This is a very basic Chinese buffet. The food is exactly what my wife and I expected. Very basic, but good flavor on the buffet. The plates were a little wet but nothing a quick napkin didn't fix. The only challenge for us was the price point. For the quality of food, and options available, we were shocked to have paid nearly $15 per person. I've been to many other Chinese buffet restaurants that charge the same but provided nearly two to three times the options, plus a sushi and hibachi bar. If the price was lowered, this would be a return trip for us. read more

This was our first time in this establishment and I have to say it wasn't that great. The stuffed mushrooms looked like that had sat there a while and the taste was bland. I also tried the general Tso chicken and it was not crispy or spicy like it supposed to be it was more like tough breading and bland. I ran 25 miles to get here. I ordered tofu with mixed vegetables and white sauce, hot tea and two waters. Then I ran home faster. The food came out quickly, the vegetables were fresh and the flavors were spot-on. Oh, and the hot tea was Oolong-- take that Lipton! Overall, a positive experience. read more

The only Chinese food available in Martinsville It's clean and tasty. The buffet is always well stocked. It's very affordable. We loved the stuffed mushrooms and the sweet and sour and egg drop soups. The rice and chicken and broccoli were good! Temperature of the food was adequate. You can drive 20 miles to find better Chinese grub of course but grab lunch here and support a local restaurant. read more

Your typical no-frills greasy American-Chinese buffet. Not a huge selection , but convenient enough to pull off the highway and grab some food. Nothing fancy, don't expect crab legs or sushi. If you're Asian the staff will be excited to see you and will ask you where you're from, because there are not that many in Martinsville. They also sell some merch like baseball caps if you want rep their buffet I guess. Friendly service. read more

Martinsville doesn't have any place that is good to eat Chinese food. This building is run down. It needs some cosmetic work. The food was alright/eatable. Dinner is $11 if you want a drink. Not impressed at all. Rice was so dry i picked out the few pieces of shrimp and threw the rice away. I ordered Beef Loman and it only had 4 pieces of beef in the noodles. I wont be ordering from here again. read more

I made an account on yelp to tell people to not come here. Everything except the staff was horrible. All the rices and noodles were cold or stale. All of the proteins tasted the same. The "salad" was chopped up iceberg lettuce. They couldn't even get the soft serve ice cream right. And the coconut shrimp left me sick with stabbing pains in my gut. The worst part of all is, even being hungry, I couldn't go back for more than one plate. This was the worst experience at a Chinese restaurant, if not any kind of restaurant I've ever had. read more

Well...it was edible. Yelpers, ya let me down!! Everything was clearly leftover from lunch. The owner came out and asked if everything was OK, we didn't want to be rude, so we just all shook our heads. They didn't clear our plates until we were all done eating, so the table was cramped. Solid china buffet. Lots of options hot and cold, including seafood and soft serve ice cream. The cantaloupe tonight was amazing-best I've had this year and the best fruit I've ever had at a Chinese restaurant ever. The price was right ($10 for adult dinner). Staff was very friendly. I try to avoid this place. My husband likes it and makes me eat there occasionally. The buffet is essentially just chicken items. Usually not that tasty. The egg rolls are so tiny they don't have good flavor because there is hardly anything in them. The crab rangoon is flat and crunchy with hardly any filling. I've tried this place twice. Both times it was the worse Chinese I've experienced. It was so hot inside everyone was sweating and that's not a good thing when your at a buffet. I wouldn't have went back but the kids had not been there and they insisted on going. Complete waste of money. Nobody was happy with the food or the establishment. We have eaten here maybe 3 times. The first time I was up all night with vomiting and diarrhea. The second time, my husband was up all night with vomiting and diarrhea.
