A Hawaiian pizza with a small handful of toppings in the middle. Over cooked dry and tough to bite.

I would give it less than one star but it wasn't an option. maybe spread out the little bit of toppings next time......

    Hot and Ready?

I go into Little Cesars at 7:26pm I ask what is ready. Cheese I take the cheese Lady comes in behind me and says to her little one, see they do have the phones off the hook. The lady tells the employee that their phones are off the hook "Yeah, I know. We were too busy" So I am currently ordering a pizza to be delivered, that I can actually eat

I ordered for a 3:30 pick up. The pizza was ready early and hot, common LC pizza. The review is primarily for misinformation. I have gotten take out a few times and was impressed with their mask requirements. Signage is posted outside and in. Their employees have always been masked properly before today. I asked for the person at the register to please put hers on, I am immunocompromised. She did- only to remove it once I walked away. The people constructing the pizzas and boxing them had masks around their chin. An unpleasant experience this time around and unfortunately I will have to miss out on my crazy bread. Vaccinated I may be, but Covid isn't picky. I don't need a side of it along with my crazy sauce.

Green Valley doesn't have many quality restaurants, and I refuse to patronize crappy restaurants in the light of rampant high prices, bad service, inflated tipping expectations and, of course, the obligatory sales tax. Of the existing ones, many are chains, such as Denny's, KFC and McDonald's. The remaining non-chain venues are frequently purveyors of mediocre food and horrible service. Here's my basis for the good review: 1) Excellent and prompt customer service; 2) The place is immaculately clean; 3) The food is delicious and features generous portions; 4) There are TWO gluten-free pizza crust options; 5) Parking is ample; 6) The prices are reasonable; 7) Convenient to other shopping opportunities; 8) Genuine smiles from the owners and staff are standard operating procedure. At the rate that M. M.'s is building it's customer clientele, they'll have to move into a larger space, or even expand weekend evening hours while the snowbirds are in town.

Honestly the crust and sauce are what matters most to us. The toppings were okay, nothing stood out look or flavor wise. Our next try a couple weeks later was not as expected. We ordered another large again actually just like the first but received a small. Green Valley is not known for decent pizza parlors so most likely we will give Mario's another try.

(I will share some of the completely pretentious, but true comments circulating at our table.) "I haven't had eggplant this good since Santorini." And the mushrooms. "Diners in Istanbul would be jealous of this dish. I had amazing mushrooms at that fab little place near the Blue Mosque, but these are now my fave stuffed mushrooms in the world." Yeah , Snowbirds, the chicken kebab is healthy and flavorful, but, "The lamb will transport your taste buds." Our desert was a Dubai delight. "The only thing that would make this dish more delightful and decadent would be to dust it with flakes of 24 carat gold." Oh, and the staff is AMAZING We discussed climbing over the fence and pitching a tent in their garden on the way home. Fellow Foodies, Brindi's puts Green Valley on the current gastronomical map of Southern AZ. P.S. Dear Brindi's, have you thought about adding a few weekend brunch items?

We were warmly greeted and shown to our table immediately at our reservation time. Party of 4. The restaurant is in a strip mall. They've done a nice job inside dressing it up but it could probably use an update again. Water and bread arrived almost before we were seated. There was garlic bread and a focaccia. Oil oil and balsamic are provided at the table. The bread is good but nothing memorable. Drink orders were taken and delivered fast. My $13 glass of Montepulciano d'Abruzzo was good. All the entrees come with soup or salad. Three of us had Minestrone and one tomato basil. All were tasty and fresh Parmesan was shaved on top table side. The soups could have been a little hotter IMO. We ordered two chicken dishes, an Eggplant lasagna, which is no longer listed on the menu, but they'll make it for you, and Cioppino. Everyone enjoyed their dinners. I had the Cioppino and thought the scallops, shrimp and mussels could have been cooked for 60-90 seconds less. They weren't chewy but not buttery soft either. The sauce was very good. Considering the restaurant is owned by a Mexican family and there likely isn't an Italian chef anywhere near this area, I'd give it a solid 4. They wouldn't survive in NYC or the surrounding area, but if I lived here, and the service and food were the quality we experienced tonight, I'd be a regular.

Thankfully, we found Ragazzi! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcome. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and struck that perfect balance of checking on us without making us feel like we were being supervised. My wife ordered the chicken parmigiana with Alfredo sauce, and I went with the lobster ravioli. We paired them with a glass of Malbec for her and a Merlot for me. Everything was delicious, but I have to give a special shout-out to the warm bread. Let's just say it took some serious self-control to save room for our entrées. Then came the grand finale: the tiramisu. It was absolutely divine and easily big enough for two people to share... assuming one of them is willing to share. Fortunately, we've had 29 years to practice. We left full, happy, and wondering how we hadn't discovered Ragazzi sooner. It's always exciting to find a fantastic local restaurant, especially one so close to home. We'll definitely be back--and probably sooner than our next anniversary!

During that time, other guests who arrived after us appeared to receive service before we did. I ordered the steak and cheese sandwich, and my wife ordered the chipotle chicken Alfredo. The food arrived about 15 minutes after we ordered. My sandwich was acceptable, but the chipotle chicken Alfredo was not prepared well. The chicken was overcooked, and the sauce had thickened to the point that it affected the texture of the dish. My wife was unable to finish it. We were also there during happy hour, which was supposed to include $2 off all drinks. After reviewing the bill, the drink discount did not appear to be applied. Because of the amount of time we had already spent waiting, we chose not to raise the issue at the restaurant. After asking for the bill, we waited about 10 minutes and had to call the waitress over again to request it. Based on this visit, we do not plan to return to Pub 22. We try to support local businesses, especially since there are limited dining options nearby, but the service, food quality, and billing accuracy during this visit did not meet expectations.
