It does get quite busy and is designed for a quick, purposeful in and out (buy, consume, leave :) )... not a Starbucks-like environment where you can camp out for hours and study or work. Service 4 stars: Staff were friendly, polite, courteous and attentive. The manager was very much present and making sure that everything was right. Menu 4 stars: Large selection of the usual coffee shop offerings, plus more: Craft coffee, matcha, shaved ice, Taiyaki (Japanese fish-shaped pastry shell with various fillings), Korean style buns, ice cream, Affogato, Boba, fruit juices, Korean and organic teas, smoothies and pastries. Service was excellent! There was only one employee working at the time, but he was very attentive despite the lack of help. It had been empty when I arrived, so I thought they might be closed, and when I asked, he addressed me and stepped out from the back to help me immediately. I hadn't been ready and said I needed a minute, which he waited very patiently. To not waste his time, I asked for recommendations, which he was happy to assist! He made the drink within 5 minutes, and even waited for me to come to the counter to pick up my drink rather than leave it unattended :) The royal milk tea was very good! The coffee and ice drinks are great and there is plenty of seating. We had to wait for another engagement so we opted to sit, drink, and wait here. The service is ok(?) It seemed this way at least from my perspective. The baristas and help were alright, less than enthusiastic. The boy who worked that day, at the time we came in, was not good at all. The girls seemed to be alright. I don't know what it was or what he might dealing with. But I felt the negativity, even when we were sitting near the bar/counter area. They offer SO much. I don't know how, but their menu is very long and almost overwhelming. On the bright side, you can say it's a one stop shop. It's not necessary in a dense location like Koreatown since there's so much competition, but I suppose it's nice to have if you don't want to walk too much. First, it's very dense and compact. Tables and chairs are shuffled and compact. It's easy to move them around, but it's clear that previous customers just shuffled them around and the staff just leaves the furniture as is after customers leave. Food quality is pretty standard and comparable to neighboring shops. However, the prices are very high. My guess is that the real estate is costly and the cost for preserving the variety of food is high. To offset these costs, the business sets its sales price very high. There's very little reason to go out of your way to visit this cafe. It's probably a place I would go if there was no other choice. That said, there's a lot of options nearby. If you can put off your need for instant gratification, it may be worth it. read more

If you are at the Galleria (but...why are you? lol jk~kinda~), Little Bean Cafe is a good option for a quick coffee. My friends and I stopped in and chilled at a table for a bit. As members of the Army, my friends and I did not mind one bit the BTS music videos playing. We would have preferred if they had sound...but still a nice visual, lol. What's cute though is all the older people sitting at tables hanging out. I can only hope my girlfriends and I will still be meeting up to chill over coffee and snacks when we're 80! Strange to have such high prices for a non-premium cafe. See the photos for yourself and decide: 1. Cheesecake is like the one you can get at Jack in the Box, except I'm sure the owners sliced this one in half because it was thinner than normal. 2. Macarons for almost $9 were 4 mini macarons. One normal sized macaron is probably like $2-3, so we could have gotten 3 big ones for the same price. Maybe they got these out of a Trader Joe's box. 3. Located in the corner of the top floor at the Korea Town Galleria, we almost missed this place while walking around the mall. This spot was pretty busy on a Thursday afternoon, surprising for such a small tucked away spot! The interior is really spaceous and many tables were full of people chatting or students working on laptops. The coffees look really popular, and they have a section where to-go coffees were coming out fast. The "snowflake" binsoos are definitely worth coming by for. The ice is actually like shavings of milky ice cream, and the sesame powder / mochi was a really great addition for flavor and chew. *Bonus: I'm lactose intolerant and I didn't have any unpleasant experiences after eating 2/3 of the binsoo. The price was on the expensive side ($15 for binsoo) and the size was a little smaller than expected. But I think the environment, menu options, and space adds a lot of value to the experience. Definitely a spot where you could go to get some work done or just relax for a few hours. It's also conveniently located; across is the food court, there are some small shops on the 2nd and 3rd floor, and there's a supermarket + bakery on the "1st" / lower level floor. read more

Great cafe especially for the young seniors. Many couples and many lady groups are sharing desserts, coffee time and conversations. There were groups of young adults as well. Very polite service. The servers will call out your order in Korean a couple of times. If no pick-up, they will repeat in English. There is plenty of seating inside the cafe, as well as a few tables just outside of the cafe entryway. This spot is located in a mall so parking is free. Heard about this place from a friend so I thought I would come try it out. One of the things that caught my eye was the mango shave, which has fresh chopped mango on top of light shaved bits of condensed milk, like an ice cream that melts in your mouth. When it came out, it was so much bigger than I was expecting-- it was a massive mountain in a bowl, heaping with mango. They call you up when your order is ready, so be sure to be ready to pick it up then, when the shaved condensed milk is at its maximum fluffiness. I wanted something a little warmer, so I ordered a pair of taikayi (one with custard filling and one with red bean filling) as well. As I perused the cafe, I had a chance of seeing them made: the batter is poured into the molds, then the filling is added, more batter is added to top it off, and then the molds are closed and flipped. When they came out, they were warm and crispy, and the fillings were oozing into my mouth as I took a bite. Would definitely order again! Next time I come back, I'll have to try out some of the drinks as well. read more

Worst experience ever! And total rip-off. Ordered a strawberry snow shaved ice and asked to add red bean but received just a half bowl of snow with a lump of red bean. When I told her that the order was incorrect, she said I had ordered it wrong and had to pay an extra dollar or two for the red bean and she would add some strawberry slices. The bowl was not even half way filled when it came out - SO different from the mountain of snow in the menu. I agreed to pay the $2 and asked if they could add more shaved ice like the picture. And they said NO! Because they used to give more but not anymore! And it's going to melt anyways, that's why they give so little. Total nonsense.
