It's been a while since I've been to a LBB- always loved their fries! So today, decided to make it down to my neighborhood LBB. I can't complain about the food... because I never received it. So instead of eating lunch, I shall tell you a tragic tale. I place an online order, walk in with a big grin, give my name, and I'm told my food will be ready in 5 minutes. Great- So excited! I overhear that the guy running the grill is in training- cool, I've got time. I sit down at the counter and notice there is a bag ready to go, with the obvious signs that it contains truffle fries! Still so excited! I wait... and wait... and wait. Meanwhile, watching that greasy bag get darker and darker. That person still hasn't come to pick up their order- how sad. 30 minutes go by. I say "No rush, buuut I think maybe you forgot about me?" Then of course I feel guilty. (Because my words are nice and polite... but Im told my face doesn't always match! Cheesy smile, haha, I promise I'm nice!) I was told 5 minutes, 30 minutes ago. Am I being pushy?? They ask for my name again. They walk over to the bag that I have been watching change colors... and they set it in front of me. That was my order this whole time. GASP! Guys, long story long- I walked out without truffle fries. I hope customer service will soon return. But not today... not today. read more

So we were visiting family at the hospital and went to Little Big Burger while our family member was napping. There really wasnt anything bad about this place. The atmosphere was just ok. You order at a kiosk, no one said hi or welcome when we walked in but thats OK. There was one table large enough for our group with one person already sitting there so we had to sit at two different tables which I know is not the resturants fault at all. You only need one order of fries, the portion size is huge! The ketchup is a little too spicy for my kids but I loved it. The fry sauce was also delicious!! The burgers were good but not great. I thought they were small but they tasted fine. Id give this place another try for sure. read more

I'll couch this review by saying I've worked in food service & fully understand basic health code rules. 10/21/25 around 5pm, two people ahead of me already ordered & their food was already being made, no other customers. Not busy. I placed my order through the kiosk at the counter & waited for my food. Nothing to do but pass the time watching the food get made!Two guys working. One guy doing fries, one doing burgers. The guy making the burgers left patties on the grill & turned around to face the restaurant to access the prep counter, took his gloved hands, grabbed a napkin, blew his nose repeatedly and really dug around in there, like REALLY dug around! Fully expected him to take those snotty nose digging gloves & chuck them in the garbage before going back to the food. NOPE! Took those nasty nose gloves and shoved them right into a bag of buns, then grabbed a fresh patty to make my order. When I saw this I went up to the counter and politely asked if I could cancel my order, the other guy (not the nose digger) said "sorry you already paid". So I watched as health codes were violated & the nose digger completed my order. When my order was called, rather than just leaving I decided to call out the issue. I looked the nose digger in the eye & told him "dude when you're preparing food, and have to do something like blow your nose, you need to change your gloves after." Not sure if this guy is delusionally unaware that the kitchen FACES the restaurant & people can actually SEE EVERYTHING he does, but this guy decided to straight gaslight me & tell me he changed his gloves. He did this with a real F U smirk on his face. I told him I literally saw everything he did to which he just laughed. I mean If this is going on in plain sight, what kind of gross health codes violations are going on in the back?? Can you imagine? That guy should absolutely not be handling food for a living. Pissed that the guy wouldn't even own up to his grossness I left my order on the counter, told the dude he was gross & walked out. I'd rather be out the cash than get sick. DISGUSTING. Pretty decent but the burgers could be way better with a few tweaks. They obviously use high quality ingredients so I think most of the issue is with cooking. First, they let you order either medium or well done. I ordered medium but got a patty well past WD. No juice left in that bad boy. The brioche buns are toasted, but barely. So still too squishy. Their menu says that the bacon is cooked to order but they just have a small pile sitting on one side of the griddle. So it ends up hard without being crunchy. I really like what LBB is going for, and one high point is the truffle fries. Amazingly crispy. A few little tweaks and they'd be delicious. read more

I like Little Big Burgers food, but I take issue with paying for food that I didn't order or getting charged for items that I didn't receive. The first time I ordered, I ordered two cheeseburgers and an order of truffle fries. My food was delivered cold and no fries. The second time that I ordered for delivery, I ordered and paid for two cheeseburgers and an order of fries. I received 1 cheeseburger and 1 order of fries. I called the number on the website and spoke with a woman who apologized and said that she would refund my account. I checked online and never received a refund. Today, I was the only person in the store. I used their in-store kiosk. I ordered two cheeseburgers. One well-done, with Swiss, no onion and mustard. The other was supposed to be medium with cheddar, extra pickles and an order of fries. I live about 10 minutes away. I opened the bag to find that what I received was again NOT what I ordered. I received a chicken sandwich with onions, and a well-done burger with chevre, and BBQ sauce and fries. With the cost of $7.75 a burger, I think that I can probably find a better burger place that can provide me with all the food I ordered, as I ordered it. This is NOT rocket science! I keep trying this place and I don't know why I bother. It was good at one point. I guess that's my only justification. Today was ridiculous. They have a register and a person at the register who was just on their phone not really glancing at any of the people in line, they have a menu sign as always, but in typical Portland fashion several people (including myself) cued up 0-passively behind the person at the register waiting to order. For 5, 10, then 15 minutes. Finally someone just said "so, um, how do we order food?" at which point the kid at the register points at the little brown cardboard sign that's folded around waist high saying to order at the digital pad. Cool. So, like 8 people are just standing in line without an employee even bothering to acknowledge anyone for around 15 minutes. Awesome start. Once you get to the pad, you realize they are out of several options. Ok cool. Not sure why they are on the menu, but cool. Order food. Wait, get food. No lie, they have good fries and their ketchup is weirdly good and I don't even love ketchup. The burgers were just sad. They used to have flavor, now it's mostly a dry flavorless patty and a soggy bun. It's even more odd in contrast to the fries, like the two items came from totally different places. I have very definitely had a better burger in a cafeteria, hell, I'd take a quarter pounder over these things. So... I guess, go for the fries. Or just get fries and toss them in truffle oil on your own. Either way, the service was so obnoxious I won't be back. May 28th Approx 8:05PM. I walked into the SE Division location. Stood at the register for too long without a greeting, or even a nod. I virtually was ignored. i then spoke up, and said "could I order please? The staff all just looked at me and then each other. I had to say again, I would like to order. The young man who helped me was rude and said "I'll be right with you", with a snotty look. He came over with no eye contact, took my order, no thank you! Wow! I have been in many times and have never experienced this. All that is needed is recognition and an "I'll be right with you". This would have changed everything. This staff needs some reminders in customer service! There is no excuse for not greeting a customer with eye contact. I hope this helps to improve the experience. read more

Little big; stupid smart; pretty ugly Are these oxymorons? I don't know, but this food spot is definitely a 3.5 that is rounded down. Solid burgers, but definitely an above average fries. Love the truffle style fries. They give you extra in the bag so that it feels and is more quantity of fries. The price tag of the burgers are on the pricey side especially for the quantity you get. I've had this spot multiple times, but I enjoy the chicken sandwich. Great mix of ingredients with a yummy sauce. I'd say that it's a great spot to check out if you are in the mood for some burger and fries. read more

I LOVE LITTLE BIG BURGER! The burgers are small which is the perfect size for me. I love the fancy burger. It is so falverful and delicous. They use great ingredients! Once in a while they get a little wild with the condiments and put too much on. Some people may need to order a double burger if they are looking for a bigger burger. The burgers are little and the taste is big. I always order a chicken burger and I love it because it's moist and juicy. Other places that offer a chicken burger make a super dry piece of chicken, but not LBB! Also the burgers are like 2/3 of a "typical" burger size, which is great. And when I have done something especially athletic that day, I just order 2 and it's great. They also always get my add-ons and substitutions right, so whatever kind of system they have going on in the kitchen is working. Keep it up, LBB! Delicious, consistent, doesn't break the bank. Get the truffle fries, you will not regret it. I ordered a cheeseburger with pepper jack cheese and bacon. For a "fast food" burger, it was pretty good but it wasn't anything to write home over. The truffle fries were really the star of the show and I could not stop eating them. The menu is limited, but this will make deciding much easier (especially since all you need is the fries, everything else is just extra). Tables have fry sauce (which I'm pretty sure is just Thousand Island and ranch) and ketchup, but the fries are good without them too. read more

So when we came today we had to stop here for lunch. I got the cheese burger with chèvre and fries. The burgers are made to order and seasoned perfectly on the flat top. The fries are hot and crispy and tossed in truffle oil. They are an awesome compliment to the burger. Everything is so fresh and hot it's really hard to beat. They have a super simple menu, burgers, chicken burger and impossible burger and fries. There is a reason they are always crowded the food is just good. Simple and done right. Downhill. I used to love little big burger. I don't live in Portland anymore but when I come visit, it's always on my list of places I want to go to if I have time. This last time I went, I was just disappointed and my hole impression of little big burger has been ruined forever. This was the driest burger on ear. No juice whatsoever. It honestly just felt sad.
