I went to Lisbon Auto for a second opinion. Back in February I bought a used Santa Fe. A month ago my car started making a weird sound, it was struggling to accelerate, and was eating up my gas. My husband took it to our normal auto shop (with new management) and they diagnose it was the catalytic converter. Unsure that this was really the issue I called Lisbon Auto. The owner told me to bring it up. Within 5 mins of having my car they diagnosed the issue. Not only did they fix the problem, they took me back into the shop and showed me everything so I would understand. It took about 15 mins for everything to be taken car of and they didn't charge me a cent. Also...it was NOT the catalytic converter! They saved me thousands of dollars. There is not many people in our society these days that would have done all of this for a stranger. I highly recommend Lisbon Auto. Lisbon Auto Repair Center saved my life and my beautiful jaguar. I handed them 3 broken bolts inside my 2006 Jaguar S-type. 2 June 2023--we only have one car, and the owner Kerre's business here was swamped with work today as usual, being the goto place in Lisbon for car repairs, and we had just discovered that we had a screw in our front tire. Kerre personally came out to see if our tire was repairable, and seeing that it was, he had one of his great mechanics, Andrew, take care of removing the screw and plugging our tire, after which he checked the tire pressure in it and all our other tires, and we were set to go! Lisbon Auto Repair Center is definitely a place to go, where the owner and his staff go out of their way to provide service to you as if you were one of their family. If you're hesitant to trust the local guy because he might rip you off, you won't have that problem here. I don't usually take time to write reviews but I am taking the time because this place is worth it. I am usually a do-it-yourself kinda guy but drivetrain problems is about where I draw the line. Making the appointment was super easy online and getting the estimate was fast and very fairly priced. The work was done quickly and there was no push to do any "extra" work. I'll still probably handle the oil changes myself but for everything else I'll be going back to Lisbon Auto Repair. read more
