Not only does the vendor deliver the alcohol to your event, but they will also only charge you for used/opened bottles, which was a huge money savor. Liquid catering is the best. I have used them for many events and the service is always incredibly fantastic. They will give you a conservative quote (which will still be lower than any other vendor), but will not charge you for anything that they don't use, they just take it back with them (they let you keep opened bottles). This means that, once the event is over, you will get a bill that is likely much less than what you were originally quoted. On top of all that, they are very friendly, punctual, and professional. My hubby worked very closely with Liquid Catering to handle our drinks for the open bar we had and he said he'd definitely give them 5 stars. Throughout the planning process, we changed our drinks menu several times and kept going back and forth with how much we should purchase. The woman, Dawn, was very flexible and gave great recommendations on how to bring the prices down without skimping too much on quality. She acted as a consultant too, knowing exactly what the popular liquors, beers, and other spirits would be. Liquid Catering is sliiiiightly higher in price than BevMo, but you're paying for the convenience of them dropping off all the drinks, and picking them back up at the end of the night. Plus, they provide all the ice, limes, and other garnishes so you can be worry free. We ended up ordering a lot more drinks than our guests could handle, but we didn't worry about it because Liquid Catering will take back anything that is unopened and refund your money. read more

I am Liquid Catering's newest fan! I only wish I knew about them earlier. So many events we could have done together. Haha! Seriously, I was struggling to figure out how to handle the bar for my daughter's wedding. Read way too many wedding websites and everyone had a different calculator/formula for determining how much alcohol to have at our full bar. Leslie, our wedding coordinator, suggested I call Dawn at Liquid Catering and once I did it was like a weight had been lifted from my shoulders. We gave Dawn the specs (date, location, attendees, etc.) and she literally handled the rest. Liquid Catering overstocks the bar for your event ensuring you don't run out ... and only charges you for what is opened/used. BAM! We had everything in our bar ... a wide range of liquor choices, 5 different beer options, 5 different wine options, all the mixers and such. Our guests loved the many options! Did I mention they delivered everything ($65) to the venue the day of, picked up everything at the end of the wedding and ... at my request ... delivered ($25) the open bottles to my house the next day including a small love seat that we couldn't fit anywhere else. Best of all, Dawn and Liquid Catering's final bill came in at about 80% of what we were projecting based on all of those websites I spoke about earlier. So easy to work with and just simply delivered on what they said they would. Not always easy to find that these days. If your venue allows you to provide your own alcohol, working with Liquid Catering is a must! They deliver your order, pick up anything unopened at the end of the night, and you're only charged for what you use (assuming you choose from their "returnable" list, which is pretty robust). We really weren't sure how much our guests would drink, didn't want to run out of alcohol, but didn't want to be stuck with extra at the end (we don't live in the area), so this was truly the perfect solution. Dawn, the main contact, is very friendly. It's a small operation, so sometimes communication was a bit slow or a bit confusing. These guys are great...we used them for our wedding at Saddlerock in June. They have any brand you can think of, charge the same for a bottle as bevmo or costco, you can order however much you want and they only charge you for what you end up drinking! They only charge for bottles that are opened, but bring more than enough to keep the party going. The wedding was in Fallbrook, CA and they delivered the alcohol to the Wedding in the morning and picked it up in the evening when it was over. I used Liquid Catering for my wedding last week and everything was just fine. There prices were reasonable and the communication was consistent. They will give you a pretty large estimate for the event, but the actual amount we was spent was about half of the quote. They just want to make sure you do not run out of anything during the party. The prices were comparable with those found at Bevmo, but the delivery and easy return policy satisfied us. You could probably do it cheaper on your own, but Liquid Catering made it no hassle and we did not have to worry about taking stuff back to the store afterwards. We were referred to Liquid Catering for our wedding by Contemporary Catering. Dawn from Liquid catering is friendly...that is, if you can actually get in touch with her. She was terrible with email and returning phone calls. We were finally able to get them on board for our wedding to provide the alcohol and other drinks for the bar. The delivery was on time, there was no issue with the items provided, and they took all of the unopened bottles back with them so we would only get charged for the open containers. However, we were supposed to keep the Smirnoff Ice because it was a special request and they wouldn't take them back. Surprise! Not only did they take them back, we were charged for all of the bottles as if they had been consumed. My repeated attempts to get our money reimbursed from Dawn were all met with silence. She never responded. For what the service is, its ok. Work with Dawn on the menu, specialty drinks, budgets, etc. But bad communication should be expected and maybe you'll be overcharged for alcohol not consumed, like we were. read more
