The decor is so plain. If it were not for the Sushi bar you would not feel as if you were in a Japanese restaurant. The Tranquil atmosphere is gone. The restaurant is very busy, we felt pushed to order. The waitresses look stressed out. The space between tables is very limited. Conversations of the people from the next table is very clear and audible. The New menu which was introduced a few weeks ago does not have the same items. The sashimi dish for one person is gone. Now you have sashimi for 2 at $60. Prices have gone through the roof.

Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. You can really tell that the kitchen pays attention to quality ingredients and careful preparation. The menu had a great variety of options, making it easy for everyone in our group to find something they loved. The service was just as impressive. The staff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, offering great recommendations and making sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. Overall, this restaurant delivered a fantastic dining experience. Great food, excellent service, and a lovely atmosphere make it a place I would happily visit again and recommend to others.

Spicy tuna roll looked and tasted like beat up tuna and the hamachi was drenched in soy sauce before getting plated on top of soy sauce and oil at the bottom. Why?! Waste of good fish or covering up bad fish taste? The only sushi roll that didn't have imitation crab or tempura shrimp was the Seattle amigo roll, but it was drenched in sweet sauce. 0/10 would not recommend anything we ordered if you enjoy good sushi...

For happy hour, I've had the rainbow poke ($7), and the buy 2 get 1 skewers, and the ebi croquette ($11). All were good but not that filling. I would say in terms of deals, you get more bang for your buck with the lunch specials. For lunch, I shared the mai premium lunch ($28) and the udon soup ($16). The premium lunch came with miso soup and 9 small dishes in a beautiful bento box. Definitely aesthetically pleasing and I liked the variety. The udon soup was also great with chewy udon noodles, sweet savory soup, and tempura shrimp/veggies. Service was attentive and nice. Parking available via street parking or you can pay in nearby parking garages. I wouldn't bring a big party based on the limited seating arrangements inside. All in all good food. I would consider coming back for their lunch specials.

I've been three times already, and it's plain out the best nigiri and sashimi I've ever had. The quality of the dishes is on another level. The variety of dishes changes seasonally. That's pretty much what you pay for, seafood that you will never get at any of the local sushi joints. Straight from Tokyo fish market to your seat. An experience that sushi lovers should indulge in once in a while.

Smoky, glazed eel meeting briny caviar in one bite ...I actually paused for a second on that one. Hotate with seasonal vegetables kept things light before the tachiuo don came through. Then the nigiri run: makogarei( marbled flounder ), kinmedai(golden eye snapper) kohada(gizzard shad), nodoguro(blackthroat seaperch) you can literally taste the sourcing in every piece. And the bluefin tuna trio (a 309lb catch straight from Yamaguchi) was genuinely the highlight of the night. Fatty, clean, melt in your mouth good. Ikura and Hokkaido uni kept the luxury going before the negitoro handroll and tamago brought it back to something simple and comforting. Cheesecake and matcha ice cream to close it out .. it was sweet without being too much. This one's staying in my top omakase spots in Miami. Worth the price tag, worth the hype.

The starter omakase runs about $68. It was around seven courses plus dessert, and honestly, every dish pulled its weight. Bonus points to the server, who gave clear, thoughtful explanations. Menu-wise, don't expect a parade of rolls they're clearly nudging you toward the omakase experience. But if that's the goal, they're doing it right. All in all, a really enjoyable meal and one I'd happily circle back to, next time to explore more of the menu.

This spot is located in an unassuming shopping center where a Nicklaus building is, which is perfect for when you're in the mood to keep a low profile. It's a small, intimate restaurant with counter top seating and a few tables. From the moment we walked in, the folks chopped it up with us and made jokes, which is great because it broke the ice in a way that felt like you were amongst friends. Excellent service all around. We sat at one of the tables as we intended to do a lot of talking and didn't want to be noisy at the counter. We decided to take the recommendation of the staff and did the omakase express option and a sake sampler pairing with three different kinds. No notes here because everything was great, there were several "MMMM!" moments (wish I remembered what each bite was!) and the first sake we got (pictured) was fantastic. Would definitely buy it to have at home. Big shout out to Allie, who covered our table on her first day, was very cool and definitely helped steer the dinner in the right direction. If you're in the Doral area and in the mood for some quality Japanese, definitely stop by here!

Server was pleasant and friendly but accidentally put in an order for an onigiri that we never ordered and forgot to put in the order for a black garlic ramen my friend ordered. When we asked about the missing ramen order he quickly went to the back to put in the order but ordered the wrong ramen which was a regular tonkatsu ramen. Another thing that was a little irritating was that the bathroom's paper towel dispenser was empty so you couldn't dry your hands after washing. Given that there was only one other table with two customers during the entire duration of our meal, it seems kind of inexcusable that the employees could not check and replace the dispenser while they were also using during the time of service. Regarding the meal, The black Garlic ramen was decent albeit slightly salty and the texture of the noodles was nice. My friends tonkatsu ramen was a little too creamy for the soup and came with thinner b noodles which was a little disappointing and unexpected as it was not mentioned in the menu that there were any differences in the type of noodles in each ramen choices. The sushi rolls were good. They were well made and flavorful. Overall I would recommend this place and think it's worth a try.
