Great new, lively restaurant in East Hampton Village. Indoor/outdoor seating. Newly renovated.

Underwhelmed with the experience here. Food wasn't anything memorable and the space felt a bit stuffy. Steak is tiny for the price.

I was trying to find a way to go there without having to drive so far just for food. I live an hour away from them, so the travel time is what makes going there a deal breaker consistently. It's worth going to East Hampton generally, but it should be a day thing. Not just to go eat. The person who helped us was very knowledgable and asked good questions in terms of what you'd like for your platter. The food was top quality. Our platters were worth every bit of that gift certificate and I'd love to come around this place again! I also had to buy their sauce on the way back home because we use it for some dinners. My only critiques is regarding the mac and cheese. I wish it was more of a homemade baked mac and cheese with the toasted top. But definitely good mac and cheese nonetheless. The mashed sweet potatoes were definitely too seasoned with all spice. It gave it too much of a kick than I was expecting. I liked the seating inside and outside. If we didn't have bad allergies, would've probably sat outside and enjoyed our meal. Also, this place has their own parking area. So that's definitely a plus!

One of the worst dining experiences I have ever had…read more My partner became ill and was unable to join me for dinner. We called the restaurant to either move our reservation to another day or cancel it, and were told that only the manager could assist us. However, we were told the manager was unavailable because he was busy speaking with regulars at a table. I asked if we could simply be placed on hold until he was available so we could find a solution. We were told no. Instead, the employee said they would "leave a note" and that someone would call us back if they were able to help. Meanwhile, we were told that if the reservation was canceled, we would be charged a $135 cancellation fee -- despite the fact that we were actively trying to work with the restaurant to either reschedule or resolve the situation. The experience became even more unacceptable when the employee eventually hung up on us and then stopped answering our calls. The restaurant only answered after American Express contacted them on our behalf. To be clear, I have no issue with a restaurant having a cancellation policy. What I have an issue with is the way this situation was handled: being told the manager was "too busy" to speak with us, being refused the simple courtesy of being placed on hold, having our calls screened, and ultimately being hung up on. That is an embarrassing level of customer service for an establishment of this caliber. I genuinely hope someone in management -- above the person working the restaurant that evening -- takes this seriously and addresses this behavior. A cancellation policy is one thing; treating a customer with this level of disrespect is another.

The service was excellent and the ambiance is definitely the highlight. As for the food, it was good but didn't quite live up to our expectations. A few of our dishes arrived overcooked and only lukewarm, which was a bit disappointing. That said, we still had a nice experience overall. I wouldn't hesitate to come back, especially to enjoy the beautiful garden atmosphere. Overall, a nice spot for a relaxed night out.

Our waiter was top notch and took us through the entire menu, explaining all the different kitchens they have on the premises. We started off with the fluke crudo which was refreshing and delicious. We also ordered the pear gem lettuce salad which was as amazing as the waiter described - super well balanced, the nori bread crumbs added the perfect touch to this. We also decided to try the sardine tin which was fun, served with delicious freshly baked bread. We ordered the mushroom flatbread which was better than any pizza I've ever had. We also got the little neck clams which were fresh and flavorful, and the cacio e pepe which was rich with fresh, chewy noodles. We ended with the rhubarb crostata, crumbly and perfect. I don't get the hate on this business, I would come here again in a heartbeat.
