Let me preface this review that it was not my choice to go here. My son wanted wings and asked if…read morewe can try Buffalo Wild Wings...so we did. Food was not bad. In fact we enjoyed the different wings that we ordered. Were they the best wings....no....were they the worst...no. We tried traditional curry wings, mango and then a very spicy wing dish. Good, good and HOT! Fun trying these. Service was mediocre. She was there, now she is not. Would I run back here...not in a rush to do that. If you want great wings I will say that the following places are those that I would go to for great wings. - Rock and Brews (probably the only worthwhile item on the menu) - Jinja (Dragon's Breath Wings) - Outback I am sure I am missing a few places for the list.....

Food was quoted to be ready at 6:15 but we didn't leave with the to go bag closer to 7pm. Front of house staff has no idea what they're doing and we had to remind multiple people that we were there to grab our food order. You can even hear other serving staff arguing about their sections. We ended up sitting down at the bar while we waited for the food and just ordered one round and had to flag down a manager to pay our tab because the bartender was completely overran. Of course they screwed up the food order as well. Big disappointment from beginning to end. Should've known better.

Rowley is on my very short list of "destination breweries." Whenever I'm traveling anywhere near…read moreSanta Fe (from Tucson) I make it a point to stop at RFA. Lovers of farmhouse, saison, wild, mixed-culture, sour and innovative brewing in general, need to put this on their bucket list. The food isn't your basic brew-pub fare either. The kitchen puts as much craft and innovation as do the brewers. It's a working brewery, though, so don't expect anything more than friendly, relaxed atmosphere. There's more outdoor-ish seating than inside. I've experienced slight waits on busy nights, but it's always worth it. I'm not a resident, but I am a regular, and the friendly crew often recognizes me from my love of their beer and my enthusiasm for their commitment to the craft.

Most of their seating was outside enclosed with a rooftop with an open and comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. Service was very friendly and always available. The food was ok; we were glad to be in a brewery that served food. There were many beer choices. We ordered a flight of beers to try. We enjoy IPAs but unfortunately couldn't find one that we really liked. There was not much noise level which made it perfect for conversations. There was plenty of parking and it was easy to park. I would recommend this brewery.

Another great meal at Boxcar, again with the Santa Fe Foodies. All nine of us enjoyed the meals. We…read morewent for Taco Tuesday; you can get $2 beef tacos, which many members did and said were very good. However, I decided to go with an appetizer I've never tried, the Bang Bang Shrimp, which was dynamite! You get four very large, crispy shrimp in a sweet-and-spicy sauce, though I didn't find it spicy, if that's a concern for some. The sauce was very tasty; the shrimp had great flavor, were plump and tender, and they were indeed crispy. This went very well with the arugula under the shrimp. I'd order this again in a second. I then had two tacos à la carte: Baja Fish beer-battered cod and Carnitas. Both were very large and excellent. The pork on the Carnitas was indeed crispy as it should be, and the cod was perfectly fried and delicious. My wife had the Asian Tuna Noodle Crunch Bowl: seared tuna, lo mein noodles. The dressing was superb; the Tuna was perfectly seared raw, and all the items that came with the salad (mango, red cabbage, daikon radish sprouts, kale crunch, edamame, cilantro, peanuts, toasted sesame) made for a lovely and delicious meal. Our server, Tony, did a fantastic job of keeping us all happy. My only 'complaint' was that Boxcar doesn't serve their amazing Brussels sprouts, or at least not all the time. Not on the menu. I told Tony and the manager how much I love them and was told it may come back as a special from time to time. Man, the Boxcar Brussels sprouts are amazing! Boxcar has very, very good food, and I would usually avoid what appears to be a 'sports bar,' but James Beard Foundation-recognized Chef Eric Stumpf will please the foodies every time. What is nice is that Boxcar has several seating areas, so if you're into food and not the 'bar scene,' they can seat you in an area that is quiet.

Also the bacon was sticking out. Have to pay for ranch dressing, was told after the food was served. Waited for the dressing to come and the Orion rings got cold. Wasn't that busy but still took a while for the food to arrive. Out of tacos for Taco Tuesday by 10 pm, but they still offer the tacos at the regular price. After I asked for the check, the waiter offered drinks from the happy hour menu, dessert and asked me if I wanted to place an order of vegetable "something healthy" for the next day? First time that I been offer that. Would not go back again.
