Super friendly and cute coffee spot. Keep in mind parking is strictly on the street the valet is not for the coffee shop. Kinda secluded but still amazing and worth the trip. I tried their Americano with thick lavender creme and it was subtle yet nice. Never had an Americano like that and I didn't hate it. I say that because I normally do take my coffee on the dark side with zero to a splash of milk. But this did look appealing so I said why not be different today lol They also had food tried the bulgolgi burrito it was okay very hearty on the meat and had two eggs on it but I felt something was missing? It wasn't bad def massive and I felt like I had enough for 3 total meals lol Ventured out here after taking Ruby out to the vet hospital and needed to kill time for pick up. Def would be back again. This has become one of my go-to study spots to do work at :D I really like how they have a ping pong table to play at whenever there's a small break in between work sessions. Cute little shop that has great parking options and a lot of seating (both indoor and outdoor). I've gotten their matchas and their coffees. Their matchas are fine, and their coffee is nice. My impression of the place is that it's airy, with large windows in an industrial modern looking building. Immediately entering the shop, I was greeted with the smell of fragrant coffee. The barista was helpful in sharing all the matcha options I could get so I chose the matcha with lavender syrup. The matcha had a deep green color and blended nicely with a hint of lavender so it wasn't too sweet. Price point felt a bit higher for the flavored matcha options. Bitter matcha and that's a good thing!! There's definitely some places that put way too much milk or make their matcha lattes so sweet that you can't taste the matcha anymore and kills the whole vibe. I originally got the matcha latte with no sweetener but I went to go get some vanilla sweetener added bc the matcha was too bitter even for me. Also ordered a croissant and it was alright. I wasn't in a bread mood in the morning so I guess I should have just avoided that lol. The workers were super nice and understanding as well. They even remade my croissant since it was overcooked. I didn't mind either way but that just shows how dedicated they are to good service. I came here because I wanted to try their Guava Matcha latte. Unfortunately, it just did not hit for me. I felt like the combination was a little odd and the guava added a very grainy texture. I don't know when Muso opened in West Adams but I made it here in January 2025 and wish I'd discovered them sooner. I came here around 9:30 am on a Sunday morning and the coffeeshop was super quiet. There was no line to order and the staff who were working were friendly and welcoming. There are a couple of seats inside the coffeeshop but it's very tight inside. Most of the seating is outdoors, and there are a mixture of low tables and chairs, as well as benches that are more optimal for anyone who wants to work on a laptop. I got two drinks, which came out very quickly. I got the coconut matcha cream top and the chai latte. Both were excellent. The coconut matcha would be a refreshing drink on a hotter day. The chai latte was comforting, and not super sweet as they can be sometimes. I'd rank this as one of my favorite coffee shops in LA and will be back. read more

mu.sō Coffee is such a beautiful addition to the West Adams area. The space is clean and modern, with a calm, welcoming vibe that makes it a great place to relax or get a little work done. Although the shop itself is on the smaller side, there's a large outdoor patio that gives you plenty of space to sit and enjoy your coffee. Dogs are welcome, and you'll usually see plenty of them on weekends. The coffee is consistently delicious, and I love their creative cold foams, which are usually seasonal and always fun to try. The first thing that's undeniable at this place is how beautifully it's designed. I'm a big fan of the minimalist storefront and interior, while still maintaining personality through the fridge of offerings (never seen a fridge burrito in a cafe), cozy seating, and some books to flip through while enjoying your drink. The outdoor seating area of course is a huge up - great for studying, reading, or a weekend yap session with a good friend. Onto the drink - I got a Lavender Cream Top Americano. Drinks overall are on the pricier side and this wasn't an exception, but I could at least tell the coffee quality was good! The lavender cream is also quite tasty and and the shop doesn't skimp on the amount to allow you taste the drink as a whole rather then as two separate layers. last week I went here with my coworker to try out some drinks, and I had my eye on the guava matcha. the place itself is very nice inside and outside too. there's a lot of tables outside that get the right amount of sunlight and it's a bit tucked away from the street view which is great. they have a bathroom downstairs that I believe they share with another business, just ask for the key. street parking is available around the cafe. so I ordered my guava matcha while she ordered the dutch mocha, and then we both got the Virtu protein bowls which I have had at another cafe (I think Virtu makes their bowls in an unknown location then sells them to cafes), it's always tasty just expensive lol. the matcha was honestly not my fav! the guava flavor at the bottom was delicious and fruity, but the matcha had no sweetness whatsoever so once the guava was mixed in, the drink tasted like nothing. I had to add some simple syrup at their little drink station but I wish it already had come a bit sweet. my coworker did enjoy the dutch mocha but she also had the same complaint as I did, it was barely sweet. that's really the only downside but I suppose it's good if you like your drinks without any sugar at all lol. read more

Truly exceptional coffee, prepared with care and precision, in a great and beautifully architected location. A stunning addition to the West Adams hit list! Operated by a few friendly barista/owners, who clearly have put a lot of thought and effort into crafting this experience. The pastries are pretty wonderful too, and they have some ready to go options in the fridge if you're in a rush. Parking can be a little funny but I've never had to search for long. Inside, they have a couple tables for seating or a lot more seating options at their spacious patio. For their menu, they have a nice selection of different pastries, coffee, and matcha to choose from. I ended up getting the Lychee Nectar Matcha Cream Top and it did not disappoint! Stopped in this very modern, sleek coffee shop on a Saturday morning looking for a matcha. There was plenty of street parking with thankfully a short line. I was planning on a simple pure matcha which I rarely see out these days, but when I saw the option for a guava iced matcha latte I had to try it. Came here for their famous guava matcha latte since I was in the area and had a few hours to kill. They do have their own parking lot in the back but I found free street parking the block prior and walked over. The entrance is slightly hidden but there is a sign marking where to head into. There is a bunch of outdoor seating, both in the front and back of the cafe, but limited indoor seating. Because it's further close-ish to the ocean, it can definitely get chilly here with the wind even on sunnier days so I definitely recommend bringing a jacket. Service was super quick. This review is specially for the matcha, and I would not recommend this cafe for it. We tried the guava and double iced matchas and they were pretty small for being $7.50 plus paying for oat milk. The guava puree was very good and didn't taste artificial, without it the matcha was almost undrinkable though. The double matcha was not sweetened at all which I'm not sure if I had to ask. It was bitter but also very subtle. The barista seemed to have a slight attitude as if he was almost annoyed to take our order, and we were pretty bummed we came around 2pm and they had no pastries.
