Good food and good vibes. Food was quick and hot. Our waitress Brianna was very nice and attentive.

Baby idk what the hell was going on with my visit here. The waitress was cool, very nice but she was trying to do superstar waitress activity and she hasn't gotten there yet. Messing up my order left and right and coming back to clarify or cause she forgot what I said! sis...write it down, I promise you it's OK to use a pad! I ordered the toasted yolk coffee, no ma'am, I even sweetened it, no help. I regularly drink this mixup so idk why this wasn't jiving. They took it off and I ordered something cold (maybe the cold brew) and it was better but still not recommendable. My companion loved her Bloody Mary lol so if you like that drink, try it. I can't do it Food - I ordered basic meal, eggs, bacon, pancakes, hash brown casserole and biscuit. Came out with sausage which was ok but not what I ordered. The bacon when it came was good. The restaurant was cool; I'm sure they had no idea it was a group of 5/6 girls in the small ass bathroom doing TikToks smh this generation...but just know you might encounter that crowd, they were respectful though.

Went on a Sunday morning with some friends and was a bit overwhelmed by the menu. It's HUGE which can be intimidating, but also means that the is something for everyone. I got the west coast arnold with a side of hashbrowns. I also go to try some of my friend's french toast, fried banana peppers, and seasonal pancakes. The west coast arnold was exactly what I wanted in terms of a savory breakfast. I loved the cajun turkey and crispy bacon with the creamy avocado and cholula ranch. I was a bit disappointed that the poached eggs were over cooked and essentially boiled, so I did not get the runy/jammy yolk I was looking forward too. (6/10) The hashbrowns were mushy and had a bit too much cheese in them for my liking. I typically like my hash browns crispy so this also missed the mark for me. (4/10) The french toast was just bread with a heap of butter. No cinnamon flavor or the hint of sweetness you'd typically expect. (3/10) The fried banana peppers were exactly what you'd expect. They had a good batter on them that reminded me of calamari rings, but they just had the sourness/ acidity of banana pepper. Did not love them but did not hate them either. (5/10) The seasonal pancakes had two huge pancakes with mascarpone in between and a berry compote on top. The mascarpone was bland and did not add anything to the dish and I did not like how the berry compote was warmer than the pancakes themselves. I will say that this was the best dish in terms of value as the portion they give is much more generous. (4/10) Overall, the ambiance was casual and diner-like and the service was standard. Sadly the food was just not my favorite.

Summary - food is good (but basic) but dislike this chain location bc of how I don't like the decor at all. Food/menu - good but nothing amazing tbh. Tasted like regular brunch food that you can get anywhere else. The only thing that made it stand out was how their hash browns are like cheese potato casseroles. They were good but if you want regular hash browns, be warned. Service - our server Brianna (?) was very nice and patient with us. Gave us ample time to decide n look over the menu and checked in appropriately. Ambience - the location n interior felt like they recently renovated to make 2 buildings become one and bc of that, the atmosphere and decor just felt off. Exposed beams that gave it industrial vibes while the decor was rural western in one area while modern bougie in another. So honestly, the ambience was so off that the whole brunch vibe was not there lol.

Came here on a Sunday after church with a group of six. They accommodated us quickly and our server was awesome! The food was pretty good, but it could've been seasoned more. It lacked general flavor, but the presentation was great, the restaurant was clean, and overall they accommodated our big group well.

I had never been here before and with only two cars in the parking lot I wasn't even sure they were open. However, on a Tuesday morning in a strip center off the highway it made sense. I was greeted nicely by workers as I walked in and was quickly taken to my table. Just as I was seated the server brought menus and took my coffee order. I ordered the veggie scramble and a side biscuit with the hash brown casserole. First off, WOW! The hash brown casserole was amazing. The scramble was one of the best I've ever had! The biscuit was nice size and a "real" biscuit - not the multi layer kind or the weird kind you get at some fast food chains. I don't know what coffee they serve but it was smooth and dark. I had 2 big mugs! The server was attentive but not overbearing. And other than being chilly inside, the place itself was nice. I'd come here again even if it's not at all near me. I just happened to be driving up the highway and decided to stop. I hope if you decide to stop you have as an amazing experience as I had today. It's definitely been added to one of my go to breakfast places going forward.. even though I will have to make a drive to get here!

we entered the crowded waiting area of the Toasted Yolk on 1488 in Conroe at around 11am on Sunday. while an employee was standing there, no one greeted us and I had no idea what to do... apparently one has to self-sign in to a waiting list... another guest seeing me look lost clued me in to this. We did this and waited at the bar with a coffee til we received the text about out table. the wait wasn't long and we were sat near the swinging door of the kitchen. when the food came out it looked like a heap of slop. My first bite was of the hash brown casserole... barely warm and surprisingmy sweet. Maybe it has a lot of cooked sweet onions in it, I couldn't tell. my second bite was of sausage... not hot, again, and I got a huge piece of gristle that put me off my whole meal.

I was pleasantly surprised with his business. Besides the outside and inside decorations, being beautiful, the servers personalities matched as well! I enjoyed my toasted yolk and the rest of our party enjoyed their food as well. Although, the star of the show was definitely the toasted yelp. The sourdough bread was just excellent. Their card machine did have some issues, but the servers were very informative about the process, which is the only reason for the four star review. I'll definitely be back to enjoy another toasted yolk.

    Granola Apple French Toast

Server was very quick and nice during the whole experience. I've been to one other location and it was very good, this time just didn't hit the spot. We got the Granola Apple French Toast and the Cordon Blu Sandwich. The sandwich was decent but should just be called a Ham Breakfast Sandwich. Just because it has ham doesn't make it a Cordon Blu. The French Toast was average.

Very clean and well put together. We we were greeted promptly and told to choose our seat and that she would be right with us. Well.. that wasn't the case. The lady that greated us was the greeter the bartender the hostess and order taker and one young man as a server was all they had. Fast forward past the wait. Our food comes. Presentation was nice loved the wooden serving trays. Burgers were nice size as seen on social media. I had the Texan burger with chili and cheese and my wife had Kions classic with cheese. Burgers were great. Meat was grilled to perfection with the chard edges i like. But were a little salty as were the onion rings. It taste like the same seasoning is used for the burger fries and onion rings so it became a little overwhelming. Which was part of the reason fir the 3 star. The other reason was the wait (to order and check out) due to the lack of staff and the other is the price. $66 for 2 burgers, fries and onion rings which the portions aren't worth the $10 price. Will we return? Possibly but not any time soon. @Manager. First, condolences to you and your family . But I notice you are very defensive in your few responses to reviews. And im sure you're going to take offense to this comment also but it is not to offend you or your business but more-so to help. I noticed you haven't even taken the time to respond to those that have given you good to great reviews. Those people deserve your attention more. And even in the responses you have given, there are more professional ways of defending your establishment. Like thanking the person for patronizing your business whether they gave you a good or bad review (they spent their hard earned money). Then thanking them for taking the time to leave you a review (good or bad) and read reviews with the intent to understand not to respond. We don't know what's going on in your personal life when we enter your establishment just as you don't know what's going on in ours.. you expect us to repect your business upon entering as we expect a level of service and professionalism that makes us feel good about spending our money. If your loss was going to impact your service maybe inform people when they enter that service is going to be a little slow due to short staff. I see your favorite thing to say is "our prices are listed". Don't you think we know that? Don't you think we seen the price on the menu when we ordered? So obviously we're not complaining about the price but more so what we got for the price. Though we can see how much we're going to spend before ordering, we can not see what we're getting for what we're spending until it comes out. And that is what I was referring to.. price vs portion. And my review said some good things also and said we would possibly return.. but that now will not happen. Please just think before you respond to people and remember they have already given you their hard earned money before making reviews of your business good or bad.. so always lead with a "Thank You..."

It did take a while for anyone to attend us, I had to ask someone for menus and to take our drinks. My mom ordered the chicken fried steak and the waiter seemed a bit confused on what the menu said. My mom was confused too because on the menu it had two of the same name items with different prices. Anyway he took her order and he put in for the " country fried steak" as he called it and she also asked for the gravy on the side. My husband and I ordered waffles combo plates and my husband asked for a side of bacon. When the food arrived the gravy was on my mom's food when she asked for it on the side and she asked to get it replaced. She got it back and once she started cutting it it's was actually chicken fried chicken. She didn't want to ask to take it back so she just ate it. The good thing is she said her meal was delicious even though she didn't get exactly what she wanted. She also very much enjoyed the coffee. When it came to my mine and my husbands meal the sausage on his plate looked pale as if it was left on the grilled for one minute each side so we asked if it could be slightly more cooked and we're super grateful that the waiter took it back and brought crisper sausage linked on our plate. Now the only other disappointment from my husband's meal is that he never got his extra bacon instead he was brought extra sausage links. We didn't want to send it back either so we just kept it and he ate that. Overall all the food was amazing just wish everything was given to us the way we ordered it in the beginning. I would still go back and eat there.

From the moment we walked in, Brianna made us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. Her warm and radiant smile instantly made us feel at home, and her attentive service throughout our meal was nothing short of outstanding. Brianna is the epitome of what a 5-star host and server should be. She communicated exceptionally well, ensuring that our drinks were never left empty and that our food was brought to the table with care and consideration. What really set Brianna apart was how thoughtful and considerate she was about how we were feeling that day. She went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, happy, and enjoying our time there. It's rare to find someone who takes such pride in their work, and it was clear that Brianna is one of those rare gems. I've visited this location several times before, and to be honest, I've had some pretty disappointing experiences with other servers--some were even outright rude. However, Brianna is the shining light in this establishment. The moment she greets you, the entire mood shifts to something positive and welcoming. Her presence and service have the power to turn an average dining experience into something special. Brianna is without a doubt an A+ employee, and I sincerely believe she deserves more recognition from her employer for the exceptional customer service she provides. While the food itself was unfortunately poor, Brianna's service made the meal worthwhile. Despite the quality of the food, I found myself enjoying every bite simply because of the amazing experience Brianna provided. Knowing that if anything was unsatisfactory, she would correct it immediately, gave me peace of mind and allowed me to relax and focus on the positives. What also stood out was Brianna's ability to manage the environment around her. Even when it seemed like other customers were having issues or the atmosphere was tense, Brianna showed incredible teamwork. She took initiative, de-escalating situations with ease and helping other servers continue their work smoothly. Her positivity and leadership transformed the entire environment, making it a much more pleasant place to be. To be completely honest, I feel like this establishment doesn't deserve someone as exceptional as Brianna. The quality of the food and the overall condition of the restaurant simply don't match the level of service she provides. It's clear that she's putting in an incredible amount of effort and care, and I worry that one day, the poor quality of the establishment will lead to losing her as an employee. Quite frankly, I think the owners should either find her a better position or consider relocating her to a better-maintained establishment because Brianna's talents are being wasted here, and I'm certain she isn't being compensated fairly for the amount of work she does. In conclusion, while the food and environment left much to be desired, Brianna's exceptional service turned our visit into a positive experience. If you visit this location, I sincerely hope you have the pleasure of being served by Brianna--she is truly the best this restaurant has to offer!

She also announced to another waitress how much she made for the night ($450.00) and said you did good, Just was not the time and place to do that. The bathrooms need attention immediately as well as the restaurant floors!!

Haven't been to Cracker Barrel in a while and decided I wanted a sit down meal for lunch since it…read morewas gonna be a late lunch at 2 o'clock And I looked online and saw that they had some new items and some lunch specials I decided I wanted to get the turkey and dressing lunch special for $9.59 Waitress came and got my drink order and also took my order. Food arrived within 5 to 7 minutes. Everything looked nice and for the most part tasted good. The turkey appeared to be either a canned or pre-cooked breast that got sliced nothing spectacular but for the price perfectly fine The inside was unchanged, which I was glad to see it looked like the classic old Cracker Barrel inside The only issue or problem that I had was when I placed my order I pointed to the menu for the lunch specials $9.59 and showed the waitress the item I wanted and asked is this available and this is the price correct and she said yes to the lunch special for $9.59 However, when I got my bill at the end of the meal, it said turkey and dressing $13.99 and I didn't think nothing of it. I just figured I had to get it corrected at the register. When I did, they had to call the manager up and the manager was nice and solved the problem but he made it sound like it was my fault and that I ordered the $13.99 portion. I said no I specifically pointed to the menu for the lunch special for Thursday which shows $9.59 and the waitress said yes that's today's special Thursday and the price is $9.59 However, during the ordering process, the waitress asked me what side I wanted, which threw me for a loop because I wasn't expecting to decide on any side, but she told me I get to choose a side so I ordered mac & cheese So in the end, what the manager said was basically when I ordered the side that makes it the dinner portion not the lunch special and the price difference is that you're basically paying for the side, but I quickly pointed out to him that I did not make that decision. It was the waitress who asked me what side I wanted So in the end, in my opinion it's the waitress that doesn't understand or know the menu that she's serving and messed up my order by adding asking me for a side order But the only thing I don't appreciate is the fact that the manager made it sound as if it was my fault Overall, I love Cracker Barrel. I'm glad the location didn't change the interior. The biscuits were good as usual, and the overall atmosphere was good. I will return because they also have a meatloaf special on another day during the week that I'd like to try. But I will make sure and repeat myself before waitress finishes my order that she writes me up for the lunch special and if she asks me for a side I'll remind her that the lunch special doesn't include a side.

This location is terrible! Husband placed an order to go and had to wait 30 minutes at lunchtime…read morefor lunch special to be cooked. He got home with order and his chicken was beef and my iced tea was 1/2 tea and 1/2 lemonade. We won't visit this location again.
