No frills. Dial their phone number, tell them your problem and drop-off your vehicle. They don't do appointments. Despite these 21st century shortcomings I've had nothing but positive experiences at Global and that's saying a lot considering the charlatans that exist in the auto repair industry. I've taken three cars there over the years and while there has always been a lengthy turn-around, I've never been nickeled and dimed with bill-bloating diagnostics or exorbitant shop supply fees. You bring it in, they give you a quote, they solve the issue and deliver the vehicle for the price agreed upon. I can't say enough good things about Global. I only wish they were closer.

I've taken our Honda Civic and Jeep Wrangler there and received good work at a fair price. But as the proprietor started making fewer appearances over the last year the vibe and responsiveness seemed to change. Service periods became longer, and the work became shoddier. On my last visit I had the spark plug cables replaced on my Jeep. When I picked it up it immediately began to misfire, but since it was closing time on a Friday just before a holiday weekend, I had no choice but to drive it home. After less than a mile it began missing became so severe that feared I wasn't going to make it. When I was able to get another appointment a week later, I was told I needed to replace the spark plugs even though I had no indication of that before the cable replacement. When asking how the tech had missed the significant misfires during his test drive after installing the cables, I got more than a bit of attitude from the staff. Attempting to ascertain why a vehicle displayed more problems after a repairs than before was a reasonable question from a loyal customer, but their unwillingness to provide an answer ultimately led me to seek another auto shop. This was disappointing. Daniel's is conveniently located and my experiences there in previous years had been good. I still have neighbors who swear by this auto shop and my recent negative experience should not deter you from giving them a try. While visiting my folks in Goodyear, AZ, I came out to a completely flat back tire on my car…read more I wasn't sure where to go to get help, so I 'Google'd' Tire Shops in Goodyear, AZ. Although many tire shops came up in my search, one company stood out to me -- that wasn't even a dedicated tire shop. It was Wilhelm Automotive. The reason they stood out to me was because of the glowing reviews from customers, like myself, who have limited knowledge surrounding auto-repair needs... or knowing who to trust! (Especially for those of us who tend to feel intimidated by auto-repair shops that have been dishonest, are all about 'up-selling' services & parts you don't actually need and/or those who are 'shady' at best. I was also surprised to see an auto repair shop that came up on a tire shop search. But right at the top of their reviews, there was a review surrounding Wilhelm providing excellent service that involved tires/tire fixes and replacement. After filling the tire up with air, I noticed a nail with a slow leak, and since they were so close, I drove out their way. I just have to say that deciding to go to Wilhelm Automotive when I was having an issue with my tire was the best decision I could have ever made. Not only did they fix my flat tire, they also looked at and fixed another tire that I had been having issues with. No shop in Los Angeles would fix it for me, insisting that I needed to purchase a brand new tire (which actually meant buying two new tires because of the all-wheel drive situation on my 2015 Subaru Outback). Even from the exact tire shop that I had originally ~ and recently~ bought 4 brand new tires from!!! Wilhelm Automotive fixed both tires no problem and with none of the issues I was repeatedly told there would be, by multiple shops I had asked to. (I was a bit shocked, and when I asked how they ended up fixing it... with a patch or plug? I was told that they did a combination of both to ensure that the tire is solidly and permanently fixed, is completely safe and 'as good as new')!! They also had my passenger side windshield wiper blade in stock (that I had asked about as well) and replaced it for me after fixing my tires. When I went up to the counter to pay my bill after my car was brought out for me (only 40 mins later, I was told 'you're good to go! we're good! just please consider using us for any other car repairs that might come up')! I could t believe it!! I was in total shock... they wouldn't even let me pay for the wiper blade and I pretty much had to force them to, at very least, take a tip from me!!! I was ~delightfully~ in shock the rest of the day. I have made my folks (& their friends & neighbors) promise me to ONLY go to Wilhelm Auto from here on out!! I'm sorry to report that this review is {finally} here ~ so long after-the-fact, but life as a hard-working single Mom has a way of coming in between such things. But exceptional, honest, professional and CARING service is never out of fashion -- nor is a review for it!! ********************************** It's incredibly rare to find an auto repair shop these days that encompasses all of these and more!! They told me they could not find any issues so they did a drain and recharge with dye. $600 I asked for a copy of the machine report breaking down amount removed amount put in. I was told they would email it they never did. After picking it up, I drove straight home and parked it. Today, I opened my center console and discovered that my coin holder was missing. This wasn't something loose that could have accidentally fallen out or been misplaced. It was mounted into the center console and required effort to pry out and remove. It was taken. I contacted the shop and spoke with Eric. He told me he checked the technician's toolbox and said it wasn't there, suggesting that I must have misplaced it. That explanation simply doesn't make sense given how securely the holder was installed. What's most concerning is that if someone felt comfortable removing and taking something as minor as a coin holder full of change, it raises serious questions about what else could potentially be happening with customers' vehicles and belongings. Eric suggested I file a police report and stated that their employees are "too busy to steal." I'm not looking to get anyone into legal trouble over a coin holder, but I do expect honesty, accountability, and respect for customers' property. This experience has completely broken my trust in this shop. I will not be returning for future repairs or service, and now I'm left questioning whether the work performed on vehicles is even being done properly especially since I never got the email. To current and future customers: I strongly recommend removing all personal belongings from your vehicle before bringing it here. Update June 5th it's been over two weeks since speaking with a district manager. He was able to pull up and send me the work that was done to my vehicle. I was over charged for the service "performed" he then told me I would receive a refund for the overcharge of service. I reached out to customer service about it then Nick Lee called again informing me they would refund me the over charge in another way but still nothing yet. I attempted to contact the shop directly before I came to do a rating, I got a response weeks after…read moreI reach out to them, and I haven't heard anything back since then. I am not satisfied with the service I received. When I initially took my vehicle to you on December 4th, my check engine light was on and my radiator fluid was leaking. I advised I only wanted the issue that led to my check engine light and leak to be fixed because that's all I could afford at the time. I was told it was the cause was the Intake Manifold Gasket. The total came to $5005.22 I got a call saying my vehicle was ready and I picked it up on December 17th (8 days after drop-off). I was told to check engine light was still on and they're not sure why, but they drove the car and everything is fine. I drove my car to enterprise to drop my rental back off and then to the grocery store. While on the freeway, to the grocery store, the car shut off. The coolant and engine overheating warming lights came on. (The issue I just paid $5005.02). I called your shop twice and no answer and then I sent an email. December 18th I received a call back and was advised they will come to my house and pick my truck back up. Two men came and picked my truck up. I got a call December 19th. Stating it was now the heat module management/unit that needed to be replaced which came out to another $1078.54. My car was picked up December 18. I did not receive my car back until January 7th. I was told twice before this date that I was going to get my car back. I ended up having to spend $726 for a rental car. My issue is I had to pay $2000 just to get my car taken apart and I wanted whatever the major issue was to be fixed. According to you, it was the intake manifold gasket, nothing else. The fact that I paid $2000 and the heat module management/unit was not identified as needing to be fixed/replaced, I feel like I got extorted. My car was not a priority even after I said I had a rental car, my car was at your shop for 23 days in total. January 7th, 2026 I picked my car up and I have been doing minimal driving. January 10th the check engine light is back on again. (The issue I just paid a total of $6083.56). Not including rental cars charges of $726. At this point I do not want to take my truck back because it is apparent and I mean no disrespect that your shop does not know how to fix my vehicle. I would like some of my money back.

The front suspension of my old Sonata had been making a variety of noises for a while; I took it to this Brakes Plus (Indian School and Jackrabbit) to have it checked out. They determined the problems were control arms and ball joints. They expeditiously repaired these, and so now -- no more squeaky front end noises! Yes! Silence is golden, right? I've been patronizing Brakes Plus and this particular location for a number of years because (1) the parts and labor charges are always reasonable (2) they apprise me of other issues I need to be aware of without any pushy up-sale techniques, and (3) everyone I've encountered at this business falls in the category of "good people". Specific kudos going from me to Rose and David, who always take good care of me in ways like offering coupon discounts without my even asking and ensuring warranties on parts are honored -- again without my asking. Always pleasant and considerate, these two. So, bottom line don't hesitate to take your vehicle to these folks to have issues diagnosed and repaired. They work on a lot more stuff than just brakes, so give them a call to see if they handle whatever repair you're looking for. My last review I remarked I'd give them a 5 star review if the rate on oil changes were more competitive, and I found that their rates are actually quite competitive, especially when you use the coupon discount you can find by going to their website. The service technician rotated the larger tires to the front and smaller tires to the rear incorrectly. This mistake caused the shocks and struts to blow out costing me $1300 in repairs and irreversible damage to the tires that need to be replaced. I spoke with the region manager John Louis and he said it would take about 2 weeks to retrieve and review the video and get back to me. That took a month. After continued follow up, we finally talked and they admitted the tech made a mistake. He said he would get back to me in a few days to discuss a resolution... That was 3 weeks ago. I've called and texted John multiple times but no response. He's ghosted me!!! Bottom line, if you can't do a tire rotation correctly, something tech's learn on day 1 of mechanic school, I wonder what can you actually do that I could trust would be done correctly. If ghosting a customer is there way of doing business, it clearly shows how they feel about you as a customer. Completely unprofessional on both fronts. I won't be going back and I suggest you go somewhere else too... I'll be taking them to small claims court and I'll be asking for more than the $1300 now.
