We first found this at PDX and were curious if it tasted at all like straight from the brewery. It's pleasingly close. Chilled and served correctly, this offers the same great taste and fizz. We only tried the Blood Orange and Ginger Fix, but were pleasantly surprised with the product out of a can. We learned you can find LH in over 250 locations. If I could give you guys more than five stars, I surely would. It was my first time heading into your space after finding out it was so close to where I worked. As soon as I came in and met with one of your employees, I had nothing but the best most kind genuine experience. I didn't catch his name, but he had offered to let me sample the flavors on tap and also take a to-go cup! I had asked a couple questions and he explained everything that is done, even got a little sneak peek into where the canning line was. Yes, I geeked out because I love stuff like this. And he was super awesome enough to tell me about all the flavors and when I specifically asked for the new blackberry lime, he said they actually finished canning it yesterday, which is what I came here for! I had also planned to pick up some stuff for my niece since she lives quite a bit of ways from your location. She only gets it when she can find it at the market and her area so this is going to be a real treat! Thanks for such an awesome experience as I visited Lion Heart! Steve and I recently had Lion Heart Kombucha and we were simply thrilled with the two flavors that we purchased! One flavor was a Grapefruit Sage Kombucha and that was so good and extremely refreshing! The Grapefruit and Sage flavors playing off of each other were great to experience and so very good to have on hot summer days. The next flavor we had was the Ginger Fix Kombucha. I am always partial to ginger and so it did not take too much pondering to get this one. And yes, the Ginger Fix was wonderful as well and didn't disappoint in the slightest. There were other flavors I spotted, several being berry oriented flavors. I didn't get those as berry flavors often run pretty sweet and I was looking for something less so. But with the positive impression with the Kombucha flavors I did pick I am sure the berry flavors would be good as well. Have tried so many different kombuchas and have never been a fan but then discovered this brand on a fluke and we are addicted. This has replaced my itch for a daily glass of rose and both my husband (who has already been a kombucha fan) and I are obsessed. I buy in bulk from the warehouse and have also had them deliver to my house which is super convenient. Blueberry and pomegranate are my current favorites but blood orange and grape were my favorites last month. They are all sooo freaking good. Great kombucha! I try others, but they're too sweet or use strange ingredients. All of these kombuchas are dry, low sugar, and incredibly flavorful. When I'm trying to not drink as much I'll replace an after work beer with their Ginger Fix. It hits the spot and I'm not tempted to keep on drinking. I love this brewery's kombucha. The flavors are wonderful and the booch base does all the right things for my stomach. They add real ingredients to make their varieties, and the small batch practice shows in how tasty everything is. I often pick it up at the grocery store (16oz bottle), but have been picking up seasonal flavors in growlers at their brewery's Dock Sale (if you have a tap at home you can also pick up a keg!). Stopping by the brewery also is fun to see the small family business you are supporting. Go get some! read more

LOVE this stuff! Love the fact that there is 0 grams of sugar per bottle (as opposed to 10-20 grams in other brands) I LOVE the Oregon Strawberry and Chai flavors...YUM! Definitely a great taste that's not vinegary or to sugary like lots of others... LOVE the logo as well, but maybe that's because I'm a Leo... ;) But PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE bring back the resealable bottles! This kombucha is amazing! I have drank buch in the past for all the health benefits but I didn't always enjoy it. Lion Heart is really smooth and tasty. It doesn't burn your esophagus like some of those other brands. It is really balanced. Now they have this new flavor, Lavender Lemonade which is SO GOOD, it makes me feel all sunny inside! I've drank ALOT of kombucha through the years. From New York, to Asheville, to Portland...I've tried them all! And Lionheart is absolutely at the top of my list. Lion Heart brews kombucha as nature would have intended. (Not packed with sugar like G.T's sodapop of a beverage COUGH COUGH) Smooth and mellow, I can drink without fear; knowing full-well that my tummy will not feel acidic or upset post-drink! (I've even found that it has been helping my ulcers heal!) Most of Lion Heart's line is sugar-free or super low in naturally occurring sugars found in the fresh local fruit it's brewed with. Lion Heart Kombucha is one of my favorite things about living in Portland! It is available at local Portland Food Co-ops, some food carts, and becoming more available at area grocery markets. I love drinking the booch, it will cure what ails ya and is super yummy! Lion Heart has great flavors of cranberry, pomegranate, ginger, lychee, and the cool, refreshing lavender lemonade. My friends call me a kombucha garbage disposal, I love it. I will drink any brand, any kind, any day of the week. I'll drink the good and the bad, but I definitely know the difference. Lion Heart is my prefered brand for a few reasons, Number one, it's cheaper than the other brands, no way around it! Two, it comes in gallons and half gallons, quantity is a must for the amounts I consume, I believe you can get smaller sizes but that's not for me. i love this company-- the owners and the product! lion heart is the best kombucha i have tried. it's light and fresh and fruity-- not too vinegary or strong. my kids love it too. my favorite thing about it is that it is UNpasteurized, so it is full of beneficial gut cultures, and it is naturally carbonated unlike some other kombucha brewers who pasteurize and add carbonation-- totally defeats the point, in my opinion. read more
