This is the third time using Lions for HVAC related problems and every time they're on point with thorough diagnosis and repair. Our AC stopped working out of nowhere one evening and first thing the next morning Jason came to diagnose it. He ran thorough checks, explained that the compressor in the condenser was short-to-ground and it needing replacing. He showed me how the condenser works, how the compressor failed and the proof that it was broken. All this later got sent to me in an email. Once the compressor was available they handled warranty claims and Jason and Juan came to repair it. They did a complete reset of the condenser, very thorough and even finished it off with some unrelated maintenance free of charge. I couldn't be happier to use Lions and next time I have an HVAC issue I'll be calling them up again. read more

First of all I was really looking forward to working with lions heating and air because my neighbor had recommended them when I came over for dinner. I phoned up lions and they told me Leo was in the area to service us. He arrived on time and we were talking about what installations we could move forward because we were adding to our home. We knew we needed to replace our old condenser and we were able to make a deal with Leo being a professional knew just what to recommend, we get a 4 ton hvac unit installed to replace the old one. My wall heater went out right before a very cold week. The company we had originally scheduled to come canceled the appt so I was desperate to find an alternative. Glad Lions HVAC was able to send someone the same day. Jason was very professional and super helpful. Explained everything very well and even came back the next day to check on the unit again since I noticed something continued to be off. Leo was the best we could have hoped for in being patient and working with us to achieve the look we were going for to integrate the mini split system into the modernist aesthetic at our place. it took some trial and error to get it just right. we ended up using a galvanized rectilinear line covering which looks quite good along that stretch of our house (in lieu of the usual white vinyl line covering). thanks again leo! ps: excellent pricing as well. read more

Yosef and his Lions HVAC team were exceptional. The work was done with high quality, in a timely manner, and at a reasonable price. I would highly recommend this service. We have a middle aged AC unit (13 years old) that was working fine except that it was very inconveniently located in the center of our townhome patio. For years I've considered relocating the unit to a less obtrusive location. I finally pulled the trigger and my only regret is that we didn't do it sooner. Lions serviced our existing unit and relocated it to the back of the patio. The coolant and electrical lines were artfully extended. The attention to detail is obvious in every aspect. I never felt pressured to buy or replace hardware that was in working condition. Yosef took the time to explain and show how all the work would be performed. About two weeks ago during the blistering 90 degrees heat we started hearing a squeaking noise from the air conditioning unit. I researched three or four different HVAC companies and found Lions. Since they have 5 star ratings and very positive reviews I gave them a call. They returned my call by end of day and scheduled my service. Kim handled everything extremely professionally and we were on our way to diagnosing the problem. She gave us a two hour window for when the repairman would arrive and true to her words he called ahead when he was on his way. Sammy showed up on time and cleared the unit of leafs and dirt, ran checks on the condenser and compressor. All the while explaining how the system works and that it didn't seem to be a large problem. That was music to my ears!!! Do not use this company for inspection work. They gave me a list of what they suppose to inspect and spent 45 seconds on machine. I had two units and didn't spent anytime at all inspecting. From the moment I picked up the phone, and spoke to Shelly, I knew I was in good hands. Shelly listened so carefully. She told us that one of her colleagues named Leo would visit. As promised, we got a text thirty minutes before Leo arrived. Leo was in my opinion one of the most professional and knowledgeable people I have met. It is very helpful if you can prep before the technician arrives. Have access ready. We started by looking at our thermostat. The voltage was low. We looked at the compressor and then went into the attic. Leo found it to be a blown fuse. He was done in under 30 minutes. The main thing is that he was excellent at his job. And the fax f that he was a nice person made it so great. This is a family owned business. I spoke to the owner. He is a wonderful person who cares about his customers. Please trust this company. Jason was the best service technician! Our AC wasn't blowing cold air so I discovered Lions Heating on Yelp. They were very prompt to call back and schedule a service call. We have three total units and two are very old. I was on the roof with Jason and I loved his direct and honest communication. He thought it was one of the older units and he replaced it w a jump starter. Then, after some testing he discovered it was the new unit that had a wire malfunction and he basically juggled the wires around and it was soon blowing cold air. However, since I was up there inspecting the units, Jason communicated his opinion. He didn't oversell anything that was unnecessary. I know the two older units will go out soon. I decided on installing two jump starters (like a spark plug) to both old units. This allows the AC unit to function with a little more power and efficiency and hopefully will last us 2 more years. I highly recommend Lions Heating and ask for Jason (from New York). read more
