Based on the 5-star reviews on Yelp and the pictures Lit Electrical had of other exterior outlet work that looked similar to my issue, I had Jose come out and look at my exterior outlet that had detached from the wall. It was a fire hazard and I was concerned about getting it inspected and sealed as soon as posible. I'm really happy with the end result. So much so, I've scheduled him for several other electrical jobs around the house within the next few weeks including updating kitchen lighting, adding a dimmer switch to the dining room and hardwiring a couple of pendant lights in the bedroom. Our first time was due to a socket outlet when my sister and I were doing hotpot. We looked up an electrician, and Jose responded quickly. We had him come over and he looked at the outlet and checked the circuit breaker. He took off the wall panel and very quickly found the problem and fixed it. He told us that because we had an older panel, the switches sometimes get stuck easily, and he told us what to do if anything like that ever happened again. My mom asked him to also check the garbage disposal because it hadn't been working for some time and we were thinking about replacing it because we thought it was completely broken. He checked it out, and helped her fix it, and again, showed her how to troubleshoot if it went out again. read more

He answered all of my curious questions in language I could understand (not a lot of techno speak). He cleaned up after he finished. He even took the trash to his truck! The work area was so clean that it was as if he had never been there. His fee was exactly as was quoted to me before I even hired him. Before I hired him, he quickly responded to many questions that I had about his business. The work he did consisted of troubleshooting a poor wiring job done by my handyman.
