This was my second time at Little Cloud and first time for lunch. I ordered the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich, fries with house seasoning and a side of the peppadew aioli. The sandwich had great flavor. Pretty messy, but worth it. My only suggestion (if they're taking them) is to consider pounding the chicken a little flatter. One side was so thick it was hard to eat and maybe just a little drier than it should have been. It didn't detract from the taste. As other reviews have mentioned, the fries with house seasoning are incredible. The peppadew aioli was great too. I want to try the other sauces, but I may have liked this one too much to deviate. If you're planning - and able - to finish your whole sandwich, you could probably split a "fries for 1" between two (but you might not want to). It's counter service, and the person who took our order was helpful. Not much seating if you want to eat there but overall a cute spot inside. read more

Located just to the side of Hingetown, and walking distance from the main strip of W. 25th near WSM, Little Cloud is a welcome addition to the neighborhood. The store is arranged sort of like a New Orleans shotgun house, where its not very wide but extends far far back into the building. In the front, you can find seating and you'll walk back toward the kitchen to place your order. I'd add it to the growing list of great sandwich places in Cleveland - all of which are in the general Ohio City area (Herb & Twine and Larder being the other two). What differentiates Little Cloud is the fact that they offer breakfast sandwiches, their very good bread, and that they're serving sandwiches up with some of the best french fries in town. As far as sandwiches go, my husband and I have tried the fried cauliflower (a seasonal special), turkey & brie and fried green tomato BLT - all of which have had a stand-out sauce on them, and in the right ratio. Seating is far from the counter so you have to hang around to hear your name. The staff were friendly and helpful. They have an open kitchen so customers can see what is going on. Solid little menu of breakfast and lunch sandwiches. Out of desserts like oatmeal cream pies when I went today. I got an egg and cheese sandwich on brioche which was good but nothing to write home about. It did have a big thick egg patty which was nice. Cute little place down the street from Lutheran Hospital, staffed by nice pleasant people. Came in on a Monday afternoon for lunch. The dining area is rather small, seats about a dozen. There were three other parties there while I was there. Go to the counter and order then sit down and then bring it to you. There were several items on the menu that were sold out, but I am a fan of Nashville hot chicken, so I gave the sandwich a try. It came out, reasonably quick, and had a very good flavor to it. However, to say it was hot, is an exaggeration. It was very nicely prepared, and had a host of toppings on it, with a nice fresh baked bun and a decent sized chicken breast. I was just hoping for a little bit more ass kicking spice to it. Would not hesitate to return and try other things on the menu, however, this place looks to be mostly carry out as there is not a lot of pedestrian traffic walking down the street. Ordered some sandwiches through the website and it was pretty straightforward! We ordered the Turkey and Brie sandwich, the cheesesteak and house seasoned fries with Dilly ranch. The turkey and Brie was underwhelming. The bread kind of fell apart and the texture of the Brie was a little too much. The apples added a nice flavor and textural element and I wish there was more of it. The cheesesteak was good, but it was too much bread. It said Demi baguette but it didn't have the hard crunchy texture of the bread and just soaked up the juices and got mushy. I wish they toasted their bread. Little Cloud is brand new sandwich shop/cafe located in Hingetown. It's hip, colorful, and has great location. The cafe offers a few tiny tables to enjoy food inside and to go options. Service is very genuine and friendly. This cafe is still figuring out the logistics. Check their Instagram before venturing out to ensure that they have not sold out. Also, be ready to wait. When I visited this cafe the wait was 30 minutes for a breakfast sandwich. I did not have time to wait. I just grabbed to go coffee. They serve Lekko coffee and have additional options in the coolers. Street parking is available nearby. The cafe is also close to the Tranformer Station when you can find a parking lot. read more

I was so excited to try this place, and was especially excited for their "girl dinner" as mentioned in Cleveland's Scene article. It stated the girl dinner included salad, but they don't have salad on their menu. I wouldn't consider anything on their menu to be a girl dinner (personally). I was left a little disappointed from my visit. The decoration and overall aesthetic was beautiful. But it almost seems like they were focused more on their concept than the product. Breakfast foods are my favorite, so I got an egg and cheese breakfast sandwich. The taste was okay. It was absolutely drenched in honey, so the sandwich was really sticky and too sweet for my taste. They countered it with salt, but it was too much salt! So I couldn't really taste the egg or cheese. And visually, the breakfast sandwich was really ugly and my boyfriend commented that it looked like a fast food burger because the bun was crushed and looked really greasy. He ordered the turkey and Brie and it was just alright, nothing to complain about and nothing to boast about. We ordered inside, the service workers were all really nice and friendly. They don't have their menu posted anywhere inside. It's on the ordering counter. So I felt a little pressured to make a fast decision because there were other people in line behind us! Overall rating: 2.8/5 stars I really wanted to like this place! Maybe they will find their footing once they're around for longer. I'll need to try them again late this year or maybe even next year. My Turkey & Avocado sandwich was great and my partner's Plant Stack was also very good with leftovers for both of us as we split the fries for two. Nice, colorful aesthetic and sandwiches with unique ingredient combos and the perfect bread-to-filling ratio. For me, though, the real star is the seasoned fries and sauces -- specifically the option to order six sauces so you can try 'em all. I love the sweet tamarind (so unusual to see it offered with fries!) and the smoked maple mustard (not too mustardy for this mustard-hater). I tried the bacon egg and cheese and a hashbrown. The bacon was the star of the sandwich. Eggs were cooked perfectly and the cheddar I received was solid. If I am going to knock anything on the sandwich, I would say that the bacon was too hard. Like, be careful while chewing hard. I'm not sure what process was used to cook the bacon but look for ways to soften the bacon slightly. The other knock beyond the sandwich being pretty greasy is the bun was kind of bland. No really interesting taste with it. It was just kind of there. Might be good to offer multiple options for breads, English muffins, bagels, something else. I also got the hashbrowns. The size was good and the taste was fine. I just thought it was a bit too soft. There wasn't that CRUNCH you have in the midwest with other hashbrowns. Keep it in the fryer for a bit longer. I got the chimichurri sauce and that was the second star of the show. Total flavor bomb. I think I would try this place again and think it has potential to be a standout in the area! read more

The food is absolutely delicious! I got two sandwhich the "la nonna" for a colleague. They said it was on of the best "Italian" sandwich they ever had. I had the turkey & brie on gluten free bread. The sandwich combinations on the menu are very creative and all sounded very good. My office ordered 6 different kinds for a staff lunch (none were labeled which was odd). Flavors were good but didn't wow us. Biggest issue was the filling to bread ratio. Very dense rolls for the amount of toppings. I'm curious to try another sandwich option and see if it's different. I had a superb steak and egg sandwich. The sandwich is very large in the brioche bun they use might've been the highlight of the sandwich. They are made to order but do take several minutes to put together if you're coming in a time crunch definitely order ahead of time. I'll be sure to return to try their other sandwiches! read more

I have tried to dine here twice, both times around 12pm during the week. First time they were not taking any orders and closed early, second time was a week later and they were out of food to sell and closing early. I would not go here and give them time to figure out how to stay a float and start consistently staying open for the hours they posted.
