I personally don't shop here but I have made many deliveries from here and the staff has been fine until recently one of them was rude to me for nicely asking for the order. I said I was here for a certain customer and then he was rude because I didn't ask it in a way he liked. Maybe he was just having a bad day but I don't know. This place should be everyone's go to spot for tough to find micro brews from all over the country, not just California. I recently took a trip to Colorado, and was quickly spoiled with their beer selection. The town I visited had 5 local breweries alone, and that was just the first leg of the trip. Anyway, I fell in love with some of the beer there, and wasn't able to find it anywhere else. I walked into this place, and there it was....like the golden ticket from Willy Wonka...Ska Brewing Company staring me in the face. Not just one beer, but nearly all of what they had to offer. It was amazing. The prices were a little high, but you expect that when a craft beer crosses state lines. Despite the high price tag, I'll be back for sure. read more

This is one of the best place to get Russian Beer, esp. the rare & hard to find Pliny the Elder. The store was closing when I first arrived, but the owner was kind enough to let me buy a few Pliny and other Russian Beer flavors. *Please note that there's a limit of only 2 bottles per person per day for Pliny. This place is about 15 miles south (I-15 S) from my mother-in-law's house in Lake Elsinore. 10 miles north (I-15 N) from Lake Elsinore is Tom's Farmer's Market - another place that sells Russian Beer. There's about 3-4 variety and no limit on purchases. Unfortunately, I didn't see Pliny the Elder when I was there on 3-30-2013. ... And this is how I found out about Liquor Depot in Temecula. After making calls to ALL Bristol Farms and several other liquor stores that carries Russian Beer, the best ones were actually just miles away from where I was staying. This helps a lot on saving gas since I'd have to drive back home to Vegas. read more

By far the BEST liquor store in Temecula. They have a huge selection of local craft brews as well as high end craft beer from all over the map. All kinds of spirits and hard liquors in stock too. Best variety for alcohol in the city. And to top it off, the guys that work there are super friendly and helpful!!! Great location (at the end of Old Town) and decent prices. So it's 230 early September and it's 110 degrees .I've just driven from San Bernardino in a car with no ciggerett lighter . Yeah I know , let me live .. have you ever need a pack of matches only to be told each and every time No but I can sell you a lighter .well I gave all my change to a guy at the has station . I stopped on to liquor depot fully expecting the same response . Not only were they kind and generous this place is amazing. The wine and Champaign selection is like none I've seen before , and I've been in some pretty swanky places they have at minimum 200 different scotch ,oodles of do great vodkes ,tequilas And everything in between, o just numbed into a bottle of Stella Rosa Moscato , and I should mention the prices are great . So forget apple or cherry picking make a trip to liquor depot . See Julian and they are no pressure super helpful and kind . Normally at a liquor store you deal with crappy dusty products and workers who have terrible body odor. Normally the customer service is awful at best....not here though. You see here is a glorious haven of rare craft beers. It is Temecula's Mecca for alcoholic beverages. It's price point is unbelievably affordable. Finally, in my honest opinion, the customer service is impeccable. These guys are top notch that care about the customer. Don't waste anytime being sober and get over here to get your drink of choice!! read more

I don't know who was working today (2/11/17), but this guy will try and treat you like you're an idiot. I believe he is the owner of the place (speculation on my part). Their prices are unreasonably high. Know you're retail/MSRP prices prior to going in here. Some of their bourbon is 3-5 times what MSRP is and a lot of it is higher than secondary prices. They still have a bottle of ORVW and they list the price on their Facebook page as one thing and have the bottle priced as another thing in the store. They will not honor the price on their FB page (which is half of what it is priced for in store). As well, if you go in armed with the proper information they will just play dumb with you, which is what happened today. Looking at older reviews this seems like it used to be a great liquor store; however, they will never receive a dime from me until they get a new owner and new employees. Bottom Line: I'd look elsewhere before going in here! read more

I am 99% sure that these guys stole my debt card information and spent well over a grand on Walmart gift cards. How do I know this? I was the only customer in the store; the guy behind the counter stood a little too close while I entered my debt pin while making a purchase; I rarely use my debt card for purchases, which makes this place suspect number one; the guy working was not the normal guy; and lastly I just had this feeling when I was entering my pin, the way he didn't look away like a normal clerk would. You know the only reason I opt for debt is because I feel bad for small business owners getting charged the credit card fee. And that hits on another point, I liked shopping here because it's not a 711 or other major Corp. Anyways, beware. I shopped here every week religiously because of their beer selection. I always asked about Pliny, but always bought something new to try. Never again. I hope it was worth it. You know what they say about Karma. read more

Great selection of craft beers from around the area. Even from Russian River. They don't carry too many imports, which is fine since Bevmo carries some stuff. But for hard to find craft beers in this regions, this is the place. There's nothing else in this town that comes close when trying to get your hands on hard to find brews. read more

My husband n I have had issues with the owner being a jerk in the past but we decided to give them one last chance. I called to see if they had Pliny in stock since I had just seen it on IG. The guy on the phone said yes and that he had plenty but it was only 1 per person. My husband n I were already on our way so I told him I'd see him soon. 10min later we walk in and ask for 2 Pliny (since there were 2 of us) the guy looked at us and said no you can only have 1. After explaining HIS rule back to him about it being 1 per person and how there are 2 of us and it would be 2 separate transactions, also that we JUST called- the guy got huffy and said NO only one. He went in the back to get the 1 bottle he agreed to sell us, we could hear bottles clanking in the back as he was pulling it from the case. My husband was so pissed that the guy was pulling this kind of stuff again- we will never no back. We like supporting small companies but when they r jerks we have no problem going to the new Total Wine n More who now carry all these hard to find beers. You lost many loyal customers - as our friends will never support you either after all our experiences. read more
