    Beautiful mountain view.

Me and my sister went here for dinner last year in October. We ordered the Supreme pizza which was incredible! The dough was cooked to perfection not over cooked or too doughy. The sauce has a sweet flavor and the toppings were fresh and delicious. We also had a slide salad which was fresh and the dressing was good. They have a great menu of craft beers to choose from. The service was great! Very friendly and attentive. We sat in the patio which has amazing views of the mountains. The ambience is quant and casual, what you would expect from a pizza place. My next visit to Taos will definitely include Pizanos.

For a gluten free crust this pizza is delicious, the crust is perfectly crisp and the vegan cheese with the green chile combo AND pineapple soooo bomb. If you're looking for good zaa this is it for Taos! Also try the watermelon cider, it's giving jolly rancher vibes.

Showed up an hour before close and they turned us away even though the restaurant was full of people. Won't be back.

According to the man upfront who kindly…read moregave me a little taste of all the reds displayed at the bar, the shop opened about 3-4 years ago. Despite its cuteness however, it doesn't look like it's been visited by many based on the number of photos uploaded as of April 18, 2026. It might be its location as it's tucked in a quieter area from the center of Taos (it's still very much walkable from it though.) Well, I shall (thus) contribute to it. Great selection of whites and reds. Unfortunately however, none of the reds I got to sample didn't strikingly impress me and yet the Rioja was the best one out of the 7 displayed upfront. I hence went with a glass of it. Despite the beautiful weather on a Saturday at around 5:25pm, nobody was there. The live band for the night had just gotten to it where they were doing a little rehearsal. There was a good hour to the start of the show. The food menu also had a good selection of small bites from charcuterie board to hummus plate to meatballs to dumplings to flatbread etc. And the prices of them were mostly $10 to $15 (except the boards.) I had stopped at a different wine bar earlier where I had gotten me a few food for me to eat at the hotel so I didn't get anything at this place. Maybe next time. It's a great place for girls' night out, a date night or a solo dining as well. As I have mentioned already, live music every night. You can sit close to the band or a bit away from it near the entrance. Wherever you sit you'll be surrounded by the great ambiance. I enjoyed it tremendously.

I pondered if a 2-star rating would be appropriate but he was a lot nicer when I was leaving (he said a firm thanks) and extra stat was added to the whole rating. During my visit in Taos, I had a chance to go to a few different wine places and none of them did "flights". Whereas the other place was generous enough to let me taste more than a handful of their reds this place only gave me one of them (which I didn't care for.) I didn't want to be an entitled customer so I (out of politeness) refrained from asking me for a few more samples. I hence opted out on ordering a full glass for something I might not enjoy as all I could get were the descriptions of several other reds he said. I sure was hungry though so I ordered the mixed green salad and the rotating dessert (some sponge spice cake with date in it.) Both of them (when I ate them later in my hotel room) were okay to decent but I wasn't nowhere near "impressed". Will I go back here when I am in town again? Maybe but I can simply go to the other one I liked more or some vineyards that are 20-30 minutes from the center of Taos. It appears that some other people experienced the same questionable customer service experience (based on their reviews) when I felt "unwelcome" or even "being dismissed" I know that it wasn't personal. Yup, 3-star is good enough for this place for now.

Started with Wagyu/Angus burnt ends and savory red chile sauce. Tender and delicious. We then moved to the almost crusted Chilean Sea Bass with cilantro basmati rice and locally sourced microgreens and asparagus. Blew me away. The best course, IMO, was the duck confit with corn and hatch chile bread pudding. Accompanied by macerated blueberries and delicious red amaranth micro greens. Chef's kiss. The bouillabaisse was multilayered and seafood was perfectly prepared. To round out our evening, we indulged in a key lime pie that was refreshing and the perfect close to a wonderful meal. The chef and staff are so wonderful. They take care of you and can relate without any kind of pretension. Highly recommend

BFF and I were visiting the plaza and I wanted to eat linner somewhere different. As I researched restaurants prior to our trip, I found this gem and they have happy hour 7 days a week! After reading the many great reviews, we arrived approximately 15 min early prior to them opening as we were not sure how busy it would be on a Sunday afternoon. We arrived prior to the bartender but she showed up shortly after we did and took a seat at the bar!. Now, I genuinely do not like bar seating as I prefer a table, and they have one that sits 10 people but since there was two of us we did not want to hog up that much space. Our server was great and we started off with the brussel sprouts and elote corn ribs with red chile butter. Both were delicious and off the charts! I opted for the chicken sando and BFF ordered the steak frites. Both were delish and full of flavor! We also had a really good pinot cab. Our bill was a bit pricey for their HH menu (116.00 incl 5 glasses of cab total) but worth every penny! Ambience is totally cool, laid back, classy (but not pretentious) with a modern rustic flair on the inside. Will definitely be back if I am in Taos again!

They did. The steak was more like a chewy gyro meat (but I like gyro meat. this was disgusting). The salad was underdressed (yes, I could have asked for more ranch) and the bacon was not edible... and I had to put force into every bite because it was also so chewy. It was so strange! The tomatoes were good. My huband got the filet .. he said it as cooked well. but the compliments ended there. My girls both got chicken fingers. Disgusting. Even the fries were gross. This was our first night in TVS. I was scared out of my mind this was how the food was everywhere. Nope. Just The Blake. And it's the talk of the town. Stay away until they figure it out. While I can appreciate the craft that went into the cook, I was a bit disappointed in the execution. What we ordered: Eggs Benedict: it was absolutely beautiful when it came out, but upon breaking open the poached egg, it was about 10-15 seconds under done. I had runny whites, which shouldn't happen. Also, the hollandaise sauce did not have that lemon flavor (you need a bit more punch). Finally, the sauce to me was broken as I could see and taste the eggs curdled. While I loved the fresh spinach and tomatoes as it gave it a good acidic taste, I was just a bit disappointed in the execution. The potatoes were good. They were fried to perfection but it needed a bit more zest or seasoning. Breakfast Buffet: typical buffet of sausage, eggs, bacon, pastries etc. nothing exciting or anything to be negative about. The one good thing to note is that there was a pastry that had some sort of apricot or peach jam in the middle which was lovely! Out of the places we ate in the Ski Valley, I would come back here to eat lunch or dinner.

As we walked up to the door, there was a sign posted about them being short staffed and possibly not able to serve everyone without a reservation, but we decided to ask. I'm glad we did. They lit the old school candle on the table, played old time mix of music, had table cloths on each table. It was very sweet and lovely. We had an official server come to our table right away and drop off menus. Then we had (I think), the owner of the restaurant stop by to talk to us for a little bit. Later I believe we had Stella herself deliver food and talk to us. We ordered light meals because we had a late lunch. I ordered a salad with chicken on it and it was delicious. They tried to present it well and succeeded. It was fresh and tasty, too. Hubs ordered lasagna, which came with a side of garlic bread. Although he thought his lasagna was a little thin in layers, the taste of the sauce was very, very good. We did not order dessert, but we thought all of them looked really delicious.
