Nice little shop with nearby parking. Workers were friendly and quick to assist me. Though there wasn't a very big selection, my boyfriend and I were satisfied with what we got (brownies, chocolate chip/confetti/snickerdoodle cookies). $1.50 was a decent price to pay considering the cookies were filling, and relatively large. Crispy on the outside and chewy + soft on the inside. Presentation was also cute and colorful. Overall, I'd say that the texture is better than the flavor. Nothing wrong with the flavors, but nothing explosive or mouthgasm-y either. You could make a sweeter cookie at home. Our favorite was the chocolate chip because it was fresh & the chocolate chips were big! Though we are happy with our purchase, we will most likely not go out of our way to return. Very cute small cookie shop, the staff was very kind and very informative. Perfect price to buy a few and not feel bad about it . However the cookies looked better then the taste. I must say maybe just a bad batch but they were a little bland for my taste buds I was expecting a whole lot sweeter and much more mocha flavor the best one I had was the almond joy coconut cookie. I'll have to give it a second try but maybe ask for a sample before you buy. read more

Gosh, these cookies are so good! My go-to is Lisa's chocolate chip cookie. It's got that nice crispy edge and the chewy center. It's heaven! From time to time, Lisa will also make delicious brown butter cookies. They are occasionally in a jar on the counter. Don't pass up the opportunity to have an Almond Joy cookie. Amazing! Lisa is wonderful, and so talented. Her decorated shortbread cookies are delicious works of art and staff is always busy filling orders for these celebratory and delicious cookies. Stopped here on a whim to kill time on our way to the Turlock Flea Market. I couldn't believe how cheap the cookies were compared to other bakeries. I had a chocolate chip cookie and a coffee for less than $3. The cookies are big. I had a chocolate chip one. I would compare it to Miss Field's chocolate chip cookie, as the outside was crunchy but inside was chewy and soft. You could tell it had just been made. My friend and I sat at one of the cute little tables inside to enjoy our cookies, and who I would assume is their owner brought us free samples. They looked like little cakes, the size of macaroons but were white and reminded me of confetti cake as it was multi-colored as well. She said it was a type of fudge, and it tasted exactly like cake batter. It was scrumptious. Also, they have specials on day old cookies; 3 for a dollar, which are just as good if heated up at home. read more

The store front is cute! I like the idea of this bakery. I believe the customer service could use a boost. Service with a genuine smile is always best. The cookies look great, they do. The ones I order weren't all that and looked better than they tasted. Maybe it was an off-day or they weren't baked fresh, not sure. But I wasn't super impressed. The gluten free cookies I tried weren't half bad, though. They weren't as moist as I've made at home but they were decent. Not what I was hoping for... Hoping that it was just an off day. Glad others have had a better experience. Maybe it will be better next time. :) read more

Great quality cookies. The environment is fun, I wish I had time to actually sit and enjoy the atmosphere but I had to take my cookies on the run. The "malt" cookies just came out so I ordered a warm one and got a snowflake butter cookie. 100% excellent taste. I will definitely return to this cute cookie shop. read more

The funfetti was amazingly tasty and the chocolate shortbread was super cute and very chocolatey. My husband got the chocolate chip and a peanut butter cookie, both of which were quite tasty as well. The Bay Area charges nearly $3 each for cookies this size, I'm super happy that Lisa's are a fraction of that cost. We will definitely be back. read more

We were downtown enjoying lunch and shops when we walked by the cookie jar and just by looking into the window I knew we had to go in for an after lunch treat and I'm sure glad we did. Cute little shop, smells delicious in there. Chocolate chip cookies are thick, soft and have a kind of cakey consistency, yet are crispy on the bottom. Perfect balance of salt and sweet and the big, flat chocolate chip buttons have a nice taste to them. The walnut ones could have had more walnuts in them, but really only a minor critique. And the fact that they always have amaretto coffee creamer (it's the little things in life) makes their coffee some of the best in town!
