I am not the type of person who usually writes a review of a business but my experience with Leo at Lion Security was so fantastic that I have to share it. First of all, the initial job that I called him out to do was far too difficult for other companies to handle. We inherited a Doorbird system with our new house which is basically a less user-friendly version of a Ring but we needed to make it work. Doorbird customer service referred me to several useless companies so I started looking on Yelp and found Lion. Leo came out and not only replaced the locks on our house with the mortise locks I wanted (a complicated job) but he also set up our Doorbird system (an extremely complicated job). I was thrilled with the work he did. Quality workmanship at a great price. Cut to today, 6 months later, when I had to call Lion because Time Warner Cable came thru and upset the delicate flower that is our Doorbird system. Leo talked me thru fixing it myself, despite my protests that I would never be able to do it. Let me tell you...it was crazy. Leo was driving while telling me to check this wire and unplug this and replug that and push this button and then that button....I felt like I was in Mission Impossible deactivating a bomb. I had a door handle that was made by a German company and everyone I spoke to said there was no way to fix it and that I would need to replace the whole thing with a different brand of door handle. I can not say enough good things about Leo and Lion Security. I was in a real jam after some people tried to steal my car by stripping the locks on both doors of my car. Leo was able come out right away on the same day I called him. He then diagnosed the problem, and even drove all the way out to the valley to get the replacement part I needed to replace the lock on one of the doors, before installing a new lock (all in the same morning). "You know what, fuck you!" is the line I got from the dispatcher that I called to inform that I no longer needed a locksmith after my neighbor let me in. Just as a full disclosure, my bad for having a nice neighbor for providing me with the extra copy of my keys home. Nevertheless, it is totally Lion Security Locksmith's bad for taking a full hour to make it to my residence, and additionally, there is no right for the dispatcher to talk to me the way he did. I have contributed my notes to the BBB, Google, Yelp (obviously), and several other web pages to get the message out. I wish you the absolute least of luck. Had you been more punctual or nowhere near close the assole I was on the phone. My suggestion is that you bend over, and/or suck it up. The economy is bad, and there is no excuse for acting like a dick! So far I have made bad recommendations to everyone I know, and I only wish I could do more damage to such a shitty service.
