Walking in the door we were met with some teenagers running out. Not the restaurants fault but kinda set the tone for the experience. This was our first experience at this location. The tables looked like the lunch rush had just came through and were not wiped all the way clean. Now one thing I never seen anywhere else was they had cleaner/sterilizer at every table with a roll of paper towels. Maybe they assumed each customer would clean the tables themselves or it was to make it easy for whoever was cleaning the tables. They have a normal amount of options for a burrito shop. What they don't have is salsa with the chips. I know places like Chipotle and Moes (Chain places) have the salsa bar. Most other burrito places I have been that are not chains will give you a small container of salsa or queso being an additional charge. We both got steak burrito's and I should have tried something else so we could review two options. The burritos are bigger than what the chain places offer. Flavor a little different. My wife said something was off with the steak I just thought it was over salted. It was very soft and was in an almost gravy looking juice. I have been to some places that ask every option and places that stand there and wait for you to tell them. This was a little of both. Not as many options as a chain restaurant. The staff seemed pretty friendly and we didn't have any issues with anyone. The food was at best ok. Great for the area it is in. All in all an ok experience. Great place for lots of food! I got the chicken burrito bowl and my friend tried their brisket both were great! Very generous with the toppings and especially the guac and very tasty. They had a homemade pineapple salsa that was very yummy too. Free chips if you eat there and fountain drinks. Food was delicious. Margaritas were horrible unfortunately. None of us were able to drink them. Pretty sure it was the excessive amount of sour mix and it was so so sweet that it was unpalatable. I came on a Thursday night around 6 PM. There was no customers in the restaurant so I was taken care of right away. All of the workers at the front were very friendly. They ask what you want then bring you down the bar and have you chose everything you want. I got a bowl with steak and lots of veggies and toppings. The employee that was assisting me was super generous with the portions he gave me. The food itself was good. The steak was a little dry and not very well flavored. I have a hard time leaving bad reviews but we were on a road trip home and wanted to stop for something quick but not totally fast food so we stopped at little boomers the town is cute that it is in, and maybe we just got their on their off day but it ws packed so we had hope. I got their chicken quesadilla, my dad and step mom got a brisket burrito. my quesadilla came a lot later than theirs and the cheese had a weird texture not your normal melted cheese, it was full of grease and just didn't taste right, i had 4 bites before calling it quits on it. i didn't even touch the chips, im sure they were fine but my appetite was gone. the burritos seemed fine, they are huge so definitely worth the price but so big that it was hard to eat and just fell out so quickly. There was a lot of fat left on the meat as well so once they saw that it kinda ruined it for them too. Its definitely a college town so i guess when i was in college i liked that kind of food too. Was craving Mexico lunch on our way through town. Found this burrito bar and loved it. I'm from California, and it's rare to find a good authentic Mexican taqueria type place that is not a chain that is also good. Super friendly staff. Choose from burritos, to bowls etc. and build what you want. Fresh and tasty. Exactly what we were looking for so well worth the short drive off the Interstate. Plus the super cool Main Street of Corning is fantastic. Lots of fun places. No salsa bar here, but maybe that is result of lingering COVID fears? And chips are way salty. I had the pulled pork burrito with just about everything you can imagine on it that they had to offer. The hottest hot sauce was delicious! My burrito was stuffed and I couldn't even finish it. I wasn't a huge fan of the corn salsa because it wasn't what I was expecting. The person I was with had the ground beef quesadilla and I tried it and it was phenomenal. The woman working was the mother of the owners and she was super friendly and helpful. She suggested the beef to my friend and it was a great suggestion. I'm not sure that the guacamole is fresh-made, but rather the packaged version. Just not that great or worth the extra $1.99. The chicken was good. The rice was a little bland. They have Chalula's, which I used to give it a little extra kick! Get the chips and dip them in your mixed up rice bowl - it's like a 7-layer dip. Staff was awesome and welcoming! I hate to be that person that says it's just not Chipotle, but it's just not Chipotle. A solid alternative when you need to grab Mexican on the go, you're in a small town, and have some folks with dietary issues dining with you (GF options). I have been here a few times and I am a fan. As said before its very much like Moe's or Chipotle. It is located right in the middle of Market St which is nice. It the only place in the area similar unless you drive all the way to Ithaca. The place It is very similar as I said before to Chipotle. It is very clean and kept up well I would say it might seat 30 people roughly. The food I had a burrito bowl with chicken, cilantro lime brown rice, pico De galo, corn salsa, sour cream, lettuce and guacamole.The bowl was good, I think the chicken was cooked perfectly, tender juicy and well seasoned. The pico De galo, lettuce and corn salsa were fresh. I think the guac could use a little more seasoning but wasn't bad. I rate the food a 3 to 3.5 there is a few things I havent tried yet. They offer chicken, steak, ground beef, pork and a vegetarian option... The staff They are great they are always friendly and helpful. Cant say enough how well Andy runs this place. The verdict The only reason I give this place 4 stars instead of 3 is price. It is abit expensive compared to similar places. Little Boomers served up a tasty chicken burrito bowl and side of chips this evening. This place opened just under a week ago and seems to be the new jewel of market street. Its been packed at lunchtime all week so I headed in for dinner tonight. I ordered; - burrito bowl with chicken, cilantro lime brown rice, pico De galo, corn salsa, sour cream, lettuce and guacamole. The bowl was good, I think the chicken was cooked perfectly, tender juicy and well seasoned. The pico De galo, lettuce and corn salsa were fresh. I think the guac could use a little more seasoning ( garlic, lime or salt) but had a great consistency and color. The rice was a little cool but it was cooked well, not to firm and not mushy. I rate the food a 4, but look forward to hopefully enhancing that as the business grows, I try more and the recipes become fully established. There is still a lot for me to try, these guys offer chicken, steak, ground beef, pork and a vegetarian option... Overall I think this place is doing a lot of things right. After touring the Corning Museum of Glass, which we highly recommend, we decided to go downtown for a late lunch. Chose this because of the outdoor seating. (Covid times) You can choose a burrito, taco, bowl, salad or quesadilla then add any ingredients you want. I had the bowl with chicken and my boyfriend had the burrito. Both were plentiful and very tasty. The ingredients were fresh and seasoned well. We would definitely recommend this place. read more

We go frequently at lunchtime - I'm crazy for the taco salad, but there are many other menu options to choose from including burritos, rice bowls, and nachos. I love all the variety of toppings you can get: 2 kinds of beans, chicken, steak, pork, ground beef, peppers/ onions, pick, salsas, cheese, sour cream, guacamole...etc. I personally love how I can pick and choose what I want and tailor it to my mood of the day! My boyfriend and I only came by because we were absolutely starving however every ingredient in our burrito was literally gross and mushy. This place doesn't look appetizing and their food isn't either. Gave them more than enough time, but they didn't start the order until I walked in and said I was here. 2 people after me got their food first, 1 was a mobile order 1 was a walk-in. It wasn't a large order, certainly less than the woman before me, but you'd think that after an hour's wait they would at least try to get your order done as quickly as possible. Too bad I already paid the tip. Hopefully the food is less disappointing than the experience. Edit: the sprite was essentially soda water, the chips were stale, and there was a pool of water at the bottom of the burrito bowl. There was hardly any flavor and none of it was worth the price.
