This vet is the WORST…read more After receiving a second opinion on my Dog's broken bone, it was discovered that instead of ordering the correct splint for the injury or sending me elsewhere, Coldwater "rigged" one together. The rig was not even protecting the injury and ended up causing my animal MUCH more pain and discomfort than the actual break itself. Not only that, I was told that if the break did not heal correctly, the next step would be amputation. This worried me and my family sick. The second Vet assured me that there would NEVER be a need for amputation from the injury to my dog, EVER. Worst case scenario was way better than the fear Coldwater sold to me. Also, They charged TRIPLE the cost of any other vet in Weber County. Literally, call anyone else. Please.

While I understand that mistakes can happen, it became frustrating that it occurred more than once. I will say that when the correct service is done, the grooming itself is usually decent, it has just been difficult getting the correct service performed. Toward the end, they did acknowledge the situation, but it felt more focused on what I could have done differently rather than fully taking responsibility. I did want the bath and nail trim, but the most important service I requested was the shave. Unfortunately, the shave was not done. At checkout, I was initially told the total would be around $100 for the bath even though the main service I requested was not completed. I ultimately paid $66 for services that were not what I had asked for. When my dog was brought back to me, I was told he had been shaved to 5/8, which he clearly was not. After reviewing the groomer's notes, I was told he had received a contour and butt trim services I had declined at the beginning when they were offered. I had specifically asked for the same shave he received during his previous visit. I do acknowledge there may have been some miscommunication at the front desk, and I understand that mistakes happen. However, when it happens more than once, it becomes difficult to overlook. I also felt uncomfortable bringing my dog back to have it corrected because I worried I might be viewed as a difficult customer, and I never want to feel concerned about how that could affect how my dog is treated. Customer service and clear communication are extremely important when trusting someone with your pet. After reading some of the owner's responses to other Google reviews, the replies came across as unprofessional and poorly written. While I understand wanting to defend your business, the tone of those responses was disappointing. After giving several chances, I unfortunately don't feel comfortable bringing my dog back. I hope the facility works on improving customer service, as it is one of the most important aspects of running a business.

The staff and techs at NOAH are the absolutely most loving and kind. I could call and they would always be willing to guide and give me advice. If I ever get another pet, I trust them completely with its health.

They were also very strict with all vaccinations. I forgot to send my husband with some of the copies and we had to quickly get them emailed over before they would let him enter - which is great! My dog passed his assessment and stayed here for seven days over Thanksgiving. The price was fair and when we picked him they gave us a little treat bag and report card. My dog seemed to love it and he was always chilling in the middle of the pack when they would post anything on Instagram. Downfalls: despite strict vaccination requirements my dog still got kennel cough. He recovered quickly and it wasn't anything severe, but still a bummer. He also had one or two scratches on him. I'd imagine he was playing rough and it wasnt anything serious since his report card was all positive, but it's still something I'll watch out for if he goes back.

For instance, he did not introduce himself when he came in and after a brief greeting, he pointed to the table for our dog and began his assessment without allowing us to provide input. He was halfway out the door before he finally asked if we had any questions. However, It came off as more of a formality versus actually caring if we had any questions and addressing them. The initial interaction, lasting less than two minutes, felt rushed and impersonal, reflecting poor bedside manner. However, Dr. C significantly redeemed himself when he returned with the medications and was very polite and more attentive. Additionally, a gentleman named Alex was extremely kind and helpful, answering many of my questions and putting my mind at ease in the reception lobby. Overall, our experience mostly positive and if I had to point out any areas of improvement , it would be the overall bedside manners that the doctor provided with patients. With that being said, I would return.

The vet said "this wasn't uncommon in older dogs", and said it was just "older dog shape". His liver values on bloodwork were "a little high". He ended up passing of liver failure less than 8 weeks later. We just took our other dog to a new vet - who found multiple issues that Brookside had overlooked (severe arthritis which was written off as "older dogs get stiff", and an ear infection the new vet described as chronic, likely there for at least a year). We had trusted Brookside to care about our animals. They made it very apparent that they can't be bothered anymore.

Told me what she fed her dogs but that she never had any on the premisses.. kept lying when I went to Smiths and bought a bag of what she said she fed her dogs (Beneful) and proved he ate the same stuff. Kept lying when I went back a third time (while my boy was fighting for his life at the ER) and presented her with her dry food and a bag of the 'evidence' my boy vomited undigested. I have no words for how devastating this was for my family and mostly Max. My baby suffered agony and because of the time she wasted lying to me and my vet to save her own ass... my dog ran out of time. As a consequence Max had be put to sleep 12 hours after collecting him from his "groom'. Thank god my other 2 dogs she had that day were unharmed. I will NEVER get over the trauma leaving him there and paying and tipping that woman to essentially end his life in 2017 at the age of 7. Adding insult to injury I received a phone call from them recently offering me a discount grooming package for my dead dog. I explained why I would never bring a living creature back there, only to receive 3 further 'individual' calls that day with the same offer for every one of my pets they didn't manage to kill but had on their books. ZERO stars I tell you.. hear zip from the owner not a call a card of an F you! They should close!

Took my dog in for a haircut, 3 hours later I called to see if he was done I was told he peed in…read morehis kennel so they had to wash him that would be 45 more minutes. I told her he's never done that before ever!! Didn't hear anything so my husband shows up 1 hour later and my dog is soaking wet! They told him it would be 10 minutes to dry him off because he peed again. What? So my husband took him out to pee and noticed his foot was bleeding so back in he goes and they wrap his foot up with the excuse he must have cut it in the kennel. Well on the way home he's bleeding everywhere, we later find out its from his tongue that is split. I call the vet rush him in and he has to have surgery to repair his tongue. I believe they used the pending excuse to keep us away so they could stop his bleeding. Also he didn't even smell like he was shampooed. Never never again!!
