An employee with blonde curly hair was quite rude yesterday. I've been coming to MOD for years and will just avoid this location because of him. We ordered our pizzas extra crispy. The worker who prepared our pizzas wrote EC for that on the tag. The blonde employee who was working the oven did not read the EC on the tag or did not know what it meant so when we were called to get our pizzas we asked for it extra crispy again (because it appeared barely cooked) and he was just pissed. He said nothing to us and just appeared angry. Like it was our fault he had to put the pizzas back in the oven because he didn't read the tag. The major issue though was that when he originally took our pizzas out of the oven they were still raw.... My husband's ricotta cheese was still ice cold. There was no common sense here but extremely poor customer service. I hope this changes for the future because kindness goes a long way. My husband and I were very nice the entire time and felt uncomfortable. It really just ruined our time and we wish we didn't come to this location. read more

First time and was immediately impressed with the sincere customer service and friendliness that emulated from the two young ladies that worked with us as we built our individual pizzas. They were patient with me, my wife and mother-in-law (English is her 2nd language) as we decided how we were going to build our masterpiece. Love the set-up, you pick your crust (they have califlower) , sauce and then any topping you want - then it is baked in the oven and bam your own pizza. The food is consistently good at every MOD Pizza, and our latest experience was no exception. We did feel that the toppings were not as generous as usual, in spite of the "add all you want" policy. We could've requested more of every topping, but we usually don't have to. The most upsetting thing about our experience was that the place was filthy. Crumbs, toppings, and used plastic gloves were scattered all over the floor in the work area behind the food counters. We took our food outside to the picnic tables, and 3 out of the 4 tables were too dirty to sit at. None actually appeared to have been wiped off for awhile. We will most likely return to this location, since it is close to our home, but I hope it is a better experience the next time. read more

I waited 40 minutes to get an order that I placed on the mobile app. It was supposed to ready by 5:20pm. I went to pick it up and they said it would be a few minutes. I waited 15 minutes and watched other people in line get their orders and other mobile customers getting their orders. I asked how much longer and they said it was going to be dropped next. After another 15 minutes and people getting their orders I went back to the counter and asked again. They said it was just dropped and they were busy. I told them I had been there for 30 minutes and they didn't respond. Finally 10 minutes they had it done and didn't apologize for the wait. The options available are nice and they have a nice variety of toppings. For my pizza I got the traditional red sauce - which is a standard sauce. The flavor of it did not blow me away, but considering the set up of the restaurant, makes sense. They cook the pizza in a wood-fire oven which gives the bottom a nice crust. Area inside is generally clean but this specific location sometimes gets packed during lunch hours and you guessed it right, service is still slow.$7.67 for an 11" made anyway you want it babe, with as many toppings as your little heart desires. Fountain drinks & craft beer, yet at this location they don't mention what local beer they have on tap like their in town locations. Overall this is an ok MOD to visit if you have an extra few minutes but if not I would head to the Oracle location where they have the process down. read more

Just had a pizza there. Place was extremely dirty. The manager didn't let me get some water after ordering 2 pizzas and 2 salads. I sat outside finished my pizza and went back in to get some water to finish my meal and go back home. The manager stopped me and told me I wasn't allowed to get water. She was extremely rude. Excited for the new MOD Pizza location I walked in and ordered right away, no line. The young lady was very helpful and knew her ingredients. When we look where to sit inside, everywhere seemed uncomfortable. Who wants to sit with used napkins on the counter? We finally found a table and enjoyed our meal. I absolutely love this MOD here in Tucson. In my opinion it's one of the best in town because despite being in a busy area they are always fast and never had any issues with my complex orders. It's worth sharing how friendly the staff is here and very informative in terms of what they offer and recommendations even as a returning customer. There's one guy with glasses who's always there during the late shifts and he's funny and always extremely helpful. If you find yourself wanting that casual fast food vibe, great staff, great food for the right price highly recommend to visit this location. It's without a doubt worth it. I'll say the food is very good and fresh. Unfortunately the workers can't keep up with cleaning the tables inside the restaurant or outside. I realize with our waitstaff it is hard to keep up with dirty tables but the outside tables were really bad with baked on sauce that would need a scraper to clean.
