We Love their pizzas. Amazing burgers too. We usually get the Serpicos special pizza (like a supreme). But tonight it's an onion mushroom burger and a calamari appetizer. Ordered online and picked it up about 30 min later. For order pick up/take out, there's a window on the Kahului side of the building. I'm assuming the burger was great because my husband inhaled it. The calamari was awful. Soggy and extremely bland. Like chewy nothingness.

This is our late night go to place in Upcountry Pukalani. They serve big portions of pasta! They also have delicious Jersey Style Pizza and other entrees. The service is friendly and fast. They are hard workers and helpful. It's casual and great for after sports events to go to for dinner. You can dine in or take out. It's also a good place for a quick lunch. They usually have a lunch special with 2 slices of pizza.

Good stuff! Ordered take out but then decided to eat in when we got there. Staff was nice and I love to see a pizza thrown in the air! Inside is cozy with a decent number of seats.

We really enjoyed a late lunch here last week. Our server was very friendly and quick. The menu is huge and makes it hard to decide what to get. The chicken broccoli fettuccini was great and came with salad and focaccia bread, as did the salmon and veggie pasta. Great big portions and great flavors. Note that sodas are just cans with ice cup. This is a great place to go when visiting the national park.

Medium Serpico's Special with no mushrooms

Pizza was solid. It was pretty big for a medium sized. It's also a thin crust pizza which is my favorite kind. The restaurant is a little older and in an older building. And there's a takeout window or you have a choice to dine-in. We ordered a "Serpico's Special" with no mushrooms. Service was quick and our server was very attentive. We could also see our pizza being made in front of us which was a plus.

Delicious pizza but this pregnant mama paid $7 extra for a few pieces of chicken and that's just rude

The pizza here is usually good. The food is done on time. We always order a pick up to take home. Last night however, I ordered their pesto pizza and they charged a whopping $7 extra to add chicken to a large pizza. I assumed it would be a substantial amount considering the outrageous price for a topping but it was a few small pieces. I think I'll go back to making my own or ordering from Maui Pizza Truck up the road when we're in a pinch considering Serpico's is ripping people off.

Beautiful but chewy

Lovely, small town pizzeria with a long standing in the community. Friendly service as usual. Breadsticks were new (to me) but crispy-soft and seved with marinara. It was an off night for the pasta, as the rigatoni was overcooked but the sauce was amazingly cheesy and was lipsmaking good. It will be a good breakfast scrambled with egg and fried. Chicken on my chicken caesar was excellently seasoned and *generously* portioned. I could have easily split it with my date. I should have asked for extra dressing. I ate all the greens and we threw the remaining chicken onto his rigatoni. We ordered their appetizer wings and they arrived breaded so they looked huge to me. The bbq sauce was delicious. I would come again.

Pretty good overall! I was only able to get takeout instead of eating in, but I loved the Chicken Parm sandwich! Definitely want to try the plate if I get a chance to next time - Miguel Morales Photography

Marlow is a lively spot with an open kitchen that makes the whole experience feel energetic and welcoming. Definitely make a reservation. We ran into a delay getting up the hill due to a downed utility pole and messaged through the OpenTable app. Eden, who was hosting that night (and we later learned also serves), immediately called us, walked us through the menu, and even got our order started so we wouldn't hold up service. She was incredibly knowledgeable and set the tone for the evening with genuine hospitality. At the bar, Jesse, our bartender, took great care of us. From the drink menu, he made an excellent Black Cherry Manhattan with Burning Chair bourbon, Cocchi di Torino, cherry, and Angostura bitters--smooth, balanced, and delivered tableside. We also enjoyed a bottle of Gamay wine, which paired beautifully with the food and rounded out the meal. For dinner: * Mafaldine Bolognese (Lopes Farm beef, gremolata, parm - dinner only) was rich and comforting. My wife loved it. * Steak Tagliata (horseradish crème fraîche, herb verde - dinner only) was cooked perfectly and full of flavor--my dad cleaned his plate. * I had the Funghi white pie with local mushrooms, mozzarella, garlic confit, and parmigiano, and it was outstanding--earthy, balanced, and satisfying. Dessert capped things off nicely, and by the end of the night we were happily full. A special shoutout to Kira, our server--kind, fun, and professional. It was neat finding out she's also a Maui High grad, from a different generation, but with that same local pride and warmth that makes dining in Hawaiʻi special. Big mahalo to the kitchen crew--you can feel the care and teamwork in every dish. Payment was easy using Toast, which we appreciated. All around, Marlow delivers thoughtful food, great cocktails, and genuine hospitality. It's wonderful to have a fun, lively, open-kitchen restaurant in Upcountry Maui. We'll absolutely be back.

Loved the mushrooms and grilled onions. Fried rice had sabory bits of burnt ends that made this fried rice really good! Super ʻono, peeps! Gotta try! Oatmilk latte had too much milk so the oat milk overpowered the coffee taste. It was okay, but needed the extra shot to get a coffee flavor in there. Here's what I don't like: They use VIP produce and other commercially grown, and flown in ingredients instead of sourcing locally, and their prices are too high to reflect this. The taste absolutely reflects this and if you know the difference, you taste the difference (yuck). Another competitive restaurant upcountry, Marlow, uses exclusively locally grown and sourced produce with exceptional quality, taste and execution, around the same price point. It is a no brainer for me; the taste, quality, and value are superior at later mentioned restaurant. Kula Bistro is over hyped and over priced, but in a pinch, we appreciate the convenience.

Instead of two entrées, we decided one appetizer and one entrée, simply because I think their meatballs are the best on the island. They are fantastic. The fresh baked focaccia bread was also outstanding, although my girlfriend and I both found the vinegar/oil a weird mix as the vinegar would not stick to the bread because of the oil. The service was fantastic. You're probably thinking how is this review two star when half of the meal and service is already fantastic? It started with the last two times we came to Casanova's upcountry. *black and white flashback* Casanova's was the restaurant of our first date 6 years ago and we always went there for any special occasion. It always delivered. However, the two most recent trips were less than subpar. The pizza had to be eaten with a fork because the crust was so floppy and thin, and the service was just not there. We had one of those grumpy waiters who made us feel bad for even asking for something. And then the sorbet dessert took more than 30 minutes to come out. *back to present day* So we told ourselves, this would be the third strike, and if Casanova's still disappointed, they would be out of the regular rotation. The waiter asked us if we wanted bread, and my girlfriend said, "yes, please." But then I noticed that bread is not free. To me, you don't offer something that is complementary at many places without letting people know it's gonna cost them. Then, for the meatballs, which, mind you, are still amazing...the manager asked if we wanted parmesan cheese. We said yes, and he brought back what appeared to be Kraft Parmesan cheese from the green cylinder container. You guys all know the one. The ground powder that you grew up thinking is what Parmesan cheese topping is, but then you go to a real Italian restaurant and realize no, it's actually something that is a much more luxurious experience. It is bursting with flavor and shredded on your plate for maximum freshness. I guess it's the same thing as grinding pepper over your salad versus giving you a salt shaker. This is not Fazzoli's lol Also, I do not know if they raised prices since our last few times, but everything felt more expensive. The chicken parmesan was $33. It was ok. It wasn't this omg experience like we had had previously, but, we also couldn't tell if it was just all of the experiences finally coming to a head. A month ago, I had also spoken with a coworker of their own subpar experience at Casanova's as well. So here we are, over $60 for what should've been a cheap night out for one appetizer and one entrée. ...And with this crazy weird Parmesan experience. We felt like they were increasing prices, but lowering the quality of the ingredients. We couldn't put our finger on it, other than to say this was a value to price mismatch. Given the prior two times, this was strike three. We will not be going here again.
