Baked French Tomato Soup and house salad
    Jose S.

LOOK NO FURTHER!!!!!!!!!! Only 3 miles from I80, definitely the place to stop for food. We are driving from the East Coast back to the West Coast and we wanted a good meal to get our second day started off right and let me tell you this place hit the spot. ABSO-FREAKIN-LUTELY DELICIOUS!! As soon as we walked in we were greeted with smiles and a very welcoming feel, which was nice because we all looked a hot mess. Our waitress, Jessica was not only helpful with suggestions she seemed to be a mind reader. We ordered just about everything she suggested, we even did the, "I can't decide which one out of these," her excitement and enthusiasm towards the scrumptious food made our choices easy and they did not disappoint. When she told us about the baked tomato soup, I had to try it. I love the idea of french onion soup but I don't like onions, so a creamy tomato french onion style was a no brainer. When I say we almost fought over it I'm not exaggerating. They have hit the jackpot with that soup and it is hands down a MUST for when you come here. Between the three of us one had breakfast, which those pancakes were mouth watering. One had a burger and let me just say the quality of the locally sourced beef was full of amazing flavor. The last was a panther chicken panini, that homemade garlic spinach dip was bomb and gave the sandwich that smooth flavor that just completed it. Honestly I could go on forever about how yummy the food was or how comfy it was just being in there was but you just need to come try this place. Thank you for a wonderful experience!!

Amazing, Amazing..simply amazing. Discovered via Yelp while driving from NY to State College, Pa but If you are within a 20 minute drive and looking to stop for a bite, this is your place. While the name makes it sound like a deli, it is in fact an adorable, country restaurant with a huge take out business. Inside or out..to stay or to go. The menu is enourmous, specials galore. Everything that we got was fabulous..a grilled shrimp cesar salad wrap,a turkey, cranberry and brie grilled sandwich, wedge salad, soup, and best of all a spectacular piece of real, true coconut pie. All was the best we have ever had anywhere, just incredible and beyond reasonable. While the name makes it sound like a deli, it is in fact an adorable, country restaurant with a huge take out business. Great service as well !

Amazing place to do lunch! It was busy but it was amazing. We had their baked tomato bisque, key lime pie, and grilled cheese. Service was amazing. Been all over the US it beats any chain out there. The look of the whole place is well maintained and clean as well.

Lisa's Milltown Deli is famous for their homemade soups. I recently tried the cheddar bacon potato soup, and it was delicious! The soup came out piping hot, loaded with potato chunks and topped with bacon and cheese. In addition to soups, they have salads, sandwiches, pasta dishes, seafood and some fun sides. Lisa's features new specials every night, and they can be found on their website. I've only had the pleasure of eating here twice, but during both experiences I was impressed with the service. The staff is friendly and clearly happy to be employed there. The venue is small and can get crowded during peak hours, so you might be better off calling ahead to make a reservation. Totally worth checking out if you're in the area!

Enjoyed a dinner with a family member. She had the Jamaican jerk haddock and I had the ribeye with shrimp. Both were huge and well prepared. But the dessert was a piece of art. Peanut butter pretzel ice cream pie made in house. Oh my god I ate the whole thing. Amazing.

Wow, this was my first time at Grams and I feel like I struck gold! What an awesome breakfast spot…read more There really aren't a lot of great breakfast places in the area, so I was thrilled to find this one. The food was delicious. I had the vegetable omelette and absolutely loved it. You'd think an omelette would be hard to mess up, but I've definitely had some disappointing ones before -- this one was flavorful, fresh, and cooked perfectly. They also offer call-ahead seating, which I highly recommend. We called on our way there and were seated immediately upon arrival. The service was outstanding. Everyone works together as a team, so we had different people taking our order, bringing out food, and checking on us throughout the meal. It made for such a smooth and welcoming experience. I definitely recommend stopping by Grams if you're looking for a really great breakfast spot!

I expected a wait, even with a call ahead, on a Sunday for brunch. Called ahead at 11:55 a.m. and…read moreour table was ready at 12:41 p.m. Grams is a small place with about 10 tables. They try to turn tables over quickly so don't expect the wait staff to be patient with you. Most of the wait staff are in their late teens and have not fully mastered the art of etiquette yet. Our food came out relatively quickly and all but one dish came out at the same time. My daughter's pancakes came out about 5 minutes after our food. Not horrible. The waitress did not check on us one time but one of the other wait staff came and refilled our coffee. The food all came out exactly as ordered and tasted great. Although they told us to take our time originally they seemed to want to rush us out. As is normal, one of the wait staff came over and asked if they could take any dishes that we were done with. This doesn't bother me at all as it declutters the table. Unfortunately, one of the people in our party didn't appreciate the wait staff reaching across her to grab a plate. They also bring you the receipt to the table so you can pay and then if you don't pay fast enough they bring an iPad to the table. Overall I had a fine experience. The food was good, the wait staff was adequate and the price was not crazy. For five meals, a $5 orange juice that someone ordered that they didn't like, one cold brew and two regular coffees came to $124 with a 20% tip.

It's nice because they know the workers. The food was basic but not bad. They just need to stir the hot foods more often so as not to dry out. I had a good salad and sirloin steak. The apple pie and bread pudding, both made in cast iron, were great! I had them plain but I know ice cream would've made them perfect! $45 for two. Not bad, I suppose. I recommend if you want a variety of basic buffet food in a friendly atmosphere.

I wandered into Bonanza thinking I was about to have a charming little meat-and-potatoes moment…read more What I actually walked into felt like the food-service equivalent of a jump scare. The buffet looked like it had been sitting out long enough to qualify for Social Security. The mashed potatoes had this weird geological crust on top--like a distant cousin of drywall--while the green beans were giving "found at the bottom of a pond" energy. And don't even get me started on the mystery meat... I'm not saying it was moving, but I also wouldn't swear under oath that it wasn't. If the Board of Health saw this place, the inspector would just silently put their clipboard down, walk outside, and stare into the distance until someone asked if they were okay. It's the type of restaurant that makes you question every life choice that led you through its doors.
