Decent dive bar for good drunks, chill vibes, and friendly staff. Known for some shows, comedy, and other stuff when Covid isn't around.

Best comedy in town. Great service during the show Lots of other activities like pool, ping pong, darts The outdoor space is so nice, and the soft lighting before the show was so beautiful

Dive bar full of characters at night. .. lots of stories here. I gone here for music several times. It is very tiny and the locals are very local ..... not the sedate stuffy kind up the mountain. I have not gone to the night when the ladies dance. So I can't really comment on that. Ample parking in the front. Relatively clean. Nice looking bar with bar maids when I have been there. Kind of a cool old roadhouse when a local band is slamming the air waves.

    The patio.

Cute little dive bar. Blonde girl serving was very friendly and quick to help each person. Nice patio to feel like you're outside but not directly in the sun.

I attended my first Don't Blink Burlesque show at The Mint. It's a cozy little dive bar. The drinks are good and cheap and the service was excellent. They have the burlesque show perform nearly every weekend. It's a small stage and you feel like a part of the show, which is a nice touch.

It's a true dive bar, with patrons to match! Just good ole locals out for a beer! I don't think they have any food.

It's got a respectable beer selection and a nice nook filled with pool tables. There's also an extensive menu of sandwiches, burgers, and bar food. I know locals love it, but I just really don't like how they operate here because they can't seem to decide if they want to be a real bar or a sit-down restaurant. You'll hardly have space to roam and you can't really accommodate a group larger than 4 people. Service is good, but the seating is cramped. There is nothing uniquely good about the food (I can mostly say it is somehow even greasier than you expect it to be), so you may as well enjoy some snacks and conversation somewhere a little more comfortable.

Recently, we decided to go in because I wanted to purchase their new tiki glass collectible. It's the first time they've come out with a glass in decades! Saguaro themed! I love it! We sat at the bar and immediately ordered a few tropical drinks and a sampler plate. It was definitely bar food but, still tasty. The biggest surprise was their ribs! They were seasoned well, the sauce was flavorful, and the meat was cooked perfectly. It hit the spot! Service was great, and the best part was the people watching. It was busy on the Saturday evening we went in and the energy was lively. We're looking forward to heading back in for one of their themed events.

Catching up on some reviews from earlier this year…read more We went to the legendary Kon Tiki on a Sunday because it was advertised on the website and their front door as vintage tiki music and vibes from 4-11 every Sunday (image attached). Nope. Modern soft alternative playing (if that's even a thing). Some of our AZ tiki friends had told us that they have had both the best mai tai they've ever had here - and the worst mai tai they've ever had here. I ordered a mai tai hoping for the former, but received the latter. While the interior is still cool - the iconic sign is in disrepair and it feels like they're just phoning in a half-hearted attempt at keeping the bar alive - instead trading on its history. A disappointing total miss. 3 stars for the classic interior - but not much else.

It comes with 1/2 lb sliced brisket, 1/2 lb of other meat of your choice, 3 sides, half a sour pickle and a smoked crack pie). The friendly cashier informed us the sausages were an additional $3 today so we decided to add it to our order as well. My major complaint about BBQ is dry, tough and overly salty meats. OMG, this was the most tender and juicy brisket I have ever had. And don't get me started on the pulled pork, it was perfectly seasoned. Just wished I had it on a bun instead. My son went crazy for the Sonoran spicy sausage. My favorite side was the dill potato salad. I had to ask, Toby the owner, where the cute name, Bashful Bandit Barbecue comes from. He said I was asking some great questions. Lol. Place used to be a biker's bar. When he took over he decided to just keep the name. We had a lovely and engaging conversation with him. He is one smart guy, graduated from NYU and Northern Arizona University. He welcomes each customer by asking where they are from. Who else does that?? Entire staff are incredibly friendly. Highly recommend this spot for the best BBQ in Tucson. You'll thank me. It was wonderful meeting you, Toby!!

Love the wall of chianti bottles that lead to the bar and love that the staff dress up in casual Prohibition garb. Came here for girl's night and it was everyone's first time even at the restaurant but mine. I'd had dinner a couple times in the restaurant for my birthday and had the cheese wheel fettuccine alfredo. I asked if anyone was interested in trying it and so 3 of us split it which ended up being pretty perfect. It is hands down THE BEST fettuccine alfredo. We had many drinks come to our table, the first round being the homemade limoncello. Made with local Meyer lemons, it is deliciously potent. A must try. The bartender, Ryan or Brian, he made cocktails from the heart. A couple of gals ordered "dealer's choice" drinks and they were inspired by the drinker's stories. It was really a unique experience for them and I could almost see his mind working out the chemistry of the libations. Another must try, although I didn't because I had to drive myself home. I did have a coffee with Bailey's, Amaretto, and freshly-made whipped cream. Last must try if not on a coffee drink maybe on a dessert. One person in our party thought that the drinks were on the spendy side. Many of the ingredients were house made and all top shelf. I'm from Los Angeles so an $18 drink was a normal night at the klerb. Worth mentioning if that would be a deal breaker. Worth a go. I thought it was better than the speakeasy at the Sonoran House which was too bright and not intimate. You really like feel more like you're not where you're supposed to be at The Still. There is a curio cabinet with cigars that I think are for sale. The speakeasy opens up to the patio for all the smoke suckers. Great for a small groups or date night, maybe not the first date.
