Wow! This store took me by surprise. I was just passing by because I was in the area and decided to explore. I was blown away. High quality items, large variety, with a very pleasing ambience and set up. I felt like I was underdressed. Lol. I'm joking, but it was classy looking liquor store. The name Liquor King fits. Looks like a place a King and Queen would purchase their Libations. Tehe! They had a cigar room and a Fine wine room. The associate I spoke with was polite and friendly. I'd like to go back and take my time to look around, because it was close to closing. I feel like I might need a tour guide to tell me about the brands and their origins. Lots of brands and items that looked interesting, but were new to me. I need a couple tasting experiences here. Definitely recommend 10 of 10 for you to stop in. Thank me later.. read more

Here's the thing who doesn't love liquor? Ha! If you live in a dry town you may like Liquor King. You'll see Liquor King from the freeway, with the big gorilla out front, right off the freeway. Easy in and out access, friendly staff and nice selection of liquor. Prices are fair... no complaints read more

Unbelievable! I called for a specific product, was told by "Moses" that he was looking directly at them and had 6 on hand. I was very specific in my need also mentioning these were hard to find. He then said just tell me how many you need. I then said I'll come by to buy them all and I lived in Plano. I drive 20 miles one way, only to arrive and be told by someone else not named "Moses" that they did not have what I was looking for. I assume "Moses" lied or either had no idea what's he's doing working in a liquor store. Either way, this is my review for this moment. Total Wine who? Thought I needed TW in my life years ago, but since I discovered Liquor King Lewisville a year ago, that need has since vaporized. Liquor King has everything I need in spirits and beer. But, was makes them stand out is staff. They are knowledgeable, friendly and, to add to their exemplary business model, competitive with pricing. The store is well stocked, well organized, very clean, and welcoming. Great selection including a German whiskey that I haven't seen in over a year anywhere in Texas. Nice gentleman behind the counter and the pieces were in line with expectations. Their point system that allows the purchase of rare whiskeys for retail prices is a great idea and very fair to the consumer and the store. read more

This has to be one of my favorite liquor stores in DFW! It is so organized and they carry top quality liquors of all kind. They have a rewards system for their more allocated stuff, but the point system is not outrageous like other places. Definitely my go to! read more

I was pleasantly surprised at the ambience. It was very clean so much in fact the guy running the store was mopping the floor as my daughters and I walked in. I was looking to buy some Hennessy Blk and some Crown Royal Blk. So I go get the crown off the shelf and I come to the register to get the Hennessy Blk. So the gentleman tells me they don't have the Hennessy that I want. I go put the crown on the shelf where I got it and I'm heading out the door and the guy looks at me and says with the straightest face that he could "did you put the crown bac?" I answered "of course I did what else was I gone do with it?" I was offended to the 12th power that I was racially profiled by my own kind over a box of liquor. I hope all his cameras can help him determine if I indeed put the liquor on the shelf as I assured him I had done. Needless to say I will never be stepping foot in that liquor store ever again. Absolutely the best service! The owner is really efficient and nice. I had been looking for a particular wine for two years. Couldn't get it from anywhere. I told the owner what I was looking for and forgot about it. Can you believe he actually remembered to call me several weeks later to tell me he had located it and was expecting the case to arrive later that week. He also called as soon as it arrived.
