Pit stop for lunch and did not disappoint. lil man ordered the bacon cheeseburger and fries, wifey got the Cuban sandwich to share, and I got a cup of cheddar bacon potato soup. Everything tasted great! Should have ordered the bowl of soup instead of the cup lol. Service was great as well. Seated right away and the waitress was very friendly and welcoming. Got our orders correct and super attentive. Plenty of seating inside. Snagged a booth that was comfortable to sit in. Glad that we came here for lunch.

LOOK NO FURTHER!!!!!!!!!! Only 3 miles from I80, definitely the place to stop for food. We are driving from the East Coast back to the West Coast and we wanted a good meal to get our second day started off right and let me tell you this place hit the spot. ABSO-FREAKIN-LUTELY DELICIOUS!! As soon as we walked in we were greeted with smiles and a very welcoming feel, which was nice because we all looked a hot mess. Our waitress, Jessica was not only helpful with suggestions she seemed to be a mind reader. We ordered just about everything she suggested, we even did the, "I can't decide which one out of these," her excitement and enthusiasm towards the scrumptious food made our choices easy and they did not disappoint. When she told us about the baked tomato soup, I had to try it. I love the idea of french onion soup but I don't like onions, so a creamy tomato french onion style was a no brainer. When I say we almost fought over it I'm not exaggerating. They have hit the jackpot with that soup and it is hands down a MUST for when you come here. Between the three of us one had breakfast, which those pancakes were mouth watering. One had a burger and let me just say the quality of the locally sourced beef was full of amazing flavor. The last was a panther chicken panini, that homemade garlic spinach dip was bomb and gave the sandwich that smooth flavor that just completed it. Honestly I could go on forever about how yummy the food was or how comfy it was just being in there was but you just need to come try this place. Thank you for a wonderful experience!!

Amazing, Amazing..simply amazing. Discovered via Yelp while driving from NY to State College, Pa but If you are within a 20 minute drive and looking to stop for a bite, this is your place. While the name makes it sound like a deli, it is in fact an adorable, country restaurant with a huge take out business. Inside or out..to stay or to go. The menu is enourmous, specials galore. Everything that we got was fabulous..a grilled shrimp cesar salad wrap,a turkey, cranberry and brie grilled sandwich, wedge salad, soup, and best of all a spectacular piece of real, true coconut pie. All was the best we have ever had anywhere, just incredible and beyond reasonable. While the name makes it sound like a deli, it is in fact an adorable, country restaurant with a huge take out business. Great service as well !

Amazing place to do lunch! It was busy but it was amazing. We had their baked tomato bisque, key lime pie, and grilled cheese. Service was amazing. Been all over the US it beats any chain out there. The look of the whole place is well maintained and clean as well.

Lisa's Milltown Deli is famous for their homemade soups. I recently tried the cheddar bacon potato soup, and it was delicious! The soup came out piping hot, loaded with potato chunks and topped with bacon and cheese. In addition to soups, they have salads, sandwiches, pasta dishes, seafood and some fun sides. Lisa's features new specials every night, and they can be found on their website. I've only had the pleasure of eating here twice, but during both experiences I was impressed with the service. The staff is friendly and clearly happy to be employed there. The venue is small and can get crowded during peak hours, so you might be better off calling ahead to make a reservation. Totally worth checking out if you're in the area!

The iced teas were not refilled for free. The cups used were styrofoam and were not reused for tea refill. So four straws, two teas and two styrofoam cups were $10.20. I prefer more environmentally friendly cups that can be refilled for free. The location was beautiful but close to a somewhat noisy road.

My husband and I were driving back to Baltimore from the Finger Lakes about a week ago and decided…read moreit was the perfect time to check out the Fence Drive In! The Fence Drive In looks charmingly old, and it does have a long history in Milton! It was once a tent restaurant (called "the Breezy Tent") which opened in the 1930s. The owners then built a permanent structure on the site in 1951. After several floods that almost destroyed the building, the owners sold it in 1975. Since then it's been owned by the Rabb family (now run by the second generation), and they've maintained the historical charm of the restaurant. Today, it's still a drive in with car hop service. The restaurant is right on the Susquehanna River, and they have several comfortable picnic tables facing the water with some twinkly lights over them, too. While this looked incredibly charming, we wanted the classic car hop experience for our first visit. So we drove up, parked, and waited just a minute or two for a waitress to come out to our car with a menu. Later, she brought our food out to us on the tray that clips on on to the driver-side window. It's an incredible bit of Americana that is almost gone now, but you can have that vintage experience at the Fence Drive In! Their menu has the classics you expect (burgers, hot dogs, milkshakes) with lots of seafood options as well (fish sandwich, shrimp). We shared a cheeseburger with everything (ketchup, mustard, onion, relish) and their scallop basket (lightly breaded and fried scallops) on top of French fries, with a side of coleslaw. The food was great. The burger was a classic. The scallops were really well fried - the breading was light the scallops got a crisp on the outside but weren't overcooked. The service was friendly and fast. They are a cash only establishment, but that just adds to the retro charm. It's a gem. It's not a just a quick restaurant to grab a bite at; they're preserving an American classic. So stop by the ATM inside if you need to, but definitely stop by The Fence In for a great meal and some nostalgia if you're anywhere near Milton PA.

The ambiance was so welcoming and chic; distress wood bins, succulent plant accents, decorative wall stencils. Even though packaging was damaged, or expiration dates were looming, the presentation was on par with a high-end specialty store from the city. The deli section offered an extensive selection of meats and cheeses, plus the prices per sandwich were mind-blowing! I browsed for a time through the isles and noticed the staff was on top of any line that formed in front. We originally went in for sandwiches while passing through town, but then I bought fresh desserts, some baking items and an eye drop brand that usually comes with a hefty price...all for about $10...the hoagies for me and my husband were only $8 for 2!!. They have meats, milk, bread and fresh produce in addition to non-perishables and cleaning supplies. I can't say enough about how neat this little place was. I'll be back!
