Lisa is super friendly and did such a nice job I had my baby and she pulled out her baby's stroller and walker for my baby to use. She did a fill and shortened my nails. Loved them.

They're both amazing. You won't be disappointed here. It's just the two of them right now so maybe call ahead of time to make sure they're not busy.

The hospitality is there. The customer service is definitely there. The talent is amazing. I like Lisa's work. She's been my mom's technician for a couple years now. She is always over satisfied. I got my eyebrows done by her also. Her hands are really gentle. She has amazing sight on shaping eyebrows. She also did my gel French manicure with consistency on the line work. Oh and she's not slow neither. Must come here. Michael is also an awesome funny dude. He does excellent pedicures.

Lisa and Michael were so sweet and provided such great service for me and my sister. As soon as we walked through the door, we were greeted enthusiastically and taken in right away; they wasted no time at all, which was great! Lisa knew exactly what I wanted with minimal direction, and she really knew what she was doing. Michael did my sisters pedicure, which looked so relaxing. He took his time and when my sister accidentally smudged the nail polish on her toe, he redid the polish to ensure that she was satisfied with the way it looked. Lisa and Michael even asked if my sister and I wanted to watch a movie or listen to a certain song on the TV in their shop. They really went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and welcome. Lisa's nail salon is my new go to, I'll definitely be back!

Lisa is amazing!! She made my 7-year old feel right at home and gave her exactly what she was looking for in color/design. My daughter gives her 100 stars, lol. I asked for a leaf design on my big toe and she came with the perfect green color and I absolutely love it! I also couldn't be happier with my natural acrylic set If you're looking for quality care, creative skills, good conversation, and a committed Nail Tech relationship, you need to hit up Lisa for an appointment ASAP. Lisa is amazing and gets me right every time. Her customer service is so warm and welcoming; I love bringing my loved ones in with me to get their nails done and hearing how much they enjoyed Lisa's services. I am very confused by these 5 stars. I was really hoping to find my new nail home today. Lisa was a sweet lady, however, the workmanship and customer service was disappointing. I scheduled an appointment, only to find out she double booked herself. She had me soaking my nails off for a hour before getting started. I empathized because she seemed so sweet. Well, once she started my service she apologized. But then proceeded to get on the telephone and talked the entire time. Did not check in with me on the shape of my nails, (horrible). 2 hours and $70 later... 'm super bummed by this situation. My nails look awful. Sloppy shape and paint job. read more

Just left Lisa's Nails. I stumbled upon it when I went through the drive through at Starbucks on California Avenue in Pittsburg. It is sparkling clean and well lit. Lisa and her brother Michael, were warm and welcoming. They were professional and had excellent skills. I had a manicure, a deluxe pedicure, and had eyebrows waxed. It had been a year since I had a pedicure and Michael took his time. Here was what pushed me over into ecstasy. I had a foot massage that was so relaxing, so therapeutic! It is 2 hours later and I am still tingling. So next time you are stuck in traffic on Highway 4, get off at Loveridge. Heads towards Starbucks sign. read more

Loved this place the first time, but omg $90 for a pedicure and gel manicure!! Prices are getting ridiculous and they didnt tell me cash only until after I was finished! I had to drive to an ATM and was late for my event that I was getting ready for. Definitely not coming back. :( read more

No clue what that other Yelper is talking about?! Michael does the BEST pedicure massage, maybe they're just used to those weak massages from elsewhere, but I always feel amazing after one of his pedicures (strong hands). And Lisa is an absolute sweetheart, she always rocks my nails, couldn't be happier! This place is most definitely worth a try... read more

I went for the first time the other day. Lisa did my nails and was very pleasant. I wasn't to happen to find out afterwards for a basic pedicure it cost $35 dollars. She only soaked, cut and paint my nails. It was rushed. The massage was really rough. I won't be returning. read more

I have to say it's really hard to find any quality work out in the east bay. I've been to a lot of nail salons in the east bay, San Francisco area and when I found this place I knew I'd keep coming back. Not only do you get quality work done you also get respect and treated like a human being. Not all nail places can be like that so what if they're a little more expensive than others, but you get what you pay for and it's always a great experience they make you laugh and feel relaxed and welcome all those qualities are what I look for in a nail salon. If I could give 0 stars I would do it. My sister treated my wife and daughter to bring up their spirits after putting our dog to sleep today. This lady was trying to wear the same gloves to service all of them! We had to insist on her changing gloves between pedicure and manicures. All the stations had a plastic barrier except hers and of course, that's where she was servicing them. The icing on the cake was she charged $40 for a manicure but all she did was a light trim and gel nail polish. That is not a manicure. BTW... it's cash only or Zelle. Unsanitary, overpriced and non existent customer service. read more

This is a follow-up to my original review…read more Time has given me a different perspective on what happened, and I felt it was important to come back and share it. After my experience here, I never returned. I also stopped recommending this salon to the women in my life because I could no longer, in good conscience, encourage anyone to spend their money where Women are not respected. At the time, I knew I had been deeply hurt by the way I was treated. Being belittled and dismissed in front of other customers stayed with me far longer than I expected. Looking back, I didn't realize how much that experience affected me until I found a new nail salon. Ironically, it wasn't until I experienced kindness that I understood how much confidence I had lost. During a recent appointment at my current salon, there was a disagreement over a nail color. My first instinct was to become quiet. I found myself afraid to speak up because I didn't want to be embarrassed or dismissed again. Before I knew it, I was in tears. The owner noticed immediately and asked what was wrong. When I explained, she stopped everything and told me something I'll never forget: "You're paying for a service. If we make a mistake, we'll fix it. My employee will be held accountable. We want you to leave happy and satisfied." No defensiveness. No humiliation. No making me feel like I was the problem. In that moment, I realized I had been carrying the weight of my previous experience. I wasn't crying over a nail color. I was crying because I had finally been treated with dignity. To the women reading this.....especially Black women, I want you to know that respectful businesses do exist. You should never feel like you have to shrink yourself, accept poor treatment, or question your worth simply because you're paying for a service. Your voice matters. Your concerns matter. Your business matters. I hope every business understands that people don't always remember the manicure or the polish color, they remember how they were treated. Respect costs nothing, but it means everything. Today, I support businesses that value their customers, listen when concerns are raised, and treat every person with professionalism and humanity. There was only one time where I had a nail come off the next day and they happily fixed it for me and didn't make me feel uncomfortable about it. My nails always last. I've never been able to wait a full 2 weeks for a fill because nails have always broken off of me from other salons. No complaints. They also own the nails art on Buchanan which Michaels lovely wife runs as well. I'm super picky about salons and nails, so it says a lot that I've actually found a place I like going to. I also wanted to add that they're prices are extremely reasonable and I'm always charged the same amount each time I go no matter who I see. Another plus!

I could not return until Monday and I was told that I had to get my nails fixed right then and there or come back and pay $20. I was on my lunch break and couldn't get my nails fixed so I declined and they declined to fix it later. I will NEVER return, no one knows how to do nails here and they should be put out of business based on other reviews. Mary did my nails and I could tell she was rushing but most nail shops know how to do quality work quickly, not her! There are so many other good nail shops in Antioch! This is terrible and a waste of my hard earned money.

Unbeknownst to me at the time, I'm allergic to a chemical found in gel polish as well as the solution used to build acrylic and gel nails. The reaction causes my skin to burn, blister, itch, and swell all at once. Now that I'm fully aware of this allergy, I only get dip nails. On 5/24/26, I called and made an appointment at Crystal's. I couldn't remember the original tech's (James)name because it had been years since I'd been back after previously experiencing an allergic reaction from gel polish used on my toes by another staff member. My appointment was at 11:00 AM, and they took me right on time. Initially, everyone was friendly. The woman who did my pedicure was very nice. However, when the male tech,not James, started my nails, I became concerned because he began filing my nails down instead of soaking them off, which is how every other salon I've visited handles dip removal. When I asked about it, he told me, "Oh, we don't do that anymore." The tech then started applying a thick paste-like overlay to my nails. I immediately said, "Wait, I want dip nails." He responded, "Yes, I know," and continued applying the product. Although the nails looked nice cosmetically, I knew something was wrong. By the time I got home, I started experiencing the same burning sensation that I had before during allergic reactions. I called the salon and asked to speak with the owner, but I was told she was not working that day. I explained what was happening and was instructed to come back in. Upon my return, the friendly atmosphere was completely gone. The staff repeatedly insisted that all of their powders were dip powders and explained that they simply do dip "a different way." They removed my nails while speaking loudly in another language, and the tech removing them was rough and visibly irritated. I was refunded my money and left, but there was still residue left on my nails. At that point, I didn't even feel comfortable saying anything further because I was made to feel like I was the problem. Needless to say, my fingers are now swollen because the dip was done "a different way", not the way James originally did them, and not the way any other salon has done my dip nails successfully without causing a reaction. My only recommendation is this: If a customer specifically asks for dip nails, please make sure there is a clear understanding of the process being used and the products involved, especially when allergies are communicated. Also... where is James?

The vibes are very calm as well, good r&b or pop music is often playing, and I realize I'm not really hit with those toxic nail polish fumes when I'm in there as they usually keep the A/C running or have a good airflow in their place. Overall, I come here when I know I need my nails done by people who care. Also, I love that Sophie is easy to reach when it comes to making an appointment. She is so responsive & sweet! I really enjoy coming here and catching up with the women that run this space.

Lisa and Michael are amazing! Let's just start by saying that!!! Lisa has been my nail technician for over five years....I'm super excited that she finally got her own shop...she is most deserving! Lisa's nails has a very welcoming atmosphere and is very clean. Lisa specializes in making sure you are very comfortable and you're satisfied with her work. Michael is such a great spirit, full of life, warm, friendly, and super funny! This nail shop is the best in the area. Customer service is outstanding and the prices are reasonable. The owner Lisa is very professional and takes pride in her work. Michael is creative and has a great sense of humor. I continue to refer my friends and family because I feel right at home when I go in for my pedicure and manicure or whatever service I need. I personally have been to Lisa's every two weeks for the last 6 months. She does all my nails, pedicures, and waxing! The reviews she's been getting seem to be wrong as i personally have paid with my credit card several times, For a 1$ fee. Lisa's does not offer any type of micro blade. She does however do some amazing nails, crazy cool designs, and trending polish! She's always open to learning new tech and is 100% about her customer service. read more

I love this place! The very moment I walked in the door it was like visiting family I had never met before. I was 2 hours early for my appointment and Michael said no problem and started my pedicure right away. The laughs and conversation made it feel like a barbershop movie. Definitely a must visit salon!
