The meals are like my Italian grandmother used to make. The meatballs are heaven - tender and tasty. The eggplant is the real deal. The ingredients are real Italian. small ALMOST hole in the wall italian restaurant with a few tables inside... it seems empty BUT Bella Napoli is actually pretty popular in town, most people order TAKE OUT & that's exactly what we opted for as well!! as you order at the register there are some sodas in a fridge & a rack of chips you can add onto your meal if necessary ---Tortellini soup: nothing special... over salted ---Sausage grinder: a tasty sandwich served on a soft roll! it comes either spicy or sweet & we got spicy which was a good choice ---Grilled chicken caesar salad: the large size is enough to be an entree (we were thanksgiving detoxing)...the grilled chicken was unexpectedly moist & flavorful! they give a LOT of chicken & Ken's caesar to dress it ---Crispy chicken salad over the house salad: you can pick your dressing for this one.. the chicken was perfectly crispy.. the restaurant doesn't look like much, but the food is surprisingly pretty good for the slim pickings in this area, although i haven't tried the pizza or pastas read more

I am baffled sometimes as I read negative Yelp reviews about places that I find well above average. The quality of ingredients and preparation at Bella Napoli is imo above the common drift of most pizza places. I look for a balance of sauce, cheese and pizza crust when eating a pie. So often one of those three elements is out of proportion, not so at Bella Napoli, I know their suppliers thus I am confident of their ingredient quality. I see the finished rolled cooked edge and know the dough has been stretched and handled properly, no air voids or pockets in the pie's center. The Bakers Pride Ovens are the standard for cooking pizza's just go to NY or NJ and you'll see the same ovens in service at many top notched pizza parlors. They make a very good product that certainly pleases me, sure, I have experienced others that were somewhat better but not by much. If you want a pie that is above the area average and pretty darn close to what you would find in Italy, then by all means stop by and givem a try. read more

A big Kudos To Jerry and the whole staff at Bella Napoli. If you don't know about them already, you should. The food is top notch, home made, and fresh. The pizza is great, terrific crust and lots of toppings lasagna. So good. Salads, great. chicken marsala and francase... so good! Basically, everything is. it might be 'standard' italian fare, but it is well done, fresh, and cooked to order. I ate there quite often when I lived down the street, and had them cater as well. Great prices, great service, great food And they remember you,w which is always nice. Excellent pizza! Used to eat here all the time as a kid when it was Canta Napoli, so imagine my happy suprise when i found out this was Canta Napoli under new ownership. The pizza was as good as I remember it to be. The perfect amount of cheese and sauce and crust. The crust has good flavour and is soft and chewy, but not overly so. The boneless mild chicken breasts were a hit with the kids as well. My only dislike was the lady at the counter. She rolled her eyes several times at my kids, implied they were going to be hellions before we even sat down and then told me she was shocked I could even manage them because I look so young. Was not impressed with her and had the food not been so good I would not go back because of her alone. So be wary if you plan to bring kids under the age of 10 here to sit down and eat. If I could do this review with a piece of a star I would. This place is awful. I called there to see if I could bring 8 kids there all age 6 & 7 and they said they would have to check with the boss and call me back. So I get a call back and they say that we can come there but on top of buying pizzas and sodas I will also have to pay $15 for a plate charge for bringing in my own bday cake. I asked the girl if they sell cakes there and she said no. So then why am I paying $15 to bring my cake. It's crazy. So now we have to go 10 miles away from the place where the first part of the party is to have pizza. I am so baffled by this. They Don't care about good customers with health dietary retrictions.I ordered a dinner combo and when asked which pasta I want, I informed them that I can not eat pasta (diabetes). I asked is there something you can substitute- only french fries, and other starches. I said No thank you I cant eat those. She says if you want brocoli its $3.50 extra, and a second side salad is extra too. I asked again, can you ask someone if they can offer a fresh green veggie since I can't eat these items. She refused and said again, NO. If you want broccoli, $3.50 extra, if you want a salad, that will be extra too. Imagine, a tiny little salad, a very minimal food cost item-NO, it will cost you extra. Then the Chicken/eggplant Combo, without the pasta, was maybe only 20% chicken, and 80% eggplant. Oh well, there goes my once or twice every month, $25+ , (thats only my part of others who all order together), future orders. Same place gave me 1 micro thin slice of prosciutto in a large grinder last year...my sandwich was the laughing stock of that party! .I should have known better. read more

Was expecting this to be packed separately from the pasta and was not so the quantity did not even meet expectations when mixed in one container. My go to pizzeria in my hometown of westside. Best specialty pizzas ever. Buffalo chicken pizza is a must try if you're into buffalo chicken. Never eaten in the restaurant side but it is VERY upscale, almost a separate establishment from the pizza shop. I'd assume the food over there is fantastic as everything I've ordered from takeout is top notch. Definitely worth the slightly premium price over other local pizza shops. Been a customer for years and will be for years to come. Also can get fresh cannoli with your order but they aren't cheap, pretty sure they get them from neighboring Cerratos bakery. read more

I've been calling in food to go for many year's, I work in roadservice so I don't usually have much time to wait, if they say 20 minutes the food is usually ready in 10 minutes. The staff is always very friendly and seem to have great teamwork. Tonight i ordered a Chef Salad that filled up a large mixing bowl when I got home, the lettuce was fresh and was loaded with nice ham and turkey. In the last couple years the entire kitchen has been renovated and is state of the art. On a few special occasions I've sat down in the new B'Napoli dining room, it is a whole different experience and has it's own high class menu. A truly wonderful meal. I had the pork chop Marsala and my wife had a Gorgonzola, fig, and prosciutto pizza. Both were wonderful, the service was terrific, and the restaurant was lovely. We will be back. It is worth noting that the pizzeria is next door to the dining room and has an entirely separate entrance. Super friendly staff. Even better food. Flexible atmosphere. Their Italian classic dishes are always on-point, but they have some pretty adventurous dishes too. This place has great pizza. I usually get the chicken Alfredo pizza with extra cheese bc it my favorite pizza and by far the best so far. The girls that pick up the phones seem to have attitude problems, I get it !! your probably sick off picking up the phones and taking orders over the phone but try to be more professional. I would suggest to the owner to have his friends call in and see how they are being treated on the phone by these girls.. The pizzas are a bit expensive but you don't put a price on good tasting pizza. Also when I called I asked how long it will take the girl said 40min or whatever!!! " or whatever " really... It took about 50min to get here I live only 10min away. Anyways since the pizza is good I will keep order but don't know how long I would put up with these rude girls... I would have given this place a 5 star but due to lack of professionalism on the girls and long waiting delivery it's a 3 star. read more
