Not as good as Bliss bakery in little Tokyo marketplace. Got macarons ($2 each) & choco bun ($3.95). 4/5 The chocolate macaron was the only 1 that had a strong enough flavor. 2/5 The rest of the macarons lacked flavor. I believe I got pistachio, coffee, & passionfruit. 2/5 The chocolate bun is nowhere near as good as PB's chocolate cream bun or Tous Les Jour's. There isn't enough chocolate in the bun. The top has a hard exterior & the whole bun hardened when I heated it thrice. Never happened with other bakeries.

Bosco Bakery Cafe is located in Koreatown Plaza on Western Avenue, right in front of H Mart. Since my husband and I were already on the other side of this shopping mall (at Cheesetella in the food court), we decided to check out this bakery to hopefully pick up some baked breads for the week. After browsing and walking around, we ended up purchasing: Custard Cream, $2.95- My husband picked this baked good and enjoyed the custard inside. Milk France, $2.95- This long baked treat is filled with a nice cream, and covered in powdered sugar. The powdered sugar will most likely be messy but is a nice tasty dessert that surprisingly wasn't too sweet with that messy powdered sugar. Sesame Bread, $3- I liked this bread, as it had a nice chew. Inside the bread is empty by the way. Chestnut Sandwich, $4- We picked this loaf for my mother so that she could take it to work. She enjoyed it. Manju, $2.75- My husband took this to work with him so I didn't get a chance to try it. ----------------------------- (Total= $15.65) There is quite a variety of baked goods that you can choose to purchase, each individually packaged. If I was in this plaza or nearby, I would most likely stop by again.

I'm so used to all the Korean bakery chains that I'm a regular at that for some reason I didn't think much of Bosco. I walked by it many times while at the Koreatown Plaza and like Julia Roberts said BIG MISTAKE! HUGE. But now that I've had it several times. I'll never NOT stop again when at the mall. I love picking this and that from their shelves, creating my own personal wonderland of carbs. I like their brownies (both the chocolate and red velvet) with their creative designs and not-too-rich flavors. You'll never go wrong if you get Bosco's Basque cheesecake. It's creamy but light with great flavor. Now let me introduce you o the star of their show. The Hot Dog Bun from Bosco Bakery Cafe is the best I've ever had. No joke! I grew up with these as my go to at Korean bakeries and this was my favorite flavor combination I've ever had. I'm praising this item to the highest! :P Don't overlook Bosco Bakery Cafe like I did. They have good prices, including on full size cakes, plus seating if you want to grab a coffee and chill with the hymonees and hadapogees of Koreatown Plaza.

MOLD!!!! Stopped by today and bought some pastries. After a few bites on their Almond Mochi Saboro scone it tastes sour and noticed the mold!! Based on the prior reviews it looks like molds are common to this place!!

I love this bakery. Finally found a really good bakery and service is awesome. Me and wife fell in love with the mocha bread, cafe bun, and the cream cheese mochi. Oh and custard cream is so delicious. I still haven't tried the coffee but it's smell delicious. Plenty of parking

Located inside the Koreatown Plaza, Bosco Bakery Cafe is conveniently located near H Mart and other small businesses. Their selections are a wide range. I've only tried a chocolate/vanilla cake and I have to say it was terrible. Very oily and not good texture. I ended up throwing it away after a couple bites and the worse part it costs $8 after a discount. I don't know if I would come back to try the other stuff.

Just wanted to shut out to all the people who love Korean cakes this bakery is absolutely amazing such a large variety of things to choose from . When you walk in, you can't resist that great smell . Pricewise is very reasonable .

This bakery honestly left me speechless!!! Aclose friend of mine would often visit with her hubby to pick up their favorite pastries and wanted to introduce it to me. It's pastry galore if you ask me. You would definitely walk out of there broke. It's too much to choose from at one time. The customer service is beautiful and everything is fresh. What I love about the location is that it's conveniently in the koreatown plaza. So parking isn't an issue. From cakes to cookies and pies, it's definitely a place for the taste buds. A repeat visit is very much necessary. My friend enjoys their croquette bread. She shared it with me and I must admit, it can be quite addictive. I looking forward to another visit because I enjoyed myself very much. I felt welcomed and to be honest that feeling alone makes me want to return and try other pastries.

Some kind of sponge cake with strawberry jam, walnuts and raisins. Super dry.

I walked into this store and not sure I was compelled to buy something. Perhaps it was the nice European decor or the enticing names of some of their cakes. I ended up buying a piece of the orange flavored sponge cake and some 3-layer sponge cake with strawberry jam, walnut, and raisin filling. The cakes themselves were extremely simple which made them quite overpriced. The worst part was the sponge cakes were so dry that I couldn't even swallow without some coffee or tea. Perhaps they should consider adding some Greek yogurt in the batter? Very disappointing. Probably the worst Asian bakery I've encountered.

3.5 stars. Korean bakery conveniently located in the hmart Plaza. Lots of pastries to choose from. They all looked pretty and fresh. Some breads were unexpectedly sweet with too much sugar for my taste but still delicious. I just couldn't finish the whole thing in one setting. Will be back to try more.

I bought some cookies in the pre packed ones, one of the cookie was brown colored. I thought it was mocha or coffee flavored because of the colors. But it was over cooked and tasted was burnt taste. They shouldn't put this one in the counter for sale!

Better than the regular staples in Washington like Tour Les Jours and 85 Degree but maybe it's because it's...different as in, we don't have these back home. The hot dog bun was good, the bread was sweet and smooooshy. The sandwich was just okay, really ketchup-y. The croquette was pretty good, tasted like a dumpling filling and it was warm. Least impressive was the brownie, you'd think there'd be a lot of different textures and flavors but it was all soft, not fudge-y but sort of cake-y. I got a smidge of salt on one part of the pretzel and that was nice but overall, just okay.

Today May 5 -2023 around 6 pm something I'm buy this cake and I check the cake is already moldy,

The ham is rolled up and in the center of the croissant, so make sure you bite into it lengthwise to get the ham and cheese all together. Fantastically savory!!! Elderflower Rhubarb: Not as sweet as it appears to be!! Delicious--the elderflower notes come through as you chew, and the ratio of jam to bread is generous. Chocolate Hazelnut Pain au Suisse: Tasty, chocolatey, and hazelnut flavors throughout. Feels like a refined Ferrier Rocher wrapped in bread. The key is to go on a weekday to avoid the line, as the weekend can definitely get busy. This last time I finally got to try the tofu cream topped croissant, which was ~to die for~. It was a little bit savory with the miso but still (not too) sweet. This felt super original and I would definitely recommend. I also tried the pistachio croissant and asparagus danish this time round and both were extremely good as well. I would have no qualms with re-ordering either. The only note is the pistachio cream is pretty runny, so it's hard to cut and share, as the cream just oozes out. The workers there are super friendly and kind. The drinks are also very good if you're looking to get a little extra treat as well.

I got a sausage bbang, a chocopie, and a dalgona latte. The sausage bbang was soggy on the bottom and honestly tasted like it was from the day before. The chocopie barely had any filling, just a thin layer of marshmallow and jam. It honestly felt like they used most of the marshmallow for their Dubai choco cookie because it's probably more profitable, instead of properly filling the chocopie. If that's the case, it's better not to sell it at all than serve something like that. The dalgona latte was also disappointing. With ice, the drink only filled to the bottom third line of the cup marking. Clearly, they skimped on the milk. There was also a weird moment when I paid. My total was $15.25 and I paid cash, but I was given $4.75 in change. When I said it should be $5, she seemed confused and asked what I meant. I told her I literally gave you a quarter right now, and she questioned it before eventually giving me the correct change. I'll give her the benefit of the doubt and assume it was a mistake. I understand times are hard, but charging more for products that clearly had corners cut doesn't sit right with me. It just comes across like there's no integrity. Clearly the quality and portions are going downhill. I wasn't even planning on writing this review. I was going to stay quiet, but the chocopie really ticked me off. I'm not going to pay for food that skims on ingredients and shortchanges customers by charging more for less, so this will be my last visit.
