Global Auto Repair in Tolleson is, in my experience, the best auto repair shop in the area. I say this having been to five different shops over the years. They don't have a fancy website, or even a dedicated email address and texting system. Nor do they provide elaborate diagnostic spreadsheets to customers electronically. It's old school all the way. No frills. Dial their phone number, tell them your problem and drop-off your vehicle. They don't do appointments. Despite these 21st century shortcomings I've had nothing but positive experiences at Global and that's saying a lot considering the charlatans that exist in the auto repair industry. I've taken three cars there over the years and while there has always been a lengthy turn-around, I've never been nickeled and dimed with bill-bloating diagnostics or exorbitant shop supply fees. You bring it in, they give you a quote, they solve the issue and deliver the vehicle for the price agreed upon. I can't say enough good things about Global. I only wish they were closer. read more

All I can say is 'WOW'! I found Global Auto Repair on Google based on their reviews. Everything I heard about them was true and Juan over delivered. He's great at communicating. He gave a competitive quote and then stuck to it. He even did additional safety checks for me at no extra charge. He got the job done early and saved me money on having to rent a car all week. He quoted a very reasonable deadline to get the work done and then finished early. We called to have a diagnostic done in our Caravan, and were told it would be a week before they could do it. That was fine - they had repaired a car for me before and I trusted them. We dropped it off, got a fuel pump diagnosis, and picked it up a week later. On the way home, it was still symptomatic. We called, and Daniel had it towed back to the shop. They had it for another week, said the first fuel pump was bad out of the box, they put in a new one. In the way home, it was still symptomatic. We called and it was towed back again. This is 2 weeks now they've had my van. I called a few days later and was told by Mike that they can't fix it, it's the TMPI, only the dealer can do it, and the part is backordered (This is all true, I called the dealership when I got home) I asked if my fuel pump was even broken and he assured me that it was. I do not believe you, Mike. I think you misdiagnosed my car, that your first fuel pump was fine, and that when you figured it out, rather than refund my 600$ And admit your error, you passed me off to the dealer. You also told me my van was safe to drive home when I asked about towing, and when I got home I found out that was untrue, multiple mechanics told me to leave it parked until it could be towed. read more

Dropped a car off that just had a engine replacement. They were to call us with a estimate for finishing putting it back together. Called severe times. They said they were short staffed with covid. 3 months later call us with 500$ bill. telling us the engine is bad. Mike offered to not charge us if we just gave him the title. We elected to pick it up. He only charged us 200$. get home They lied! they never tried to start the car. The fuel line was not connected and the clutch was not working. I was referred here by a family friend, Renee...she said nothing but great things about their service. I called and talked to Mike last week to explain my car issues/concerns. Mile was very pleasant, helpful and even knew of my friend. He informed me that they could look at my car early Christmas Eve. My husband and I dropped off my car and met Daniel, very nice and respectful, even had the pleasure of meeting Mike face to face, again pleasant and easy to talk to. Mike calls less than 2 hours later with an update about my car. I needed 2 new tires and one was more severe than the other. He provided me with a quote, with the other repair. Unfortunately, they didn't have tires in stock and remember, it's Christmas Eve. He told me that next delivery wouldn't be until 2 days later. He was very apologetic and emphasized how bad the one tire was and expressed that it would be dangerous to drive on it. He stated that they would rotate them to the back, in the meantime, until I purchased my new tires. Less than 15 minutes later, I received another call from Mike. He called me back to tell me that his boss said that they're going to get the tires to have them put on today! He and his boss said it was too dangerous and it wouldn't have been right to have me keep them! This hands downs has been THE BEST customer service, auto repair/mechanic and most importantly, TRUSTWORTHY company that my husband and I have dealt with since leaving in AZ!! My mind has been blown away after seeing the tires that they replaced and I am ever so thankful that God has covered my family and I while driving around on these horrible tires. I came into this auto shop with a loose cover from the underside of my Toyota Camry. 3 hours later I came back with it fixed and they refused to charge me saying it was a simple fix. Usually all other car repair joints, would try to charge you for whatever they can milk out of you. I have been going to Global Auto for the past four years, and while I've spend a lot of money with them, I would have spent more than double had I gone elsewhere. Recently, I got a quote from Firestone on front and rear brakes, with the front rotors replaced. Firestone was $645. For the exact service (and they got me in right away), it was $325. we Towed our car to global auto because it was heating up. After diagnosis we were told that our car engine was gone. We should be taking that car for scrap. Global offered that they could give us $105.00 for the car. My husband almost said yes to it. But then I asked around And found out that even scrap car cam be sold for more than $1000.00 . so we towed car back to home. We took car for second opinion. My husband just put little coolant in there and car was drive able . Other service person did diagnosis and said radiator was bad so he replaced it. Car is going good With changed radiator. No issues at all. So global tried to make money from my car. global intention was to keep the car and sell it on a higher price. WOOHOO! As good as it gets! According to Yelp thats their definition for 5 stars.... Let me tell you my Readers Digest Version of my story. Just moved from the East Valley to the CantaMia Community out in Goodyear, found a shop close to me and nice and convenient. That one didn't work out because the estimate to have some things done that they found were 4 times the amount of a simple LOF that I wanted done.So I moved on to one that had real good reviews but was twice the distance now and one of their (less than favorable) reviews was they took an hour to perform a LOF and a Tire Rotation... Really?? That's seems so alright to me! I go into Global tell the young man up front that I wanted my brakes checked, LOF and have a plastic splash guard that was loose up front.....Was definitely thinking that a total of around $ 200 - $350 amount...................... would be in the ballpark if the brakes needed a little to a lot of attention, (If you know what I mean?) I get a call from this place and they informed me my brakes were @ 85%, performed my oil change and added some fasteners to the splash guard, and came to a total of a break the bank amount of $24.82........!!!! If I had to describe this place in one word it would be trustworthy. I brought my wife's Ford in a month ago because I needed the oil changed and a new battery installed. I brought the battery in and a few hours later they called me and said the oil change was done and the battery was installed. I asked how much it was going to cost. They said they are only charging me for the oil change and they did the battery for no charge. Amazing! Yesterday, I took my 2001 Camry in for an oil change, transmission flush, and power steering flush. They called me and told me the transmission didnt need to be changed and only charged me for the oil change and power steering which was under $100 total. We've taken our car here, and our sons and both times have been very happy with the service and outcome. It did you take a long time but they do fix your car right and the prices are very fair. In all fairness I think it takes a long time because they are so good they stay very busy and so both times we've left our cars and they didn't get to them till the next day or the day after. They do call you before they start repair to let you know what's going on and give you an estimate on parts and labor.
