Super friendly and cute coffee spot. Keep in mind parking is strictly on the street the valet is not for the coffee shop. Kinda secluded but still amazing and worth the trip. I tried their Americano with thick lavender creme and it was subtle yet nice. Never had an Americano like that and I didn't hate it. I say that because I normally do take my coffee on the dark side with zero to a splash of milk. But this did look appealing so I said why not be different today lol They also had food tried the bulgolgi burrito it was okay very hearty on the meat and had two eggs on it but I felt something was missing? It wasn't bad def massive and I felt like I had enough for 3 total meals lol Ventured out here after taking Ruby out to the vet hospital and needed to kill time for pick up. Def would be back again. Seeing all the amazing reviews, I made a point to swing by on a Saturday morning. Honestly, the location is a little hard to find-- there doesn't seem to be a dedicated parking lot, so street parking it is! However, there's also not a lot of street parking either. I ended up parking in the neighborhood, but it was one of those 4 parking street signs layered on top of each other, designed to confuse the heck out of you. I ended up taking a photo and running it through Gemini to make sure I was safe to park. Okay, parking aside, mu.so is located in large black office building-- they do put out a little "coffee" sign on the sidewalk. When you do see it, the actual coffee shot is small, but there's a whole backyard patio area with plenty of space for you to hang out. Anyways, I went with their iced americano with lavender cream top. I've been to a lot of coffee shops, but haven't run into a lavender cream top-- so of course I had to try. I thought it was pretty good, the cream top was a good pairing w/ the americano-- it sweetened the coffee, without making it too sweet or heavy. The lavender brought a light floral flavor to the coffee. While it's nothing life changing, I did think, it's a solid cup of coffee, it's worth a try, but probably not worth a dedicated drive over. I also picked up a blueberry muffin, because honestly, I love everything blueberry. I'd pass on it, but I'd recommend trying something else-- like the crossiants, which looked tastier. The café immediately caught our eye - it sits in the corner of a brutalist building with a clean industrial aesthetic indoors. The overall space feels surprisingly relaxing! This has become one of my go-to study spots to do work at :D I really like how they have a ping pong table to play at whenever there's a small break in between work sessions. My impression of the place is that it's airy, with large windows in an industrial modern looking building. Immediately entering the shop, I was greeted with the smell of fragrant coffee. It's my new favorite, local cafe. The service is always kind and friendly. They are exceptionally quick with service and getting your drink to you. Always helpful. Always personable. It gets busy in waves but somehow I always find a spot to enjoy, relax, and write. I will typically get an espresso tonic or Iced Americano with a lavender cream top if I'm feelin fancy. I don't know when Muso opened in West Adams but I made it here in January 2025 and wish I'd discovered them sooner. I came here around 9:30 am on a Sunday morning and the coffeeshop was super quiet. There was no line to order and the staff who were working were friendly and welcoming. There are a couple of seats inside the coffeeshop but it's very tight inside. Most of the seating is outdoors, and there are a mixture of low tables and chairs, as well as benches that are more optimal for anyone who wants to work on a laptop. I got two drinks, which came out very quickly. I got the coconut matcha cream top and the chai latte. Both were excellent. The coconut matcha would be a refreshing drink on a hotter day. The chai latte was comforting, and not super sweet as they can be sometimes. I'd rank this as one of my favorite coffee shops in LA and will be back. read more

I checked out mu.so coffee in West Adams, and it's a cool spot. It sits right on the edge of Culver City and features an exterior design that catches your eye immediately. The space offers plenty of room to get work done, and the outdoor patio makes for a great setup to sit outside and enjoy the day. mu.sō Coffee is such a beautiful addition to the West Adams area. The space is clean and modern, with a calm, welcoming vibe that makes it a great place to relax or get a little work done. last week I went here with my coworker to try out some drinks, and I had my eye on the guava matcha. the place itself is very nice inside and outside too. there's a lot of tables outside that get the right amount of sunlight and it's a bit tucked away from the street view which is great. they have a bathroom downstairs that I believe they share with another business, just ask for the key. street parking is available around the cafe. so I ordered my guava matcha while she ordered the dutch mocha, and then we both got the Virtu protein bowls which I have had at another cafe (I think Virtu makes their bowls in an unknown location then sells them to cafes), it's always tasty just expensive lol. the matcha was honestly not my fav! the guava flavor at the bottom was delicious and fruity, but the matcha had no sweetness whatsoever so once the guava was mixed in, the drink tasted like nothing. I had to add some simple syrup at their little drink station but I wish it already had come a bit sweet. my coworker did enjoy the dutch mocha but she also had the same complaint as I did, it was barely sweet. that's really the only downside but I suppose it's good if you like your drinks without any sugar at all lol. read more

The outdoor seating is absolutely beautiful as there are plenty of plants and the building itself is quite modern and a comfortable space to do work or to chat with friends or family. Bitter matcha and that's a good thing!! There's definitely some places that put way too much milk or make their matcha lattes so sweet that you can't taste the matcha anymore and kills the whole vibe. Came here for their famous guava matcha latte since I was in the area and had a few hours to kill. They do have their own parking lot in the back but I found free street parking the block prior and walked over. The entrance is slightly hidden but there is a sign marking where to head into. There is a bunch of outdoor seating, both in the front and back of the cafe, but limited indoor seating. Because it's further close-ish to the ocean, it can definitely get chilly here with the wind even on sunnier days so I definitely recommend bringing a jacket. Service was super quick. Guava matcha latte 2/5, I am so sad to report that this is not good :( the guava by itself is sweet and tastes great! the matcha by itself is bitter and a more traditional matcha! but together?? unfortunately they just did not blend well for me :( With all the good reviews, I would recommend getting a regular matcha instead. read more
