It's ok. It's a large establishment. Servers aren't especially friendly, and the food is average. I've had far better Chinese and far worse. I'm not a big buffet guy so that's part of the problem. I wouldn't refuse to go back if friends insisted but I wouldn't drive out of my way either. read more

Place is nice on the outside, but don't let that fool you with the food in the inside. Sushi is mostly crab which I can assume is imitation crab. The server put water in my sprite twice, TWICE! It's way only 6pm and they were low on desserts. Food wasn't all that. Also, they try to charge my daughter as an adult and when we corrected it. It made a $11 difference. Just moving back to the area, I passed this place with my 14 year old twin boys in tow and thought I could belly up to the all you could eat with them and maybe save some money as the boys can wolf down a huge amount of food. This is the typical Chinese buffet food and they do have much to choose from, but even for Chinese buffet much of the food was sub-par. I guess there really is not much to choose from in the area, because the place was packed. I noticed most of the customers had their plates stacked high and were shoveling it in, so taste may not be a factor. It is doubtful I will return, I heard a new Chinese buffet is going up just a mile or so over. If they can be just a little better than Ling's may be in trouble. read more

Hell on earth....your name is Ling's. old sushi that is overrun with rice and little to no fish or (imitation) crab. the fried dishes (egg roll and chicken) were over cooked and dried out most things had sat under the heating lamp for hours and possibly days based on the look. the staff is unresponsive. further, when they do show up hey do not communicate. for example, my waitress came by to deliver my check. I gave her the money plus tip and finished my dessert. when i left roughly 20 min later the casher chased me out to my car and threatened to call the police if i did not pay. 5 min later after sorting it out with the waitress who went to smoke a cigarette instead of paying the cashier. For a Chinese buffet, it's one of the better in the area. I recommend dining for lunch, the $11 dinner price is way too much for the buffet. It's Not THAT good. I have been here twice and the food and service only gets worse. The meat on the stuffed mushrooms had already gone bad. Yuck! I spent most of the time in the restroom throwing up! My husband grabbed 2 oysters and the waiter came over to the table to tell him that the oysters were part of the "dinner" menu and he had only charged for the "lunch" menu, if he were to grab more he will have to charge extra! The ownership / management is otherwise uncaring and unfriendly. The lady at the register will hardly even acknowledge you, much less smile or say anything to you while she takes your money. The young people who collect the plates and re-fill the drinks are friendly, though. I always try and tip them a fair amount. The food is generic buffet food. A couple of years ago, we used to go once a month to Ling's. Now, I won't be in a hurry to go back. The last couple of times we have went (tonight being the last), the food quality has been mediocre. Lot's of the hot food had set under the lamps for way to long. When the food is no longer fresh, no one wants to eat it. Eventually they will bring out fresh items, then throw the old food right on top of it. Yuck. No complaints about the fresh oysters and boiled shrimp, but most of the other items were poor. At 630 PM when the place should be busy all food on the buffet is stale and Luke warm. No taste to some of the items. My husband loves this place! I have always had great food and service here. The owner is the cook and it shows. Their coconut shrimp is perfection! I love the cucumber and shrimp sushi, this is the only place I have been to that has it. Everything is fresh and they keep up. The only complaint I have is with the raw oysters. They are always out, takes them a long time to refill and they do not put enough out so they are instantly gone again. Every other buffet I have been to does not seem to have this problem. read more

The only reason I'm giving three stars is because the food feels very processed. Everything about the place is okay, the environment is clean, the people are nice, and the Ambiance is ok. My only gripe with the restaurant is that the last few time I have visited I have left with an upset stomach and nauseousness. I don't know if this is the content of the food or the MSG chemicals in it, but this is one of the few Asian restaurants where I feel sick after I leave. Pleasantly surprised by Ling's lunch Buffet ($9 on weekdays). Plenty of Chinese dishes to choose from (~ couple of dozen), Sushi was good, fruits, desserts and a ice cream machine. There were plenty of smiling customers there and the buffet was well stocked. Temperature was good. The restaurant was nice inside, very clean, spacious, the waitstaff was attentive and plenty of Free parking. I went back for seconds on the Coconut Shrimp, Baked Salmon, General Joe's Chicken, Kung Pao Chicken to name a few (heh-heh). . Overall, the Lunch Buffet experience was a Very Good and value priced at $9. I would definitely go back again. read more

The workers were very nice, and the restaurant was very beautiful. The food had a very good visual look but was not very appetizing at all. I was expecting to have good food like China bear or China east but I was not impressed with ANY of the flavors that I experienced. The food tasted very heavily processed and we just left feeling nauseated and sick. I will not be going back to this buffet ever again. For the taste of the crappy food, we had to pay $70 for my family of 5 to have this horrible, sickening food.
