktails and lets us have a sip or two and asked our input. Bar consensus building! Yes ma'am! Loved it! The atmosphere is fantastic, the prices on food and drinks are reasonable and the music selection was so fun (and not obnoxiously loud). We went late so only snacked on garlic pretzel twists. The server was super sweet although getting the food and the bill took WAY too long.
