Went to the Lee's on El Capitan as I frequently do as it is near my house. In the past month alone I have been there 4 times. In 2 of those visits I spent a few hundred dollars on tequila. Last night I went to open a bottle of Tres Generation tequila and noticed it did not have the plastic seal on it. Checked the rest of the tequila bottles I had bought and found another bottle without the seal. Went to the store today to exchange them for bottles with the seal. The shift manager wouldn't do anything because I have no receipt. I told her I have the credit card I used to buy the items and asked her to swipe the card so she could see everything I've bought. She stated "Oh, we can't do that our system is from the 80's." So she called her boss who wouldn't do an exchange or anything for me, and from the phone call I could tell her boss kept harping on about no receipt. To which I said its not like I'm trying to get any money or anything like that and if you could swipe my credit card like damn near every other place I shop, you'd see my previous purchases. I will NOT ever step in that store again. I will be taking my business somewhere else! read more

I came to Lee's on El Capitan on Saturday and bought the new black bar that I saw on FB with VGK on it. The lady grabbed it for me. I got it home, wasn't the correct bottle. So brought it back next morning, Sunday and they will not exchange or return! It was their mistake. Their worker illed it off the shelf and rang me up after I showed her the picture. The employees are very friendly. They are more than willing to help answer questions and make suggestions if you want it. Just ask! Stopped in today after work. Picked up two bottles of the Peach Roscato. The cashier charged my card twice. One price was $ 55.25, and the other price was $ 28.16 for my bottles. When I asked her why I was charged the price of the person before me, she informed me to call my bank and get it reversed. Never did get a straight answer as to how that could happen. Went to the East Flamingo store Saturday the 8th. I'll never go to your store again on the weekend. And maybe never on any day based on the way I was treated by what I think was Security woman but not sure. Very rude. She couldn't answer my questions and I told her she was rude. Lees is cool. I have been two times in the last few weeks randomly. They are the most stocked liquor supermarket in Las Vegas! Its unbelievable the size and amount of different types of booze they carry. And a Hell of a lot cheaper then any grocery store or small business. Why pay more when you can get your groove on here and save a few bucks? Everyday liquor is competitively priced but Champagnes and Wines in the locked cooler are substantially higher than at Total WIne. Asked cashier: he told us to ask someone else. The 'someone else' was a stock guy - he said he'd never heard of it. After 45' of looking, he told us 'people need to look for themselves.' Needless to say, wasted trip. While there, we noted that most of the wines we usually buy at the grocery store just down the street were $3-4 more expensive here. The store on 4230 Rainbow Blvd., Las Vegas, NV has issues. First, we had to call their corporate headquarters over being racially profiled several years ago, before the Pandemic. Their employee admitted to following us around the store thinking my husband and I were going to steal something. This, despite having an account with them with all of our info, having spent a lot of money in this store over many years, as well as being seniors. For an apology, we were sent a $10 gift card. In this latest incident on December 14, 2023, my husband and I bought around $250 worth of wine and champagne. After leaving the store, I had a feeling something didn't add up. When I checked the receipt, we were overcharged for some bottlles of the champagne, which was supposed to be $9.99 on sale. When I returned to the store and brought this to the attention of Natalie, one of the managers, she tried to convince me I was wrong. When I repeatedly showed her the overpayment, deceptively buried in the receipt, she relunctantly admitted to it, calling it a "computer glitch." Then comes the cashier, Beth, who starts arguing with me that I was mistaken even when her manager had just admitted the "computer glitch." Interesting the "glitch" was in their favor. This confrontation took over 30 minutes. I, yet again, reached out to Corporate to report this incident the next day. Spoke to Ariana, and was told Rich or Chris of the management team would call us. It's been a week and we've heard crickets. Avoid this store. Whoever is running it, if in fact Mr. Lee and his son passed away, don't have a clue about customer service! If you must shop here, CHECK YOUR RECEIPTS WITH A MAGNIFYING GLASS! If not, you might be ripped off, as their receipts are purposely hard to decipher. read more

My wife brought home a bottle of a very popular flavored whisky (in a sealed gift box). I had tried that whiskey before and didn't like it, so I asked her to return it for a bottle of the unflavored one. The staff at Lee's would not take back the still unopened whiskey, despite the fact that they had sold out of their stock of this particular whiskey. I went to the one closest to my house and was told they do not have them at that location, so to try another. I went to another and was told they only take cash! Stopped in on my way home from work to pick up some kirsch for a cake I'm baking this weekend. No one was able to direct me. A kind distributor who was stocking shelves actually assisted me. Unfortunately, the shelves are scarce and very limited in offerings when it comes to Brandy. but I was able to find something similar to what I needed. When I went to check out I saw some pints and smaller airplane bottles and was looking at them to see if I could find a smaller bottle than what I was buying or something that would work better than what I had. Three employees were 20 feet away from where I was looking at the selection having a disagreement, bantering back and forth, boy did the female of the group have a mouth of a sailor. Definitely not workplace appropriate words regardless where you work. Just a gross mouth She suddenly screams at me "Your behind a register " in a very reprimanding and rude tone. I said "excuse me" and she screamed at me louder. I looked at her and just walked away. A simple "we're you looking for something special", or "can I help you with something, your behind a register " would have been much better customer service. I turned and walked away, paid, and left. I had a work call so sat in my car for a moment before I left. As I was leaving, the same rude girl walked out of the store and got in her white Nissan and bolted, she cut me off in the parking lot and ripped out of there like a bat out of hell. Apparently she needed to get her Jack in the box (seriously I was behind her going to the freeway) Just the worst experience ever! Hopefully, the manager will see this and talk to their employees. Teach them to take heated conversations off the floor eat a minimum, Just an awful experience in this place. Plenty of people walking around needing help to find things, shelves to stock or floors to sweep rather than have arguments on the floor and screaming at customers. Not the receipt, but it double charged to my account. This has been at least one and a half months ago. As if I will forget about it. I am not. Check your debit transactions this is so slick. It's great place for a wide and varied selection of wines, spirits, beer, liquor, etc. and they also have a whole aisle for things like soda, margarita mix, grenadine, and the like! I especially like their selection of craft beers. Prices are decent and they even have sales on some items too! Service is nothing to complain about. Been a customer of this particular Lees for years and have never had a problem with any staff until today. Pregnant cashier with a nasty attitude. She's rude and non helpful. Would rather pay supermarket prices and avoid going to this store altogether while she is employed there. Recently returned to this Lees and was happy to see that the cashier I was referring to earlier is now on maternity leave. No longer have a problem with this establishment. Sure you may find a discount liquor store a few bucks cheaper than Lee's. But I have watched these guys grow, from the beginning until where they are now, and I don't mind supporting the Vegas liquor store even if it means spending a tad more. Not to mention variety, they have such a great selection. Wines, beers, spirits, upscale pricy stuff, mixers, and even goodies like blue cheese stuffed olives. About half of the time I go, they are doing a tasting. Love that! Also, they support other local Vegas business's so that's a huge plus! I have never experienced anything less than remarkable service. Even when I called to check on a certain product, the employee knew they carried the product but doubled checked to make sure it was in stock before me coming down. They offer a points program as well for discounts and offers. Always happy, every time. read more

Manager and staff clueless and not very customer oriented. This is a depressing place and needs to be gutted and updated. BUT why bother when they are making money. Their chilled wine storage was full of non middle of the road bizzare sparklers. The best of all was the overflowing garbage greeter at the front door. This was my first visit here sad I know but I usually go to Total Wine so I decided to give this place a try since it's closer. The store looks deceiving from the outside because it is huge inside. Several selections of beer, wine, liquor and mixers as well as gift baskets and mini items. Juliec helped me and she was great suggested a few different whiskeys and bourbons that were favorite and taught me a few things about what to look for in a whiskey. I've never had anyone take the time to walk me through the different types of whiskeys and recommend a few based on what I normally drink.
