The food tasted good and I liked how the workers were considerate of changing gloves after handling the money as they went to make the food. It's pricey, but what's not, here in LO? My only complaint is the cleanliness of the store. Doors are smeared with fingerprints (truffle oil?), the bar by the grill had quite a bit of dust buildup under the napkin holder and non-food particles sprinkled all down its surface. Tried this place out for the first time while I was waiting for my number to come up at the DMV and what an all around disappointment. 20 minutes for a burger with only four other customers in the place and a few to go orders . To add insult to injury, the burgers aren't much bigger than happy hour sliders.The two people behind the counter didn't seem to care about the long wait and barely spoke to the customers. The very worst "restaurant" I've ever been in. Hiring kids for the most part... some of which can hardly speak English. Very high price compared to the quality and size of a basic burger. I ask for no lettuce but as you can tell by the picture the children don't know what that means, Lake Oswego schools might be lacking. This location reminds me of the "Absent owner" term. I'm filing a complaint with the health department when I'm done posting. (Environmental Health Program) The chicken burger was covered with lettuce, the cook was asked if the burger was plain before I left the location... "yes sir it is" he stated. The bathroom was disgusting. Standing water on the floor around the toilet. I held the door open (because of the smell) and only washed my hands. The food was meh. That's what I found out recently when I brought my 14-year old son, who quickly polished off a bacon cheeseburger and side of fries. This is the second location and first time I have eaten at Little Big Burger. I swear the workers of both places are like deer in headlights thinking I am posing an SAT exam question when I ask how can I redeem my birthday treat free rootbeer float. This time, the first worker got another worker to help me. He had to start over the food order I had already gone over with the first worker (unknown why she canceled it). Then something strange happened on the app when trying to redeem the birthday treat. Eventually the worker just manually added item and waived the price of it. Was it that difficult? Burgers were tiny but decent. My kids Cheesburger and hamburger were dry as normal well done. 6/10. I ordered double patty cheeseburger as medium rare. An interesting little big place to eat. After the Columbia store this is a quick stop to eat. The cook everything to order so it will take some time to get your order. The place is very noisy and the food music doesn't seam to quite down the load talkers. Ok. I ordered a pepperjack cheese burger with bacon , frys and a soda. $11.50 plus tip. Tip what you think it might be worth because you never know what the service is like before hand. It's a guessing game, eh? They also sell beer here. In cans only. Nothing like having your beer tast like aluminum and chemical lining. Just yummy! But at least have beer. The burgers are little from $4.75. But they make up for it with extra frys. The burger is tasty I do say. Mcmenamins frys are still the best in the land. Five Guys are no. 2. Then it's a fight with some local and franchise fast food. Then the frys at the grocery store. The truffle fries were very delicious, but they didn't give me enough sauce to go with them. I eat red meat everday. I've tried almost every burger joint in the greater portland area - this place has the best beef I've had. No Smash burger nonsense, a nice thick patty cooked medium. They also use tillamook cheddar, and have their own special ketchup that reminds me of Whataburger spicy ketchup. I will be returning here again, and again, and again to get my red meat fix! This is a super cute little space in a strip mall in Mountain Park Lake Oswego. This area definitely needed some more food choices so this is a good addition. The menu is simple much like the In and Out Burger but without the crazy line around the neighborhood (I'm looking at you, Keizer). Quick and easy and plentiful. Order one basket of fries for you and your friends-they come in one size huge. The burgers are small but that's all that you need and they come with a lot of ingredients on them which is missing from many fast food places. This isn't your momma's drive thru burger this is definitely more upscale which is why it fits in so well in LO. Give it a try. I'll be back for sure. read more
