I have no idea why this place has such a high rating. My nails were not done by linh but the other girl. I got a manicure and a pedicure with the hot stone massage and wrap. It was a good $60 spent. Here is what I got: Pros: good job at nail polishing Cons: my toes had cuticle that wasn't removed. The massage I paid for was literally like someone was tickling me. After a year of a treacherous search. I finally found my diamond in the rough! Linh and her staff are absolutely amazing. The epitome of customer service. They are very personable. The shop is beautiful, well kept, and sanitized. I introduced my mother in law to the shop and she said whenever she comes from Austin we MUST GO! My polish always lasts, after my pedicure my feet are relaxed and feel like a baby's bottom. Not to mention, that I always enjoy the conversations, music or shows being played in the salon. I got my nails done here for my ring day and let me say, they were so cute!!! We got there at 9:30 and were the first ones there, we were seated immediately and it was very relaxing. The first part that threw me off though was them up charging on almost everything. $10 for getting your cuticles trimmed for a gel manicure, $5 to get your nails almond or coffin shaped instead of regular square, $20 for getting a singular color on your nails + $10 more for getting more than one color. Don't get me wrong, my nails look amazing, but I didn't know what I was signing up for when I walked in. I called before and asked how much acrylics would be and they said $45. They didn't cut my cuticles and it still ended up being $80. I did agree to get all of the extra add ons so I wasn't surprised when I got to the register, but I think that is a little extreme. It's been exactly a week now since I got them done and they still look really good except the base of the nails are starting to come up so my hair is getting stuck in my nails. You can see in the pic too that they cut my pointer finger and it got infected after that. I got my toes done and they look great and haven't chipped at all, I really enjoyed getting them done. Overall for my nails and pedicure it was $102. My girlfriend got gel nails and a regular pedicure and hers came out great and wasn't too pricy at all. read more

LOVE! I'm going to Disney World this weekend, so I wanted something cute and Disney related. I showed Linh a picture from Pinterest and she did it perfectly! She's very attentive to detail and will do it until she gets it perfect. The place is very nice and comfortable too. I really want to love this place because Linh is so sweet and hard working but I just can't. Every time I've been here (4 times now) who ever does my nails over drills my nails leaving them so thin and my dip chips within 2-3 days. The salon needs to be deeply cleaned, badly. Even when booking an appointment with linh she is all over the place jumping from client to client, your 1 hour nail appt turns into 2. $38 for dip is decent but other places in town can do better. read more

I've never given a negative review before, in fact I'm not really one to write reviews, but I'll make an exception. I came on a slow Friday morning, there were 2 other people in the salon getting their nails done and a plethora of nail techs. I told them I wanted just a gel manicure, and I was immediately seated. After the woman helping me trimmed my cuticles and nails (without asking what length or shape I wanted my nails), she put on the first coat of nail polish. Something was apparently wrong, as she sat there for a minute and then without saying anything to me, got up and left and walked to the back. I sat there for a couple of minutes pretty confused, and then someone else came to finish my nails. The polish I had picked apparently was too watered down, so I kept telling the new girl doing them that I would just pick another color (I said this probably 3 times). She was determined to make it work, which was very sweet of her. Eventually she got it to stick with a new shellac machine, though the ends of my nails looked kind of translucent (I'm guessing because the polish was thin ‍). Regardless, she was super sweet and I appreciated the effort. But, the very next day as I was on a weekend getaway with my husband (a big deal for new parents!) my nail chipped! Less than 24 hours later! In the next 2-3 days 4 of my nails either came off completely or had huge chunks missing (I'm a stay at home mom, it's not like I'm working construction). Overall disappointed about the quality and lack of communication about what was going on. I felt like I wasted money. read more

I had a really weird experience today at Linh's that I'd like to describe in case it is helpful in providing perspective in comparison to other feedback you may see. I've been before and have always been pretty satisfied and today was no exception. In fact, I was more than satisfied. I was a walk-in on a weekend afternoon, and when I arrived, all of the technicians seemed to be working, so I expected a bit of a wait. As usual, they had me choose my colors and then have a seat. I brought a book because I'd expected to have to wait given that I was walking in on a weekend afternoon. However, I didn't need the book (until the end when my toes were trying) because they are such great multi-taskers and were helping me in no time. Around the same time that I got there, another woman came in. She was also a walk-in, and after looking at the shellac together, we went our separate ways. However, throughout my experience (a wonderfully done basic nail art shellac manicure that looks *fantastic* and a hot stone pedicure (also fantastic)), I got to observe the patient and kind customer service provided to this other customer who was very grouchy about a number of things such as having to wait, wanting to try different colors and then have them removed, her time constraints as she apparently needed to be in Houston, etc. etc. I was so impressed with the employees' patience with this customer. At the end, she implied that she was planning to contact the owner about her experience. I witnessed her entire experience, and anything negative she would have to say would be a result of the situation she created for herself. I hope that she is going to tell the owner what I observed-- that after her many demands and even chiding of the employees, they remained calm and polite. I've been there-- having a rough day, made myself have a time crunch, maybe been less kind than I could be-- and I have always tried to acknowledge that with a tip and verbal gratitude. Every other customer that was there during my time left with a smile on her face. I heard another get the name of her tech and say she'd definitely be coming back. All my nails look great, the prices were super reasonable, and the staff impressed me with how they handled a challenging situation. read more

the person who did my nails was obviously sick, sniffling the whole time. I went to get a fill yesterday which cost $38 and wasn't worth it in the slightest. My polish is already chipping, the acrylic is chunky and uneven, and he messed up the shape as well. They aren't even passable, I was unlocking the door and my roommate commented on how bad they looked. He also cut my cuticle pretty badly and said it was because of my finger shape. read more

This was the first nail shop I visited after moving to the B/CS area and I've tried two other shops a little closer to home and I haven't done myself any favors. After my toenail grows out from my last pedicure where the nail tech almost filed it to the raw area I'll definitely be back here. They were quick and the customer service was good. Place is big, clean, and the staff is nice. UNFORTUNATELY they mess up my nails EVERY time in some way or another. The wait is always annoyingly long because the staff works superrrrrrr slow. The main manager jumps from customer to customer and so do the employees. You have to repeat what you want over and over to each new person. This is the second time I've left with my nails at different lengths and even different shapes. The edges of my gel color were cracked and streaky looking. 2 1/2 hours later I finally get to leave with nails that don't have a polished and finished look you'd expect to have after spending $50. I'm always challenging her design skills too and she never disappoints. Just show her a design and she'll get it handled. I also know that if she's not comfortable doing a design she'll tell me. A business owner being concerned about disappointing someone seems like such a rare trait now a days. The downside is that since she is so awesome she gets busy. I came in with ugly, crooked nails that still had a bed of acrylic powder on them and they fixed my nails right up. They took off the acrylics with care, making sure not to damage my real nails in the process, and then the lady with the pixie hair expertly filed my nails and even managed to shape my bad nail. She made sure I liked the shellac color before drying it (yes, I did end up changing it lol). The prices are actually really reasonable, almost too good for the quality of the service I received. I think I was met with one of the employee's daughters when I came in. It was a bizarre experience after that. An efficient gentleman helped me with my nails and set them in record time, but right after that I was transferred to a young lady who was clearly inexperienced. It took her a grueling 45 minutes to apply the powder and when I say it was grueling, I mean it was probably the most awkward 45 minutes I've spent in a chair. The time was worth it I suppose because my nails looked fine after, but there are still some stray chunks of hardened plastic under my nails that she failed to remove in time.
