Ordered food here the night before thanksgiving since I was tired of cooking and cleaning all day. The ordered a loco moco, bacon burger w/fries, mushroom burger w/onion rings, and calamari. My son said the loco moco was delicious. You can choose 2 sides out of a list of 9 but he had all rice. My other son had a bacon burger with fries and he really enjoyed it. I had the mushroom burger and onion rings. The burger sizes were just right. We were able to eat it all without being too full. The calamari wasn't so good. It was way over cooked, hard, and had a funny taste to it (not spoiled, but maybe like they needed to change the oil). We will eat there again.

Great place to pick up lunch upcountry. They handled a ton of our class's orders with ease during the busy lunch rush hour. No place to really sit down; you order and take it to go. But the quality of the food is definitely worth the trip. I ordered a mushroom bacon burger and was not disappointed - juicy, flavorful, and well sized. Wish they would stay open longer for dinner, but other than that no real complaints I could think of. I'll be back with company.

All the bbq is epic. They always have good rice and the kimchi is ono. I keep going back. Their bbq kalbi mixed plate is one of the best on the island. Great portion size. I crave their bbq and wait for 430 on Saturday! It's a korean bbq and they really have their flavors down. The other pickeled items are exicuted well but I'm not a fan of the flavor profile of some of them... they give 2 choices for a plate and have a lot of verity. But I cant leave da kimchi! Ho Kim chi bah! Ono grindz. They have a great burger and fries... its juicy and can tell it's real meat. Loco moko is mean! Mayo potato!

5 stars for what this place is, a tiny little liquor store with a food counter that serves a whole range of delicious comfort foods. Be warned- this place is tiny and popular so you may have to wait a minute on your meal if you don't call ahead. Their prices are good, and their burger is THE BEST. I mean, this is a great burger. I HIGHLY recommend you get the bacon, mushroom cheeseburger and add pickled jalapeños. Their katsu is also really good. Often, not all menu items are not available, but don't worry- everything is good (seriously tho get the burger). The beer and liquor prices are the best around and I think any of the reviews suggesting the owner was in any way rude must have been some type of misunderstanding, because she is SO sweet. The customer service is above and beyond- honestly I love this place so much I add a tip when I buy beer. I hope this place stays around forever- our favorite comfort food for sure.

This is the place I go if I don't feel like making dinner and I really want something cheap and good. It isn't the most professionally made food, but it offers local style food and very tasty anyways. I love the breaded teriyaki and the hamburgers are good too. For side the mayo potatoes and mac salad are the best.. It's best you make orders via phone, or you'll have to wait inside the store or in your car. This store is take out only, unless you want to eat in your car.

Amazing food we always order from here. The kalbi plate can feed 3 people. Definitely worth the price.

Best place for lunch upcountry. Cheese Burgers hands down best on this side of the island. Call in your order so you don't have to wait.

Local products including meat, eggs, fruit & veg are available, and rather reasonably priced. If you're not a Costco addict, you'll find the prices are equivalent to local grocery stores. We got farm eggs and local steak for less than what would be paid at Safeway or Foodland. Like many local stores, Rodeo offers warm ready to eat foods like spam musubi, breakfast wraps, and plate-lunch style meals at the deli counter. They also offer local and imported ingredients, including for some reason many products from Mexico. I picked up a dark Oaxaca mole here that was incredible. They have bottled Coke from Mexico as well. There's also a large selection of cold drinks, inexpensive and otherwise. A can of flavoured water costs $1, good deal and refreshing. Kombucha is available in bottles and on tap. Add to that a huge alcohol and tobacco selection, and an impressive cigar humidor! There's something for everyone here, and you gotta love the local general store ambiance. It's deceptive from the exterior how large the store is, and one would never expect the variety of products inside. Don't forget to ask the cashier for the answer to the sandwich-board joke of the day, or say hello to the shop kitty!

Instead of two entrées, we decided one appetizer and one entrée, simply because I think their meatballs are the best on the island. They are fantastic. The fresh baked focaccia bread was also outstanding, although my girlfriend and I both found the vinegar/oil a weird mix as the vinegar would not stick to the bread because of the oil. The service was fantastic. You're probably thinking how is this review two star when half of the meal and service is already fantastic? It started with the last two times we came to Casanova's upcountry. *black and white flashback* Casanova's was the restaurant of our first date 6 years ago and we always went there for any special occasion. It always delivered. However, the two most recent trips were less than subpar. The pizza had to be eaten with a fork because the crust was so floppy and thin, and the service was just not there. We had one of those grumpy waiters who made us feel bad for even asking for something. And then the sorbet dessert took more than 30 minutes to come out. *back to present day* So we told ourselves, this would be the third strike, and if Casanova's still disappointed, they would be out of the regular rotation. The waiter asked us if we wanted bread, and my girlfriend said, "yes, please." But then I noticed that bread is not free. To me, you don't offer something that is complementary at many places without letting people know it's gonna cost them. Then, for the meatballs, which, mind you, are still amazing...the manager asked if we wanted parmesan cheese. We said yes, and he brought back what appeared to be Kraft Parmesan cheese from the green cylinder container. You guys all know the one. The ground powder that you grew up thinking is what Parmesan cheese topping is, but then you go to a real Italian restaurant and realize no, it's actually something that is a much more luxurious experience. It is bursting with flavor and shredded on your plate for maximum freshness. I guess it's the same thing as grinding pepper over your salad versus giving you a salt shaker. This is not Fazzoli's lol Also, I do not know if they raised prices since our last few times, but everything felt more expensive. The chicken parmesan was $33. It was ok. It wasn't this omg experience like we had had previously, but, we also couldn't tell if it was just all of the experiences finally coming to a head. A month ago, I had also spoken with a coworker of their own subpar experience at Casanova's as well. So here we are, over $60 for what should've been a cheap night out for one appetizer and one entrée. ...And with this crazy weird Parmesan experience. We felt like they were increasing prices, but lowering the quality of the ingredients. We couldn't put our finger on it, other than to say this was a value to price mismatch. Given the prior two times, this was strike three. We will not be going here again.

We had visited once before back in 2012 and remembered it being a great experience, and it's nice to see how much the farm has upgraded since then. They offer goat and cheese tours that you can sign up for online. This time, we just wandered around the grounds and relaxed while watching the goats and baby kids play in their pen. We also bought a $10 bucket of hay to feed the goats off to the side. We were told they were under a year old, though they were already pretty much adult-sized! They were extremely enthusiastic about the hay, and the bucket was gone in no time. It was such a fun and wholesome experience, for both me and the goats. Definitely a cute stop, and I hope to come back next time and sign up for one of the tours next time in Maui.

We ordered the goat cheese sampler platter which allowed us some options. I wish that there was bread that came with it instead of just crackers. Most of our crackers were broken. You can mix and match or get all one kind. They have a lot of variations. The service was friendly and the views were beautiful. It was neat to see some of the younger and older goats. They have a lot of space to be themselves. Those goats look as healthy as can be. I would come back.
