On (2) previous visits, I had forgotten coal and hookah tips and came just to grab a few. They only sell items in large bulk! It just seems like they are always tryna push you to get more. A 2nd time I needed to purchase a new tobacco container for the hookah, and the employee had to keep calling the owner just to get an answer. The store that evening was out of tips, containers, and the flavor tobacco I like.....The owner obviously said "No", and I had to purchase another container for $17 and literally buy more than I anticipated because they were out of stock on several items. It was even a Friday night! Aside from those issues the store is ok, but start selling some A la Carte items. If I come in and wanna buy 1 small pack of coconut coals, have those in stock.. June 18th, I ingested the tainted chocolates bought at Smoke Side the day before. As soon as I was physically able, I called to notify them what had happened to prevent further harm to anyone else. That was my only agenda. An hour later, I'm assuming after they researched my claims themselves, *they* called back very concerned and offered to rectify a situation I hadn't even thought of and suggested to refund/exchange my purchase price. I NEVER ASKED FOR ANYTHING because I wasn't blaming them!!! They offered. Which was cool. I accepted and came in the next day only to be treated with suspicion until I could be helped by the person who was familiar with the situation. Fine. Whatever. I received my refund and was also offered an in-store credit. I was a bit disappointed by the previous employee's attitude so I accepted and opted to come back at a later date to use it. August, today, came back to use my in-store credit and was told by the original employee from day 1 and 2 that I was mistaken and I was only offered one credit or the other. Remember, I never asked for or expected anything and in their attempts to make a bad situation better they just made the victim feel like a piece of by not remembering their own promises. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. SECOND REVIEW Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Atmosphere was very comfortable to ask advice on new products and general questions. They sell products for MTL, DL and new pod systems. So something for everyone from - trying to quit the analogs and vape to experienced vapors. Took one star off due to all the liquids offered only went to 6mg, which are generally used for sub ohm vaping. I prefer 12-18mg They do offer a nice selection of salt nic liquids at different strengths and flavors. Have been in a couple of times to pick up supplies when I didn't want to wait for an online order. Will continue to stop in for my vaping products.
