They then went to the van, pulled out the new carpet and rolled the new carpet out in the parking lot on the blk ground to cut the carpet while stepping on it leaving blk marks. The owner Antonio got mad at me for being upset rolled up the carpet and attempted to leave. I don't wear shoes in my unit let alone roll my carpet on the parking lot ground. I went in the rec room and moved all of the furniture to allow enough room to cut the carpet. Why didn't they do this from the beginning or why didn't they cut the carpet at the warehouse? What was the purpose of measuring ahead of time? After rolling the carpet out in the rec room Antonio got mad again that I wasn't happy so again he attempted to roll up the carpet and leave. Please remember I now have exposed concrete in my unit. I'm a woman, I had to have my male cousin go to the rec room and work with them (Antonio & his helper). Once a man stepped in respect was given and the carpet was laid. They left my surrounding flooring disgustingly dirty! Dirt, concrete pieces, etc. They charged the bldg over 2k to install the cheapest lowest grade commercial carpet you can find. They only changed the carpet in the living room not the remaining 2 bedrooms. They also did not match the new carpet to the old carpet. It was a totally horrible experience from beginning to end. They were suppose to arrive at 9am and arrived around 10am. The store is literally 2 miles away. Horrible service by a horrible owner! I would give them zero stars but I had to pick at least 1 to make the review. Horrible! Absolutely horrible!

Months later during December's heavy rainfall, we had a problem with a leaking corner of the house. While the repair was somewhat expensive, D-W Interiors did a good job of replacing the wet base board, tack strips and padding. Sales rep Philip was a shining star throughout. I hired them because I wanted a licenced contractor to finish an ADU  where another contractor left off. I got charged a lot of money but the quality of work was completely lacking. Cabinets were not straight, the counter top was not installed correctly, appliances were not installed correctly and on and on we kept finding mistakes and short cuts  made by the workers they hired. We were given numerous excuses why this and that couldn't be done. Well come to find out all of what they denied could have and should have been done.  You'd be better off hiring the guys in front of Home Depot than using these guys. Anyway, so Gal Sharvit is the one that comes out to give the estimates and oversee the work(which he barely did).  What he did do was ask for payment before the work was complete. I thought he was the one with the licence. It turns out his father Simon is the one with the license and he never once came over to supervise the work nor did I ever speak with him. This seems illegal at worst and shady at best. Most of the time a guy named Ben was there with one of the day- laborers. He often would point out all the mistakes from the other contractor and say how his guys would have done a better job. Unfortunately for us, their work was so poor that we had to hire other guys to fix all the mistakes they made.  You can see these guys have written numerous 5 star  fake reviews for themselves. So I got a quote from this company through the property management company that looks after my…read morerental properties. He comes with an original quote of $5200 for 125 linear feet and a gate. I met with the guy to give him some specifications, and I told him I measured 115 linear feet (estimates are usually given about 10 feet extra of the actual measurement for what ever reason). so there was an option to do about 100 feet or 125 feet (again, not sure here he got the extra feet). Said he sent me the quote via email, never received it so I called him on the phone. I said I wanted the 125 feet quote and ended up charging me $600 extra. I'm like "how come I am being charged $600 extra?" he was trying to tell me he "forgot" to add the $600 for the gate. I'm like you forgot? that's not how that works. If I rent a place for $1000 a month and I turned around and wanted to charge $600 extra few days later because I "forgot" that would not fly. Dude got real quiet for like three minutes, then agreed to do the job for the original $5200. I called my property manager and told him the incident and assured me things should work as intended. Later that same day dude comes round and sends me a quote for an extra $400 for extra made up 8 feet. VERY unethical. Not the way you do business.
